Asahi pretty much aces all roles. That's one of the things that's great about her. She may not be the best actress ever, but I don't ever get the feel she dials it in.

He is far from a good-looking guy, but he also doesn't come off as a creep. A fun-loving perverted older uncle type. Sort of like Narusawa, but not as ugly.

My only issue with this are the tanlines on her arms. It's one of those "once you notice, you can't ever ignore" type of things. She should've covered up and/or been better with SPF usage in the time leading up to the shoot.
