BREAKING: Kanon Kanade Returns, Yua Mikami Flies To Taiwan, Mao Hamasaki Gets Harassed In Public.

Back in May, I dropped some juicy scoop on Kanon Kanade making a big comeback earlier in April. Subsequent to me breaking the news on our site, her fans were on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting her return to the screen. Kanon, you see, had a promising start to her career, having burst into the scene with Moodyz, just fresh out of college in 2019. Since then, she'd been featured in a staggering number of JAVs, captivating audiences with her performance and undeniable charm, so much so that our in-house team member ended up quoting her as "A once in a millenium AV actress".

Out of nowhere, she disappeared in late fall last year. The sudden disappearance left her fans anxious and scratching their heads, wondering where she had been to. Speculations ran wild, and Kanon's absence only heightened the anticipation for her eventual comeback.

Fast forward to the current day and we've got some good news. Kanon has officially confirmed that she's back in action. She let the cat out of the bag on her social media, announcing that she had wrapped up shooting for a JAV in April. Now, if my math skills serve me right, that should have seen the AV hitting screens by August. But hey, sometimes these studios take time to handle the marketing and technical aspects of things, so it's now officially scheduled to release on November, and this time around Kanon is making her official comeback.

In a heartfelt statement posted on Instagram, Kanon extended her gratitude to her fans for their patience in waiting for her return, "I'm back after a year's absence. I'm not retiring yet. To all of you who have been waiting for my release, Thank you so much! And from now on, I'm going to be an exclusive member of "Muku". She also dropped a little hint that they could expect a steady flow of her works in the coming months. "I'll be releasing a new piece every month. First of all, this is my first new work in a long time! I hope you enjoy it a lot. I'm glad I can finally tell you all about it!" So, Kanon lovers, you've got some exciting times ahead!

But here's the exciting part, she's not just making a comeback, she's switching things up. According to her latest tweet, Kanon has cut ties with her former studio and is now rolling under the MUKU banner. I assume her fans are curious as to how this change will impact her work. Her first AV under the MUKU label is set to release next month, and it's got the fans hyped up already.

Now, for the ones who are really keeping up with the gossip, there's another question on their minds. Does Kanon still work at Toro Ana and provide those extracurricular services to her clients, besides her mainstream AV career? Well, that's a whole different can of worms. Yua was recently caught by the paparazzis in Taiwan. You may think for TRE but this time around, she was in the country for an entirely different reason and the paparazzi couldn't resist getting a piece of the action.

Now, you might wonder what in the world brought her down to Taiwan, right? Well, it turns out she was there for something rather unexpected, to inaugurate the Professional Baseball League in Taiwan. Seems like a bit off the track, but it makes sense when you think about it. It’s possible she was invited because she has innumerable fans in the country and was likely to make an eye candy for the fans who came to attend the match.

Apparently, Yua was there on October 8, 2023 to appear as a guest star at the opening match of the country’s baseball league (CPBL) among the two sides Weichuan Dragons & CITIC brothers, donning the former’s jersey. As if that wasn't enough, she had the honor of throwing the first pitch. Now, that's something you don't see every day, especially not from a renowned AV actress.

But, here's the funny part, the pitch didn't quite go as planned. In fact, it was a bit of a blooper moment. The ball intended to make it to the pitcher went quite off the trajectory and for the fans in the stands, it was a laughing matter. Yua herself couldn’t stop herself and burst into laughter. In all my years of reporting, I have to admit, I've never seen an AV actress attempting to throw a ball at a major baseball event. Talk about Yua breaking stereotypes with this one!

AV actresses at sporting events isn’t a rare occurrence, and you’d be mistaken to think so. There have been several instances of AV actresses being papped at sporting events and the list will probably run long if I try to list each of them but this particular event was all about Yua.

But that's not all. Yua wasn't just there for the inaugration and to look pretty in a jersey. As per reports, those who attended the game saw glimpses of her high spirits throughout the event. She had joined the cheerleaders of the team for a little dance session, adding an extra dash of entertainment to the opening match. She was enthusiastic for the most part, even interacting with fans as they waved to her and she waved back.

Earlier, before this baseball extravaganza in Taiwan, Yua had been making headlines for an altogether different reason. There was a love triangle controversy swirling around Yua, involving two active members from Johnny Kitagawa's boy band. The story was juicy, to say the least, but it seems like we'll have to wait a bit for it to evolve and see where it goes.

At the moment, it appears that Yua is living her best life after retiring from the AV industry, making headlines as usual, and I’m pretty sure she left the fans with memories of a game they won't forget anytime soon. Let us wait for what she’s upto next.

I hope you guys still remember Hinata Marin announcing her retirement in the community not long ago? Yes, although she went to film her retirement film not long after the statement was released, the fans will have to wait a bit more as the film will not be released to them until November 21.

As previously cited in her retirement testimony, the 27 year old will officially retire with her work set to release next month, ending her 4-year long haul as an AV actress. PRED-538, her retirement JAV has also been opened for pre-sale by the makers. Some of you might recall her citing that the filming for her retirement work begun in June and I’m glad Premium gave her the chance to express herself through the AV.

At the beginning of the film, Hinata shared that she has always tried her best to repay the love and trust fans have given her over the past 4 years. The closer the filming date got, the more she didn't want to do it because her emotions were hard to describe. Hinata's statement was similar to her retirement statement. She originally thought that she would never get married or have sex with a man other than an AV actor, but then as she got close to her retirement, she changed her mind to accept and enjoy having sex with ordinary people, but she mentioned of being a celibate for a couple of days.

Her retirement AV is unlike any other. Packed with back to back exnticing performances. If you haven't been keeping up with the latest happenings in the JAV business let me fill you in on what's been going on, AV actress turned DJ, Mao Hamasaki is currently on a break from her filming JAVs. Mao recently took to her Twitter to share a rather unfortunate and unsettling experience. The 29 year old opened up about an incident where she caught a stranger in the act, trying to harass her. The incident happened right after she returned to her hotel following a DJ gig. The news comes as utterly shocking and serves as a chilling reminder that even in the life of a celebrity, personal space and boundaries should be respected.

The only good thing in this unsettling story is that Mao had her manager and assistant by her side, and they immediately sprang into action to protect her and thwarted the action, having handed the accused to the cops. It's good to know that she had a support system that reacted swiftly to ensure her safety.

Mao recently took to her Twitter to talk about the incident and delivered an important message in the process. She emphasized that being a JAV actress is just a profession and in no way means that she should be subjected to disrespect or invasive actions. And I couldn't agree more with her on this. Regardless of one's profession, everyone deserves respect and personal space, and nobody should ever feel unsafe or violated.

Now, it's not all about serious stuff with Mao. Rather on the flipside, she's also been in the news for some more lighthearted moments. For instance, she had the chance of meeting her favorite DJ, Steve Aoki. The excitement was evident all throughout, and as funny as it may sound, she even got him to autograph her cleavage. This was enough to remind me that our favorite AV stars are fans themselves, and they have their starstruck moments too.

Now coming to her hiatus, Mao seems to be taking a bit of a break from her AV schedule, focusing her energy on her alternate DJ career. It’s pretty evident now what she wants to pursue post her retirement from the industry.

With this particular incident, Mao just set an example that she is not only a talented artist but also a strong advocate for women’ rights. You go, girl!
