Actress Spotlight: Nana Ogura (Part 1)

Years after her retirement in 2014, Nana Ogura remains in many JAV fans' memories and conversations. This beauty, who spent her entire career under the studio Max-A, is one of the industry's modern legends. Working alongside fellow Max-A top billers Aino Kishi, Rio (Tina Yuzuki), Mihiro, Sora Aoi, and other big names, Nana-chan had a solid 4-year career. 

Nana is known for her cute face and facial smile. In all of her performances, she exudes an innocent yet confident energy. This makes the videos she makes very entertaining to watch. It is her little genuine reactions, quirks, and enthusiasm that makes otherwise formulaic JAV scripts more lively.

Prior to her debut, Nana-chan has appeared in several Max-A compilations. But she gets a proper debut in XV-863 in a rather standard newcomer title.

While debut Nana is far from peak Nana is terms of performance, assertiveness, and sexuality, XV-863 gives us a rare view of Nana-chan as a nervous newbie.

XV-863 has quite a few hits and misses. Personally, I did not like her make-up here. She also looks a bit chubbier and awkward. It seems like she still hasn't figured out how to have sex on camera and perhaps how to act coy and submissive. While there is some solid sex here, some of it seems a bit tedious and formulaic - none of the confidence and dynamism in most of Nana's later titles. 

But we already know something is amiss: perhaps Nana doesn't know how to act, but she simply likes to have sex, and we get to see this in XV-863. When the pounding starts to get serious, she gets into her element and acts more naturally. We get to see this in the final scenes of XV-863, particularly when she gets into a debut 3P.

She also swallowed the cum of the actor in the very first scene. In another interview, she shared that the producers were shocked by this, but she thought it was what she was supposed to do. She has swallowed semen in most of her scenes since then. 

Production-wise, XV-863 is quite vanilla, and it seems like the wardrobe team has yet to figure out a style that fits Nana. Perhaps they're conflicted on whether to dress her like a newbie or like an experience madonna.

XV-881 has a total of six scenes, not counting the interviews and fillers. The individual scenes are quite long and intense, as they seem to have aimed to make Nana sweat for her day's bread. There is also enough variety in positions and action to keep the viewers engaged. 

Nana worked with a surprising number of familiar actors. For instance, our boy Taku Yoshimura also got to ravish her in the third scene, making his way into her most private regions, exchanging spit, and making the most out of Nana's lively breasts. 

The outfits they gave her in XV-881 are quite varied, but I loved the casual ones. I like seeing Nana looking like a pretty plain girl instantly transform into a horny bitch the second you press her love buttons. There are also some sexier outfits where they dressed up Nana to look like a typical slut, but personally I think she looks sexy enough in more casual clothes. 

The final scene was an absolute joy. The gangbang with Genjin Mirobayashi and Shimiken is almost like a competition on who gets to fuck her the hardest. Nana definitely likes being the center of attention, being all giggly as the two masters of sex introduce her unknown pleasures. 

They also got to tie up Nana and play with her in bondage. 

I'm still not a big fan of her overdone make-up here, as we don't get to see her natural beauty. There is no question here, XV-881 is still definitely one of her best works, as it shows her early in her career being the semen demon that she was going to be famous for. 

XV-1149 - I Want To Fuck All Day Long! What I Would Do If I Have Nana Ogura In Front Of Me

Now this one's special. A fan favorite, XV-1149's premise is quite simple. Nana has to play several roles: a sales lady, a corporate masseuse, a naughty bartender, and a convenience store clerk with a taste for exhibitionism. In each situation, the lucky actors instantly recognize Nana's beauty and talk her into having sex. She agrees, of course. So what would YOU do if you have Nana Ogura in front of you? You'd surely come up with a list of depravities, and this title did not hold back putting them into action. 

XV-1149 has quite a number of scenarios, all of them showing different sides of Nana's sexuality. For example, in the first scene with Ryo Sawai, Nana is visibly more adventurous, and her chemistry with Ryo is on full display. Just watch her smile in a mix of shock and amusement as Ryo eats her spit two times after a sloppy deepthroat!

The third scene is also interesting. Acting as the barista, we get to see touching her fellow barista's ass, flirting with him. It turns out that all she wants is some protein to put into her next cocktail. 

In the final scene at the convenience store, Nana gets down to business as a group of losers watch her suck cock and get pounded on the dirty store floor. To top it all off, she gets the first bukkake of her career. You have to give it to them, these boys' loads were professional-level. XV-1149 is fun to watch from start to finish. The simple but outlandish scenarios were complemented by Nana's vigorous performance. She did not also lack of her trademark enthusiasm as she takes on one scene after another. 

XV-926 - Anywhere Anytime As Many Times As You Want To Pump Me Full Of Cum! 

The 10's were an interesting time in JAV. The industry was transforming and becoming more mainstream, but the studios still have their old habits, such as putting out money to make long outdoor movies. We still have a few of them around, albeit in less grander scale and ambition. Good thing Nana-chan got the chance (in fact, multiple chances) to shoot a legit outdoor title.

XV-926 is definitely a porn movie, but its shooting location might as well pass for a Japanese indie film. None of the abandoned buildings and faux village sets. XV-926 was shot in beautiful beaches, picturesque cliffs, rocky shores, and, inexplicably, a worker's barracks (lol).

But other than being an outdoors sex movie, its theme is also "fucking Nana anytime anywhere and filling her with cum." So we get to see Nana taking in the beautiful view, watching a local fisherman, and suddenly getting groped and fucked en plein air. The randomness and playfulness of the scenarios are peak porn entertainment. 

The best scene of the movie is the epic first scene. Here is she has teamed once again with Ryo Sawai and Nojima Makoto.

The scene starts with a bit of teasing, before the duo fucks her on the lawn..

and makes her water the grass..

..continues to fuck her as they crawl to the pool..

..then slowly enter the living room without taking out their dicks from her holes..

There are other outdoor scenes that are worth watching, such as the scene by the rocky cave, and other teasing scenes. Naturally, there are some hotel scenes which have some great fucking too. 

Nana has since released a few other outdoor movies, often with her sporting a tan. But XV-926 has cemented Nana's reputation as a nature girl.

XV-932 - Completely Uncut! Ogunana Will Definitely Make Men Cum Three Times In 60 Minutes!

One's sexual ability can be measured by how fast one can make his/her partner cum. This is why it's a joy to see Nana-chan put her skills on full display on XV-932 where she is challenged to make men cum three cums within 60 minutes. 

In this title, Nana has to work with a bunch of 'amateurs', supposedly non-actors who are lucky enough to be Nana's sexual guinea pigs. She fucks these losers in their tiny and dirty apartments and hotel rooms. Not all of them are nobodies though, as we get to see Nana pair up again with Ryo Sawai. The producers made it a point to show viewers the clock and prove that Nana can make the guys cum thrice in an hour. But it's amazing that Nana didn't seem to rush in each of the encounters. There's also quite some talk in this video, telling us that Nana is a real master of foreplay. Nevertheless, all in all XV-932 is a solid video that displays Nana's cum siphoning skills. We get to see a more assertive version of her, one that speaks of experience and a real love for sex.
