It feels fitting for an AV fan to be overwhelmed with the diaspora of actresses one has at its disposal, convincing one to come up with weird comparisons like that of a charcuterie platter wherein one gets to devour a selection of meats, cheese, and other appetizers. The comparison however cracks a funnybone, but the plethora of performers that operate under the AV umbrella that if one were to keep a record of every single actress in the industry, things would soon get out of hand. However, the actress this column pertains to is just a needle in the haystack, indeed a very rare needle. In layman's terms, a very rare breed of actress, that deserves the tag of an 'industry veteran' and has rightfully earned it with an established track record of around fifteen hundred JAVs, a figure that might give most of the newbies a hard time to wrap their brain around. While we wonder at actresses who manage to surpass that ten-year mark, the kind of feat Hibiki Otsuki has achieved needs a significant mention whenever some scholar sits to pen down a book on the adult industry.

Having recently stepped foot onto her 15th year in the business, the TPower's talent kept it short but simple with a couple of sentences, passing on heartfelt regards to her fans who wished her on the day. Seems as if the actress might have scored a couple of presents from her girl gang who were on the guest list of the party.

Although it's quite disheartening to not have access to pictures from the party, sooner or later the fans couldn't stop gushing at these 'vacay pictures' Hibiki posted on her gram the following day. The actress caught up with her industry pals Mary Tachibana and Naruse Kokomi at an oriental resort near Shonan and seemed too caught up with the offerings, a barbeque at the terrace, champagne, outdoor camping and what not. This clip of the girl gang sailing on a makeshift banana boat certainly gives off such minion vibes, if one gets the reference. It's undeniable that the group didn't have a fun outing. Irrespective of the fact, they might've missed out on Yui Hatano, as she was busy shooting an AV assignment given it has been quite rare to spot them apart, lately!

Yua Mikami Walks The Ramp At Kansai Fashion Week

Former SKB48 idol, Yua Mikami seems too caught up promoting her clothing line Mistress that she launched back in late 2019 inspired by a similar venture from her close friend, Kirara Asuka (we covered that in an earlier column) A casual scroll through her Twitter would make one form an opinion that the new venture is presumably keeping the actress on her toes. What started as a run-of-the-mill experiment with 'Princess Peach' back in 2015, the work subsequently skyrocketed the adult performer into a celebrity of some sort in the adult business but lately, the actress has managed to keep herself away from the shadows of AV. Rather, Yua seems to be hell-bent on pushing her clothing venture into the mainstream narrative.

The S1 exclusive recently took the stage to showcase her latest collection at Kansai Fashion Show. On the helm, were signature pieces from the clothing line's latest collection, certainly evident from a swipe through the Instagram post-Yua uploaded having wrapped up the event. Striking a pose for the camera alongside a slew of models, the SSNI-674 actress, in caption, described her foremost event on the ramp to be overwhelming of sorts and passed on her heartfelt wishes to the models who lent a hand in making the fashion show a huge success. Having donned the fashion designer hat recently, the actress might've felt overwhelmed finding herself on the other side of the ramp but managed quite well to put up a straight face. On the contrary, she oozed confidence while walking the ramp as if it were her daily bread and butter. Alas! she had the fans bowled over with this showstopper, that closed the deal for quite a few.

The AV celebrity walked out the ramp on multiple occasions as she had partnered with a renowned label to showcase their closet during the event, as well. Later on, via her Instagram, Yua spilled a few beans on her electrifying performance on the ramp crediting it solely to the gesture made by her dear friend, Kirara Asuka who happened to fly out to Osaka and surprise the birthday girl with a customized cake embellished with her name and a heartfelt message. Before the fashion show, Yua had been making headlines with the launch of her stylebook titled 'Miss' (we seem to have mentioned this in an earlier column). The stylebook offers a personal testimony of her journey in the adult industry and incorporates elements ranging from makeup, gravure, and her musings about mental health. She has gone on to call it an 'open book' about her life multiple times during the release event. I certainly hope it sticks to that claim. Although I could vouch for that now that she has donned a couple more hats and has quite a few things going on in her life at present that might feel too exhaustive, the time isn't far when her fans find out the fact that Yua's exit from the adult business seems inevitable shortly.

Ruru Mishiro Set To Debut For Kawaii Next Month

Kawaii has drastically upped its recruitment game in the recent past. Certainly living up to their name by raking in some really 'kawaii' talents, by industry standards. The AV maker closed a deal on paper for a 21-year-old cutie, touted to be Ruru Mishiro scheduled to usher into the business with a batch of actresses debuting next month.

Kana Kusakabe Makes Appearance Under A New Banner

I've had a desire to cover this actress ever since she made her debut back in early 2019 with SOD. Fast forward to 2022, on record, Kana Kusakabe has pledged exclusivity to multiple studios and left them three times in a row just in a span of a couple of years. The Tokyo based actress who was the talk of town back in March 2019 when SOD started teasing her, in line with their genius marketing campaigns centered around the ideology of 'former employee turned adult performer ', now seems to be headed for Madonna. With a track record that surpasses many of it's adversaries, over years the studio has positioned itself in the the top tiers of the AV business, while I link up of this sort had the fans speculating. After quite the hide and seek, Kana ultimately broke the news over a tweet as she was quoted saying, 

"From this month, I will be exclusive to Madonna. I hope you will enjoy seeing me as an adult who is a little different from before through my work. I will continue to do my best while enjoying myself, so please continue to support me in the future"

Most of her fans knew they had it coming as the move transpired. A transition to Madonna seemed inevitable, backing up the actress's failed stint earlier at reviving her career with the hardcore adult label Attackers as a fan aptly mentioned, "It is a label where AV stars go to end their career." In fact, the running debate among the close confines of those adult boards remained, Kana's decision to abandon her former employer Moodyz, the studio that skyrocketed the actress to fame for Attackers seemed a grave mistake on Kana's part. Nanami Kawakami Takes A Voluntary Break

Nanami Kawakami will now focus on acting at work, and live in private with a new life. The expected date of birth is January, so from next year, I will be staging up again both public and private. The completion of Nana Kawakami's documentary film "I took off my shoes" has been postponed for a year! I've been filming as an AV actress for a year before retiring as a stripper, but with the concept of taking pictures of Nanami Kawakami, I thought I'd like to shoot her in a film. Having justifiable engagement, the tweet attracted significant industry attention. Among a barrage of fans wishing the actress on her resurgence, renowned figures & Nanami's close affiliates from the industry including Anri Okita, Akari Mitani, Hibiki Otsuki, Sora Shiina and an innumerable few congratulated the actress. The Ebisu Muscats idol who recently left the group as the current generation disbanded earlier on August 13, had previously dropped hints on her exclusion from the adult business via an interview during a photo exhibition that paid homage to the actress last month in collaboration with the acclaimed photographer Naoko Sato. Although, not much has been revealed yet pertaining to the documentary, one could expect to see some behind the scenes stills from Nanami's perspective and the fixtures that summed up most of her daily life as an adult actress and hostess in the final days of her career. Taking cues from the post shared earlier on the actress's Instagram, fans awaiting the documentary on her life should consider it to be a parting message. While the pregnancy alone might seal the deal, the getting hitched part finally hits a nail to the coffin for the fans firm to see her future propositions to feature in JAV.
