2024 Debut Review - Mao Hotta

Mao is the absolute last actress I watched for 2024's debut season. The last spot is always a bit of a coveted spot because I agonize over it. Who am I going to pass on this year? It feels like I agonize over it more than I ought to considering I know I'll watch another 7 the following year to see if there's anyone I missed. I know there's a few late debuts I skipped over, and I figured with Mao she had a good year and I had a little bit more faith as a result.

Facially I was not into her. She had a very large nose that was unattractive, just big in every dimension you could think of. It was wide both at the nostrils and the bridge, it was long and droopy, just not a fan. I also found that her upper cheeks were very large and when she smiled her eyes became really small as a result. I think maybe that was also accentuated a bit by the large bags under her eyes. Her front two teeth were also a bit jutted. I feel like more than most I was finding ways to dislike her but I think compared to most she had easily identifiable reasons I disliked her face. I find on social media she tends to avoid smiling as big as she can as if the manager knows it's not a flattering look for her.

I found myself not really that big a fan of her boobs either. Her boobs were big but they were shaped a little bit too round that they came off as being potentially fake. Especially in some positions, they held up the kind of way that makes you think they're fake, or didn't really bounce and jiggle. Some positions made me second guess, but if I had to pick a side I would say they are likely fake.

Mao's ass was nice. It had some heft to it and some jiggle while she was riding or taking it from behind. I found that some positions made it seem smaller than others, but in reality it was quite big. I think you really noticed the difference in size between her waist and hips and how big it actually seemed as a result.

Mao's paizuri was fine. She could at least put it between her tits and do the basic stuff. Some minimal eye contact during, at times she had to look down to make sure she was doing it right, and honestly it looked like she was just closing her eyes during it.

Mao's moaning was so-so. I found I liked that she paced it a bit with rests but that sort of soft grunting isn't nice. Give me that deep, guttural stuff, not this. I think her also just not really looking on and closing her eyes made it feel like she was a bit of a pillow princess.

Mao's moaning was pretty tolerable when she needed to be quiet though. She knew how to keep her voice down unlike some other recent debuts, which is always a good sign.

Anyone that really knows me should know that I have very strong opinions about studios other than Oppai doing this theme, and that opinion is that they should stop doing this. They always feel like they're skimping out on what makes it hot, which isn't that you're cheating on your girlfriend with her sister, but that you're always five feet from getting caught. It's that element of risk that makes it great, and while this video had one risky scene it did not really have enough risk. I'm sorry but a scene in the kitchen at night is not it. I mean sure, the lighting was fantastic in the scene but gosh darn I want it to be risky. Sure, we got some great angles, and cool, Mao had some fun schoolgirl outfits on, but again, not enough of the right thing. All of these studios need to take notes from Oppai and figure their videos out before I stop watching them outright.

Mao's career has been going fairly well. She's thankfully at a good agency in Light Pro which has quite a few actresses I've reviewed for past debut seasons, like Aya Ueha, Momoka Kagura, Mina Kitano, Jun Suehiro, Reika Takeda, and many more. She's also had a string of solid releases including the nurse video and the IV for Air Control.

Mao also has a VR which is again always a good sign in the first year. As bland as it might be you can never go wrong with early VR.

This kind of woman might appeal to some but not me. She has boobs, sure, but that isn't enough these days. I hate having to repeat myself about this fact but there are just so many high quality debuts that the bar has been raised to a really high level. I'm also not the kind for this schoolgirl appeal, not unless they're like a 9/10 face or better. I don't think she's very pretty, sad to say, and I didn't really see enough elsewhere to make me go wild. I mean sure, she has a solid ass among other things, but turns out that ass isn't really something I care that much about (go figure that the boobman doesn't care for ass). I don't really see myself caring much about Mao and I intend to not really pay attention. If there's a video of hers that is so good I have to watch it then someone will inevitably tell me about it. I'll probably still wind up seeing all the new covers just because of how I look through new releases, but I'll be skipping her the same as if she was some other actress I haven't seen and don't want to.
