You state that well enough in your article, and I respect your opinion. I just hope when one of the actresses you mention delivers a good work that you're open to checking it out and if necessary, that you'd be open to having your mind changed. Thank you for the insightful article. I always enjoy reading your critiques and you've recommended some fantastic stuff and actresses that I've come to love, so thank you too for broadening my horizons.

Couldn't agree more. People seem to forget that JAV is like any other entertainment form: it often depends on the director and if the actress is in a decent spell of form. Saki Okuda is one of the most electric performers when she's in her element and even if she might not be in the middle of a great run at any time, she can still pull a banger out of the hat out of nowhere. She's not one that should ever be underestimated or given up on.

You can never truly count out Saki Okuda and Aika Yumeno. Yes, their content might seem similar from month to month, but it might very well be that that is what they're comfortable with, and that's perfectly fine by me. I wouldn't want actresses to push themselves purely for the sake of others; it's their bodies and mental well-being they have to look after. In any event, these two will surprise you out of nowhere with a title that is just perfect, hence I never count them out. Saki is one of the sexiest and funniest actresses out there when she's in a title that is well directed and leans into her strongest archetype: "the out of touch auntie who's put in a situation where she's out of her depth, but kind of naively and goodheartedly just goes along with it". Aika again, when she appears to be truly enjoying herself and is with an actor she has good chemistry with, just exudes an almost serene sex appeal like few other actresses. I will never give up on these two legends; they still have all the right stuff in spades.

I intensely dislike cosmetic surgery of any kind, especially breast augmentations, even as I can acknowledge that sometimes an actress just needs a minor "touch-up" to go from potentially beautiful and marketable to an icon. Most of the time I just skip past actresses where the work they had done is super obvious. That being said, some actresses are so off the charts spectacular that I don't even care about the work they had done. Perhaps the most obvious actress in that regard is Kurea Hasumi. I think her breast augmentation has settled over the years and it looks much nicer than before, but still, it's not great. Her ass, however - maybe the greatest every in the entirety of international porn; her body proportions, her cute face and of course her unrivaled enthusiasm and stamina all make her an actress that's impossible to skip past, no matter one's hang-ups.

What a loss for JAV. Iori is and has always been an outstanding actress and performer. I hope she has a great final year to send off in style. I mean, Minami Hatsukawa has an outstanding year, probably doing her best ever work, so much so I don't want her to retire. We're losing too many irreplaceable greats in a short time.
