Eightman Brings Back A Fan Favorite After A Month Of Teasing

As most of you are aware by now, in the recent months, one of the industry’s most prominent talent agency Eightman had hyped up a particular actress. Sticking to their conventional tactic, the agency had teased what looks like some behind-the-scene pics from a photoshoot leaving fans perplexed over the identity of the mystery girl. The nature of the photos that the agency has released seem quite vague and it is rather impossible to discern the actress, but JAV rumor mill are inclined towards a different opinion, they believe it is Rara Anzai.

With the promotion, Eightman has been rigorously testing the waters. According to the agency's tweet that they would reveal the actress's identity by April 24th, it is highly likely that it is a one-time photoshoot with some weekly publication, as it is quite uncanny for her former studio S1 to release a title on the 24th of the month, since most of their releases are reserved for Tuesdays. 

While the photos bore a striking resemblance to Rara, a particular blogger reinforced the claim that it was indeed the actress. In particular he managed to trace out certain features like a mole and a birth mark, that are unique to the actress based on the images that were released. Since most of the readers are aware by now that Rara has been away from filming AVs for a little over a year now, this sudden photoshoot is like a breath of fresh air for her fans. However, speculations over her career still linger, and fans are uncertain over the fact of Rara making a comeback, whether she chooses to stick with her former employer S1 or has a change of heart.

Weekly Post has decided to offer Rara two consecutive features in their photobook which will be issued in two installments over the course of multiple weeks. For the time being, fans may enjoy the first installment, which was released on April 24th, and the second feature is expected to be released on the 8th of next month. Additionally, there is also speculations of another release planned for May 22nd, fingers point to a JAV release.

In the AV industry, it has been an ongoing trend of talent agencies to hype up their their models prior to a comeback. It is done to create considerable hype and expectation, keeping fans engaged and intrigued. Eightman is no exception in this sense. Through the years, the agency has gained a reputation for teasing actresses early on, and their tactics seem to be working fairly well.

The intrigue and expectation around Rara's return demonstrates her popularity as an actress. This 24 Year Old Makes A Surprise Appearance On Twitter

April 24th was collectively a great day for all AV enthusiasts. Not just limited to the the fans of Rara Anzai, the day also brought exciting news for the fans of AV darling Ruka Inaba. Out of nowhere, the 23 year old made a surprise appearance on Twitter, startling her industry friends and colleagues alike. On record, this is Ruka’s first comeback after the actress had decided to take a voluntary retirement from the industry earlier in October last year, following a successful stint of three years in which she had become widely adored by her fans for her cutesy features that resembled one of a coming-of-age girl and her slender frame that accommodated those busty H-cup breasts.

"My name is Ruka Inaba! I have decided to restart Twitter and Instagram! I'll put the insta link in the tweet I'm not returning to porn, only social networking for now! I will be promoting my past works, posting photos and reminiscing! I'm starting from scratch again, please follow me" stated the actress in her comeback tweet.

As per her JAVwiki bio, Ruka made her debut in March 2019 with E-Body studio as a prime H-cup. In her stint of 3 years she was a frequent feature in movies by studios like Moodyz and Fitch and had primarily stuck to doing lesbian scenes by the end of her career. Her recent comeback tweet revealed that for the time being, she intends to be limited to social media. Furthermore, she is planning to upload pictures from the past year when she was out of action, not filming JAVs in particular

It's worth noting that in the meantime, Ruka had been providing her exclusive services to clients in a certain Club Toronoana in Tokyo’s suburb Aoyama during her time away from the industry. This speaks to the versatility of adult film actresses, who often have to augment their income through various means.

While Ruka stated that she is not planning to return to filming anytime soon, she may reconsider given the overwhelming response she has received from her fans. It is highly astonishing how she managed to garner around 10k followers in just a span of days. Ruka's comeback is part of a larger trend in the industry, with other retired actresses such as Rara Anzai also making a return. Popular Japanese Game Franchise Rakes In AV Veteran 

On April 20th, prior to the consecutive comebacks of Ruka and Rara, Like a Dragon, the renowned Japanese video game franchise, announced the five finalists for their forthcoming game in the franchise, slated to be released later this year. The revelation was made by the studio's head Masayoshi Yokoyama during a YouTube livestream, and fans of the series seem ecstatic.

Among the finalists is popular YouTuber, Kson, who apparently is a self proclaimed fan of the franchise. But since we are an AV publication, we will stick to our forte. The highlight of the event was certainly our AV darling Ai Sayama, who made it to the final round and as a part of the deal is set to appear as a traditional bar hostess which will likely be overseen by the game's protagonist as part of the storyline.

As rewarding as it may sound, it was no easy feat for the 34 year old to make it to the final round. As per reports, she had to go through several rounds that judged these talents on certain aspects like voice acting, among other things. Another prominent AV actress Remu Suzumori (who we mention later in this column) also made it to the Top 10, only to get evicted in the final round. A certain sect of fans felt that Remu should have been one of the finalists referencing her features that resemble of a gaming character, I couldn’t agree more!

