Forgive me if I sound hyperbolic, but Yuma Asami's breasts are perhaps the most important pair in JAV history. I cannot even imagine how many people across the world got pulled into JAV because of that singular pair. I most certainly was, more than 10 years ago at this point. You can argue the merits and demerits of her Yuma's oppai, but there's no discounting how unique they are and how important they've been to JAV. This is gonna sound really corny and again, I apologize, but Yuma's breasts have character, and the way she flaunted them - with such obvious delight (especially when she dealt with "fans") - really imbued them with a kind of magic. Perhaps Yuma's breasts aren't to your taste, and that's fine, but to omit them completely...well, that just feels like quite the oversight. On the topic of Julia's breasts being real or not, I side with you in believing they have to be real. For me personally the giveaway is how they change in volume depending on her weight. Augmented breasts, no matter how great a job was done on them, simply do not behave like that. I actually don't mind her breasts having changed with time; it actually makes them feel more special. It's as if we've all matured along with those wonderful specimens that have brought us so much enjoyment over the years. Julia, for my money, has never been sexier than she is now, and not just because she's now firmly ensconced in the "mature" faze of her career; her body just looks more "complete" than it ever has before. I can honestly enjoy every aspect of her physical being at this point, especially her legs and ass, which have only gotten better while she's toned up a bit, but especially, to my mind, what's always been her best, but perhaps underrated by most, features: her glowing, flawless skin, and her heartwarming smile (especially now that she's got some wrinkles to go along with it, which just makes that much more endearing). Also, the fact that she looks more comfortable now than she ever has makes me love the faze that she's currently in even more. Thank God for Julia.

My pleasure. So Rino did under-perform? Hmmm....that's unfortunate. She definitely deserved better if that is indeed the case. Maybe she was just unlucky, or didn't have the best agent or representation. At least we still out here singing her praises, so hopefully that positivity reaches her somehow through the ether.

Hey, IPZ-746 makes the list. A supreme masterpiece from start to finish. I feel that Rino Kirishima was an underappreciated performer when she was active, but she's been so good in many things I've seen her in; maybe it's just my imagination that she wasn't as valued as she should have been. I personally dislike POV productions, but you can't argue much with IPZ-127's inclusion. Rio and Aino Kishi are two of my favorites of all time - both probably make my Top 10 performers list - and they just gel so wonderfully together; it's almost uncannily natural. Makes me wonder, though: what do the performers consider a good piece of work on their part? How much they enjoyed making it, or how they come across? Porn is so iffy and subjective in terms of what one would consider quality, so I can't even imagine what the performers' personal criteria must be for good work, yet despite our differing tastes, we fans are usually pretty together when it comes to recognizing something special. I mean, we've been celebrating the same works for years and years - some of them almost a decade old, or even older, at this point - on sites like these. I mean, I've been turned onto works where I would never even be drawn to the performer, yet I'm like: "Yah, whoever sang this thing's praises was right on the money". Anyways, thanks for another awesome list. Sometimes it's just really nice to read someone's appreciation of something that you yourself have valued for the longest time, not to even mention new recommendations that pop up. Looking forward to Part 3.

I love lists like these. You know you're getting down to serious business when you're talking about "perfect" art. That being said, for me personally there are no 10/10 anything, in any art form or genre; only close-to-10s, or masterworks, if you will. 10/10 for me means something that is flawless, with zero room for improvement that will stand the test of time practically for eternity, and no such thing exists - not even Mulholland Drive, OK Computer, Persona 5 or Hamlet LOL. Of course when we're talking about JAV, a certain degree of leniency is of course fine, as it isn't a serious art form, but still, appreciation is almost always rooted in subjectivity, so perfection is a very strong word. But I very much appreciate the passion behind endeavors like this list, and of course it's a very entertaining and fascinating read. With that being said, I've seen many of the entries on this list, and the only one I'd agree on unequivocally with it being close to perfect is SSNI-424 - unquestionably Aoi's greatest ever release. For something to be close to perfect in JAV for me personally, consistency is the most important thing. The slightest aesthetic variable being off can greatly affect how I ultimately view a release. There's nothing I hate more than when a title has been shot a certain way throughout, for instance, only for them to change the filming style for a scene, like switching from 3rd person to 1st person, which can ruin the pacing; or for them to change the camera lenses or filters, which breaks with the look and mood of what has come before, which often ruins one's immersion. I'm not a fan of POV, but SSNI-424 is an exception. What's important is that it's rock solidly put together from start to finish and it's wonderfully shot, which aids immensely in it being a title I can enjoy from start to finish. That's the other thing for me: Is it a title I can enjoy from the first scene to the last, without skipping over parts I don't care for? There are not many titles like that in JAV for me, personally. So with those parameters being my guiding principles, some titles that qualify as my personal close-to-perfection favorites include MIRD-136 (Ohashi Mihisa's close to retirement bus tour fan thanksgiving); KV-210 (Ai Mukai's dungeon style gangbang cream-pie special); DV-1166 (Yuma Asami's infamous English "study session"); IPTD-999 (Rio's "girlfriend's sister's seduction" video); IPZ-746 (Rino Kirishima as an erotic slut nurse); 2020's DASD-771 (Akari Mitani as an "older sister type" at a bathhouse); PPPD-348 (JULIA as a personal tutor with alternative methods); and almost anything Gokkun that has Tsubomi or Ai Uehara in it (I have my own personal fetishes that override my "critical faculties", OK...LOL). These releases all have good pacing and consistent production levels, and the performers in them are of course just at the height of their powers. Please keep these lists coming. I don't always, or even often agree with what's in the lists, but they're always an eye opener and I have discovered some incredible gems because of you guys over the years I would't have otherwise known about, so I always appreciate that.

Thanks for this really great article on Akari. She absolutely deserves such a glowing write-up. Too bad she'll likely never know that she's so appreciated outside of Japan that people are writing entire essays about her. I'm very glad to hear though that she's such a popular performer in her homeland. Things like sales don't matter to me in the slightest, because I like who I like regardless of popularity, but to the actress it would of course be a very big deal, so it's good to know that Akari is getting positive feedback for the consistently great work she's putting out there. I've stated in the comments before that I think she has the most perfect body of any current performer, with virtually every physical aspect of her being very close to a 9, if not higher. Her breasts are a perfect 10 for me, for instance; just perfectly shaped and perky. I don't understand this business of great breasts automatically being equated with size. There are many wonderful actresses with perfectly fine smaller breasts that are ideal for their frames that I'd rate very highly, but for me Akari's are as close to perfect as you can get for her body type. I love how her skin also has that "as-if--illuminated-from-within" pale glow of some of my favorite actresses. The thing I appreciate about her the most though is just how much she puts into each release. Like someone like Yuma Asami, she has that natural performer thing about her where porn just happens to be the medium she's expressing herself in (to our great, great fortune), but I could easily see her making people happy with her goofily endearing lighthearted expressions and intense application at times in other entertainment forms. Whatever she's in, whatever the setting or context and whether it requires acting "or not", she just always seems to be comfortable and enjoying herself. Her range is actually pretty remarkable and it probably explains why her sales are so consistent: her fans just know whatever she's in her performance will be quality. PLEASE make a Top 10 list for Akari at some point. If you get around to it, I hope there's a little room for DASD-771. It's nothing too extreme, just a cute little title with all of Akari's goofy charm on display. Thanks again for the article.
