First Impressions - Nozomi Shirahama

New busty debuts are popping up everywhere and IdeaPocket is no different. She debuted at the beginning of this year and after five releases I figured now is a great time to check her out. As per usual I'll watch and review each film capping it off with a score at the end. Then after all five films, I'll give my overall thoughts and whether or not I'll watch more of her. Now without further ado, let's begin!

"Lady with big breasts". Well, that's pretty straight and to the point. This is of course Nozomi's debut film so plotwise there's virtually nothing to talk about. It's just a typical debut-style film with all the bells and whistles you've come to expect by now such as featuring an interview scene at the beginning and overall feeling very safe. No surprise given this is a major vanilla studio in IdeaPocket. Now right off the bat, one thing I dislike here is the pacing. The film is 220 minutes long and ends up feeling very bloated thanks to some scenes that are just excessively dragged out or just serve as filler such as a boring masturbation scene. The sex scene at the end is another example of this and is overall the worst scene here sadly ending the film on a disappointing note.

Overall there are three sex scenes with one being a threesome and an additional blowjob scene that features a very suspicious facial that could very well be fake sadly. The sex itself is fine but nothing really more than that. The position variety is solid at least and they do a solid job of showcasing her figure. But unfortunately, some of that enjoyment is kneecapped by the mediocre production values. The sex scene at the end is quite boring with its dull hotel room setting, schoolgirl outfit that ends up covering up her body, and some lousy static camerawork. Not only that but the two prior sex scenes use the exact same room with the exact same lighting setup that is way too damn bright giving it this offputting hazy feel. All this results in a pretty lackluster debut all around.

Here we have her second film and it should come as no surprise that it's extremely vanilla. It follows a similar formula often found in many debut's early releases in that it centers around a group of sex scenes with different actors. It's nothing fancy and offers up very little spice but it's to be expected for just her second film. With the focus on the action, it better be good right? Well, it's pretty solid overall. It features four sex scenes, a paizuri scene, and a very forgettable masturbation scene. I really don't have any other complaints regarding the action besides that worthless masturbation scene as all the cumshots appear to be real which is always nice and the pacing is rather brisk without getting too bogged down at any point. It won't blow you away but it's perfectly serviceable.

One nitpick I do have to point out is the inclusion of Taku. He's not as annoying as some of his other appearances but his frequent tropes are still present sadly. That negative aside, the production values are relatively decent throughout. The lighting fares much better than in her first film with far more variety and the camerawork is fine too with a nice POV scene to boot. The settings are a little bland but it's not a huge deal. Now I should touch on her acting a bit but there's not much to say. Her enthusiasm is middling at best and her facial expressions are mostly a miss often looking rather disinterested from the action. But again she's still new to I'm not too critical just yet. IPZZ-264 is a step up from her debut and offers up some decent enjoyment but still nothing too memorable.

Oh boy, Soaplands. We all know how I feel about soapland themes so my expectations weren't too high going into this one. My hopes weren't too high going into this one but it turned out to be a solid watch. The premise is exactly as you'd expect with it revolving around soapland play with all the typical settings and foreplay. It's extremely basic and doesn't offer up anything new whatsoever. What you see is what you get. Despite my distaste for this theme, this may be my favorite film of hers yet and it's especially thanks to the nice production values. While the settings aren't too diverse, the lighting is terrific and the camerawork does a fine job at capturing some really great angles of her body and tits. It also doesn't get too bogged down with all the usual soapland fluff.

The pacing is relatively smooth compared to some other films in the genre. Now it's not all good news here as her performance is still pretty underwhelming There is perhaps a slight improvement but nothing too impressive. Her general enthusiasm is still lackluster with little effort given at times. I'll end this on a positive note by saying the action is quite enjoyable consisting of three sex scenes and an admittedly forgettable blowjob scene. That's a skip but every other scene is on point with a nice mix of positions and decent pacing. This is also easily the best she's looked so far and really the first time I've been impressed by her appearance. I'm still not a huge fan of the soapland theme but the execution here is solid enough to make it worth a watch.

Nozomi's got a new hairdo here. She's trimmed up her hair which I think compliment her quite nicely. And with a film centered around one of my favorite things, tittyfucks, we should be golden right? Well not exactly. The premise indeed revolves around paizuri while also putting Nozomi more into a dominant role while sporting an array of different outfits such as a reverse bunnygirl outfit and slutty doctor uniform. It all sounds great on paper but the execution is just off the mark in several ways starting with the action. It consists of three sex scenes and two paizuri scenes. My biggest complaint is that the one paizuri scene at least features two fake cumshots which suck all the satisfaction from them as her acting doesn't help much either(more on that later). The other paizuri scene may use a fake cumshot too but it's a little harder to tell as her outfit covers up the load a bit.

The sex scenes at least end with a real cumshot and are mostly enjoyable. Now as I hinted at earlier, her acting really drags the paizuri action down. Her performance is pretty disappointing especially during the tittyfucking as her technique needs a lot of work and her facial expressions are completely absent. I understand that with her bolt-ons it can be difficult to fully wrap up around the guy but even then it's hard to fully enjoy when she constantly has a deadpan look on her face. It's painfully frustrating as these tittyfuck scenes feature the best outfits/looks of hers from the entire film and they go to waste. That's easily one of the best aspects here as I love her new hairstyle and her wardrobe is very sexy and diverse. Short hair definitely suits her. But sometimes the lighting isn't the best such as in the last sex scene with it being too bright for my liking. I really wanted to like this more but the lousy tittyfuck scenes and middling performance really hold it back.

One thing I will praise IP debut's about over other studio debuts like S1 is that they get more plot-driven opportunities much earlier on. Hell, at the time of this writing, Ren Gojo is still stuck doing vanilla themes. Anyway, the plot here casts Nozomi as a new OL intern at a lingerie company who is made to model the pieces herself and well...you can likely guess where this is going. She then ends up having sex with all her co-workers and customers alike. I felt conflicted with this one as I enjoyed her going to customers' homes and showcasing the pieces, but the office scenes' more submissiveness just isn't my cup of tea. And it doesn't help that Nozomi's performance is incredibly underwhelming. I understand that she's still new but still, there's just nothing here to get excited about when it comes to her acting.

She's painfully stiff most of the time with deadpan facial expressions and low energy. This is really tough draw for her as this setup really demands an engaging and lively performance to nail the role of a lingerie saleswoman to which Nozomi falls flat. This really kneecaps the enjoyment which is frustrating as the production values at least are generally solid. All her lingerie outfits are pretty sexy and I loved her range of hairstyles. The settings are diverse enough and the lighting is good although a bit flat in the first scene which kinda ruins it for me. Lastly, we have the action which is a mixed bag. It consists of three sex scenes and two paizuri scenes. My main issue is the tittyfuck scenes are kind of a waste with their fake cumshots. But the sex scenes are good at least with relatively smooth pacing. Frustration is the key word to describe this film. It has a good premise and production values but her performance is just so terrible. It's still an okay watch but could've been much more.