"Like A Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name (Ryu ga Gotoku 7: Gaiden) Successful candidates for the live cabaret audition! As a result of the final screening, the following 5 people have passed the audition, Ayu, Ai Kaname, Ms. Kson, Ai Sayama, Kokoro Nakayama. The "Grand Prix" will be announced along with the roles after the official announcement of "Ryu ga Gotoku 8"", the studio confirmed the finalists from it's official handle.

Other finalists who were selected include Ai Kaname and Kokoro Nakayama. In the past few months, the individuals were put through a rigorous vetting process and will now go on to appear in the game’s future iteration. One of the five lucky finalists will also get to work on the next installment, Ryu Ga Gotoku 8, which is set to be released next year. While Ai is a possibility, the needle tends to point towards the popular YouTuber Kson, who has amassed a sizable fanbase.

The makers of the game stated that this was the final audition of its kind, and from here onwards, only private auditions will take place for the future franchises. Like I mentioned, fans are biased towards Kson, considering her huge social media following. However, some feel that being an underdog, Ai Sayama should be crowned as the winner, if at all that happens, it'd be back to back AV stars featuring in the game franchise. Aside from being a finalist, Ai is also involved with some of her side quests, in particular performing for her newly formed girl band BlackDiamond (which I gave a special mention to in my previous column) and appearing in AVs.

Ryu Ga Gotoku: Gaiden, the upcoming title, is set to be a spin-off of the Like a Dragon (formerly known as Yakuza) video game franchise, revealed as a side story and will precede the Like a Dragon 8 set for release next year.

The selection of the finalists has generated a lot of buzz among fans of the game, and it will be interesting to see how they perform in the upcoming installment. Ryu Ga Gotoku has a devoted following, and the studio is known for delivering immersive gaming experiences that players all around the world enjoy. As the game's release date approaches, fans can't wait to get their hands on it and immerse themselves in the latest chapter of the Ryu Ga Gotoku universe. The announcement of the finalists has further heightened the anticipation, and it will be interesting to see how the game fares in the market when it is ultimately released later this year.

25 Year Old  AV Darling Turns A Year Older In JAV Years

So, who's up next?, our very own Remu-san, this 25 year old cutie who is linked with AV talent agency TPowers, has quickly made a name for herself in the adult business spanning four years. For the uninitiated, much like Ruka Inaba (one of the actress mentioned in the column), Remu too made her debut in JAV’s class of 2019 at the mere age of 21 under the banner of Prestige. It was certainly her beauty and girlish charms that caught the attention of the Prestige bosses. The studio is really fortunate to have found such an immaculate talent.

Most readers are unaware of this fact but prior to her starting her career in the adult industry, Remu used to work as a nurse in some medical facility in the country’s Mie prefecture. I’m certain that this particular experience has likely influenced her desire to please her fans and provide them with the best possible experience. However, this column isn’t about us scraping her past life. Remu recently celebrated her fourth year in the industry with a one-day event held at the famous cabaret club Red Dragon in Roppongi. "Today marks four years since my debut. Thank you so much to everyone who has always supported me. I will continue to do my best at my own pace, so please take care of me in my 5th year!" tweeted the Prestige talent in occassion of her anniversary.

Remu unveiled her photobook "Romantics," made in collaboration with her studio Prestige, at the event. To alert the readers, the pre-orders of the photobook has already begun, and the official release is set for 5th May. Don't  forget to book or get your hands on it, when it releases. The 25 year old broke the news of her anniversary and photobook launch over Twitter. She thanked her supporters for their support and stated that she intends to move at her own pace from here onwards.

I believe her fans should give her sufficient time to experiment and venture into newer territories. The actress has already proven her mettle by organizing her photo exhibitions in multiple cities last year, which was a some sort of a side quest besides her usual AV filming. This demonstrates Remu's talent as well as her creativity and willingness to take up challenges.

The fact that nearly 2 million people viewed Remu's anniversary tweet and 25 thousand liked it indicates the extent of her fandom. Undoubtedly, her fame is growing day by day. As her fans eagerly await a new project from her, I’m of this believe that she’d soon be counted in the likes of AV veterans like Yua Mikami and Kirara Asuka, if not surpass them in popularity.

Remu's success may be attributed not only to her ability and beauty, but also to the backing of her studio Prestige and Tpowers. Tpowers is a Japanese talent agency that represents an array of performers such as actors, actresses, models, and others. The agency has assisted Remu in reaching new heights and providing her with the necessary support to showcase her talent to the rest of the world.

The 25 year old is undoubtedly the next big sensation in the Japanese AV industry, and her growing popularity stands testament to it. She has proven her talent and creativity, and her fans eagerly await her next project.
