Fried Chikan's Personal Top Ten JAV Titles Revisited

It’s been over 2 years since I joined ZENRA. It’s been a pleasure to write about JAV and for all you JAV fans out there. After all this time I want to revisit my first ever article “Fried Chikan's Personal Top Ten JAV Titles”. A piece I made to highlight my favorite titles and give a piece of what my taste is like. After joining ZENRA I’ve watched a lot more smut; bad, good, and great. Now with more time, more understanding of my new tastes, and a bit better writing ability I want to come back with my new favorites list. 

You can see my first list here. Looking back I really just picked my favorite titles at the time while trying to pick out videos that showed off some of my tastes. Like that sweaty sex title with Hatsune Minori or that ass title with Yuu Shinoda. Things I still very much like. However newer titles have taken their spot. Now let’s see what made the new list; what got cut and what stayed on. This is the best of the best. JAV titles I consider masterpieces of porn or my absolute favorites. Starting us off and still on the list is Aki Sasaki’s fantastic slutty teacher title. Still hands down my favorite title from Aki. For those that don’t know Aki was a milf type actress active around the mid-2010s. Another returning title from the last list is Airi Suzumura and her Endless Sex title. A great series from Prestige, an underrated studio I think compared to some of the other exclusive studios. The next title stars another all timer fave for me and that is Iori Kogawa. The long time SOD actress finally called it a career in 2022 but not after leaving a long and fruitful career. She’s probably my all time favorite actress. I have tons of titles from her. Thanks to her pretty girl next door looks, a fine slender figure, great performing all around, and one set of ultra-wide hips. Of all of her videos this is her most complete title. It shows off her acting skills, features a fun plot, and has steamy sex. A great title all over and a good intro to JAV and Iori. 

It’s also a great example of a JAV title needing a feature length runtime to tell a story. The plot is about Iori swapping bodies with another man. A classic story told well with her acting and body language. Iori plays the rough and coarse younger man well. The plot starts with her exploring her new found sexuality. Later on when she gets frustrated she goes out for some hate sex with random men. Finally we get a tender sex scene with her original body swapper. The hate/frustrating sex scene gets my highlight. You can really see Iori trying to work out her frustrations though sex in that scene and it makes it all even hotter. If you like plot in your porn then this is essential viewing.

Ah Beauty Venus. A special series where the biggest makers in porn come together and pair up some of their biggest stars for a star studded threesome. The modern BV titles have been better than it ever was and it started with BV 5. S1, Idea Pocket, and Premium team up and give us Arina Hashimoto (now Arina Arata), Minami Aizawa, and Aika Yamagishi. Lots of group sex titles in JAV are rightly criticized for lacking in girl on girl action. Not in Beauty Venus. These girls are A-OK with girl on girl. Exclusive actresses doing girl on girl is uncommon, them doing it with another star actress is rare, them doing it very well is very rare. This has made the BV series a must watch occasion. Whenever the next entry appears, I’ll be there to hype it up. It’s worth it people.

More studio collabs next and it’s with Premium and mature maker Madonna. Premium does quite a few studio collabs, many of them great. This stars Aika and Kana Mito an older looking woman with a petite frame and a very adorable face. Not many cute Milfs around but Kana is one of the few. She and Aika anchor this plot heavy title with their great acting. Two women who many not be the bustiest or curviest around but make up for it with their charisma and skills in bed. Moving on we get to Idea Pocket’s fantastic Kissing Tutor series starring the beautiful Karen Kaede. The series is simple as can be. A tutor motivating a student with their soft lips and wet tongue. A lighter hearted series with sweet and tender sex that’s vanilla and pretty straight forward. Simple but high quality. I’m a sucker for high quality smut. Well-made videos, shot professionally with great lighting and coloring; all of which this series is. This has become Idea Pocket’s best series right now in my opinion with this video being the best of them all. Our video stars the fantastic Karen Kaede. What a shame she retired so soon; this was one of her best titles. She really turned my head with her performance here.

Aika’s third appearance on my list. She really has sky rocketed onto my favorite actresses of all time. This being a solo title that is all just for her. This video shares a lot of similarities like out last one. It even shares the same set up like our last video. A trip to a traditional inn expect both parties are raring to have a go at each other from the start. It stars an actress that is gorgeous but not the most heavy set. Honorable Mentions

Just off the cutting board was SOE-491, one of the rare team ups between Akiho Yoshizawa and Yuma Asami. These two superstars ran JAV during the late 2000’s to early 2010’s. This team up was fantastic the only thing it was missing was girl on girl play between the two A listers. If we got that it would have boosted this from a 9/10 to an 11/10. Still a must watch for fans of either of these women. I only just barely took it off the list.

I also left off PRVR-029 a VR title because it’s a VR title and not everyone is into it. It is the best VR video I’ve ever seen though. Aika and Yuki is VR goodness with lots of girl on girl action. It’s on par with the best western VR I’ve seen. Finally I kept off IPZ-561 with Minori Hatsune and Chika Arimura. A fantastic light hearted femdom title with great interplay between the two leads. Minori being somewhere in my top 20 all time. That ends us for today. I had to leave lots more videos out. I purposefully left off my favorite 2022 videos to see if they have staying power later on.

Since starting ZENRA my tastes have changed a bit and I’ve become more conscious of it too. Much more into petite and slender women with nice butts of all sizes. However I value performing and attitude over looks and body. Maybe I’ll revisit this again in the future. There’s so much good JAV out there.
