Physical

Facially I wasn't that much of a fan. I don't know what it was about her face but I just wasn't crazy about it. I think she did look fairly different from cover to cover, as you can see above. Many covers make her look a little different between them so you really have to watch her to get a sense. You can see a more accurate representation below.

I do think Kokona will look better with time but also I think that she's someone who could grow on me. I don't always like an actress' face right off the bat (looking at you Akari Mitani) and I get a sense that over time I might feel differently about Kokona too.

Kokona's boobs were pretty decent. 88 G cup is a pretty decent size even if I do wish for stuff much larger. They had a good amount of firmness and jiggle to them, so on her back you could really enjoy them quite a bit. This is one of those cases where I know my huge boob bias hurts my ability to fairly rate them and I'm sure they're nicer than I give them credit for being.

Kokona's ass was alright. In certain positions or with her back arched well it might look good, but a lot of the time it didn't look anything special. It does seem like with some experience she might learn to arch it just right and make it stand out, but I think it'll just be an average ass for a lot of the time.

Performing

As a performer Kokona was fairly generic. When you got down to the sex scenes she was just going through the motions, moaning the way one does and not really being engaged in the content. You always hate to see it but with debuts you come to expect it.

The one thing she did well was hold her composure when it was absolutely critical. That's a tough task for many actresses and Kokona did a superb job of it. Not just keeping her voice down but engaging in dialogue without them being any the wiser.

Video Review

When Shinji-kun has no luck with the ladies Kokona agrees to be his first. She then ends up being his second, third, and every time after.

Kokona's performance wasn't half bad. Yeah, during normal sex scenes she was mediocre at best, with very mediocre expressions the way you often see JAV actresses doing. Where she did shine was during risky sex, able to completely flip it and keep her composure a lot better. The moaning was very minimal and she even managed to cover her face to try and prevent it, which is a great sign from her. She also looked good as she smiled with cum splattered on her face.

The content was also rather good. A good mix of various things, from a blowjob behind the counter to sex in the shower. They did a great job giving us some really nice variety in a video that took place all in a single home. Most videos get lazy and just use the bedroom on repeat, but this video took the extra mile to make it quite varied. Yeah, there were some scenes in the bedroom, but with eight scenes in total it definitely felt like the bedroom stuff wasn't overpowering. Especially with the bedroom stuff not feeling too overpowering, you could really enjoy the bedroom content itself.

Career

So far Kokona's career has been going alright. She's getting a steady stream of opportunities for decent studios like Fitch, Madonna, Honnaka, etc. I think it's interesting that she's getting cast in MILF roles despite her age being just 20 years old. It's as if they don't care about that age and just said screw it, we'll do it anyway. While you do see that all the time, I think the amount she has seems to scream that they think she's got the ability to look a bit older if need be. I generally consider that a good thing because it widens the variety of roles they can play quite substantially, giving them a lot more depth as an actress.

Verdict

Rating - C

It is unlikely I will watch them again but if the right content comes around I'm open to it.

I think Kokona wasn't the greatest but I see a lot of potential in her. I feel like I'm not a huge fan of her at the moment, between her face and her curves not standing out to me, but something tells me this isn't the last time I've seen her. Her career looks quite promising even if she doesn't quite end up doing anything too extreme. She's an actress that I'll keep an eye out on.
