First Impressions - Shio Asami

You guys know me by now that if there's a new busty debut, I'm most likely there. So naturally I had to check out Shio Asami. She's a Dahlia exclusive having been around for about 5 or so months now. There hasn't been much noise about her but perhaps she's a hidden gem. As always I'll check out five films of hers and review each one. At the end I'll give my closing overall thoughts and whether or not I'll continue watching her. Now without further ado, let's begin!

I'll be kicking off this post with her debut film of course. This shouldn't come as a surprise as it's your typical debut-style film with all the bells and whistles you've come to expect. You're treated to an interview in the beginning before transitioning into her stripping nude to show off her body. Afterward, we get a couple of vanilla sex scenes. It's nothing you haven't seen before playing it pretty safe which is to be expected here. Now one major issue I have with this film is the overly bloated pacing. I'm aware that debut films sometimes have a longer than average runtime but this one clocks in at a whopping three hours and fifty minutes. That's just absurd.

It's especially worse considering no penetration occurs until eighty minutes in. Terrible pacing aside, the sex scenes at least aren't too bad. There are three overall with a decent variety of positions between them and real cumshots to boot. Now performance-wise, I can't say much honestly. You can tell she's a little nervous and appears rather stiff at times. Regardless, it's difficult to gauge much off of a debut film. Lastly, we have the production values which are average at best. I already lamented the runtime and the other aspects are slightly mixed. The camerawork is mostly decent but there's a minor distorted fisheye effect in the last scene that can be mildly irritating. I do wanna highlight the white dress she wears in the 2nd sex scene as it's pretty sexy. But overall it's a pretty forgettable watch. It's an okay at best introduction to Shio Asami but the awful pacing really drags it down with some middling action and production values.

Next up we have her second release which surprise surprise is entirely vanilla as is tradition with debuts. It's about as straightforward as you can get as there's no plot whatsoever and instead just consists of three nondescript sex scenes. There's some semblance of a theme to the scenes but it's pretty light such as one being mostly POV and another featuring some heavy use of lotion. I hate to say it but I really only cared for one scene here and it's the last one. The first one with the focus on POV is hampered by the camerawork unfortunately as it's mainly shot via a handheld camera making use of some static angles which aren't ideal here. It's not all bad but it really would've benefited from having a dedicated cameraman.

I wasn't too keen on the second scene either due to the messy, goopy lotion play. They're just constantly pouring lotion all over her and I'm just not a fan of it personally. The lighting isn't bad for it at least but it's not enough to win me over. The last scene is by far the best but it's not a high bar to cross admittedly. It's nothing fancy but I liked the stockings she wears as well as the exceptional lighting setup. It also features the best position variety including some nice amazon. There's also a brief blowjob scene but it's very forgettable and ends in a likely fake cumshot. Her performance isn't anything special either with the final result being a pretty underwhelming second film. I say don't waste your time on this one and wait for something a bit more interesting.

We're two videos deep into Shio Asami but nothing has really clicked yet. Will this film finally get the ball rolling or be another dud? This one at least has a central theme so that's a plus. It centers around Shio in a variety of different scenarios where her huge tits are very prominent catching the attention of random guys. A few examples include her working as a masseuse and a teacher. I'm a big fan of this theme as I love the eyecandy factor of seeing big ol' titties in tight clothing. Unfortunately, some of the scenarios are half-baked such as one where she's playing your girlfriend while wearing an oversized t-shirt. This leads me to the action which isn't bad but certainly leaves something to be desired. It consists of two sex scenes, a blowjob scene, a paizuri scene, and a titty-fondling scene at the start. That particular scene is frustrating as she sports a tight sleeveless sweater with her bazooka nipples poking through and it ultimately goes nowhere.

The blowjob scene is forgettable and the tittyfuck scene is decent but nothing too amazing. The teacher sex scene is okay but we don't get to see her tits nearly enough. The last sex scene is by far the best as strikes a great balance of clothed sex while still getting to see her tits. Here comes negative though sadly as I have to harp on her acting. Her performance here is quite lousy. She offers up little enthusiasm with very weak facial expressions. Shio is definitely not beating the lazy big titty performer stereotype. It's still early though so hopefully she can improve. The production values are decent across the board but the pacing could've been better as the pacing is a little off. The teacher scene in particular takes up too much runtime and drags on. In the end, I'd say this is her best film yet but that's a super low bar to cross. It's decent but man does it leave a lot of potential on the table and could've been something far greater.

NTR is far from my cup of tea but I'll give this a fair shot regardless. The premise is a little odd with Shio being asked by her husband's best friend to play the role of his girlfriend after he lied to his parents about having a girlfriend that he is thinking of marrying. She agrees to it at first thinking nothing of it but she soon develops feelings toward him as they begin having sex. Overall I didn't care for this setup really at all. Maybe some risk would've made things better but I just don't like cheating/NTR plots all that much. It doesn't help that Shio's performance is incredibly lackluster. I'm not an NTR expert but I believe you should be showing some level of passion and emotion but Shio does neither. I know she's new but still, she displays very little energy whatsoever.

It's just hard to get invested in the plot with such an underwhelming performance. At least the production values fare much better. The biggest positive has to be the lighting with its excellent use of spotlights to effectively showcase her tits. The camerawork is mostly on point too although there were a few wonky angles from time to time. Now we have the action which consists of three sex scenes and a painfully lame solo masturbation scene. Just forget about that one. The sex scenes though are pretty solid. I wasn't a fan of her keeping her bra on though during the first sex scene but other than that I got no major complaints. I didn't enjoy the theme overall but the production values and decent action make it an okay watch. She just needs to work on her acting.

We've arrived at her latest video now as of this writing. Will she go out with a bang? Let's find out. The premise centers around a man who is feeling frustrated at his job and needs to let loose a little bit so he calls up a sex worker. Much to his surprise, she ends up being the conceited secretary at his work. She begrudgingly accepts but doesn't allow penetration at first. Eventually, she caves in and they have full intercourse. They then proceed to fuck a couple more times throughout. I personally found this setup to be decent but nothing too noteworthy. One reason it doesn't stand out that much is her once again disappointing acting. I understand that she's supposed to be standoff-ish and distant but even then there's just zero passion or enthusiasm from her whatsoever.

Couple this with some very dull facial expressions as well as low engagement and you've got a really lifeless performance sadly. With the biggest negative out of the way, let's discuss the action. It features three sex scenes and an outercourse/blowjob scene. As a whole, the action is just average at best. The pacing is good and keeps the film going without dragging in any spots. The position variety is fine too but the cumshots and overall intensity are lacking. This is all capped off with some solid production values. The lighting in particular is varied and accents her reasonably well. The camerawork isn't bad either but has a few wonky angles from time to time. DLDSS-361 isn't quite a bang but is servicable. A better performance could've really elevated this.
