Riana Yuzuki Confirms Retirement Rumor
AV agency DUO Entertainment is in the news lately for their affiliation with the talented Riana Yuzuki, the 25 year old actress who announced her retirement from JAV earlier this February. This single headline has sparked a lot of speculation around Riana's future in the industry and the impact this might have on her releases for the year.
"I'm sorry to inform you that Riana Yuzuki will retire from adult films by the end of March. Even though she will no longer be active as an actress, she will continue to release her works, so please continue to support Riana Yuzuki. And lastly, I will be appearing in Area 66 for the first time in a long time." the actress was quoted as saying in the published tweet
However, fans of the actress can rest assured as her contract ending won't affect her releases in any way. Soon to be retired from the industry, Riana has already been booked to do a couple of fan photoshoots in Area 66 studio as she cited in her statement.
Though a retirement news never cheered up fans. Among those there were couple few who praised her on taking up acting while the industry is facing a work shortage, "Thank you for continuing your acting career in this day and age. It's a shame that you're retiring, but I'm sure you've given it a lot of thought, and I wish you a happy life ahead." to which Riana replied with gratitude, acknowledging the support of her fans. While most of our readers must have skipped on her debut which wasn’t really hyped of that sort as with SOD or some other renowned studios prefer. For those still living under the rocks and might prefer some background on the girl, the 25 year old actress made her debut in June 2019 and has worked consecutively under several banners like Premium, KMP and Honchu, to name a few. In the short period, she managed to establish herself as one of the most talented and sought-after actresses in the industry.
Despite the challenges faced by the adult entertainment industry in the recent past and considering Riana has had a bumpy trajectory, it's rather admirable how she has continued to thrive and built a loyal fan base, thanks to her Twitter. Her followers currently sit at around 62k, that is not even taking into account her followers from other social platforms. While she doesn’t have a contract as such considering she was freelancer for the majority of her time in the industry, it will be fascinating to see what the future holds for Riana and the opportunities that will stack up in the near future. Eventhough this headline may sound like a setback for the 25 year old, it could prove beneficial for her to redeem herself and make the best of the newfound freedom. She might as well try her hands on Fantia as most have been hopping on that bandwagon lately.

SOD Exclusive Lifts The Curtain On Her Retirement
This headline caught me off guard when I learned that Rin Suzune, the SOD affiliated actress who has been an exclusive since her debut in April 2022, is also planning to retire from the industry. Like most SOD films, correction 'debut SOD films' have some sort of characteristics that make them overwhelming or out of the box, per se. One such SOD title, STARS-536 was directed by three directors and to my knowledge was Rin’s debut JAV. Since then, Rin has starred under a handful of JAVs from the same banner. However, her stance seems differed as of now, after a successful career, Rin has decided to step down from the industry and retire. While this was short and sweet tale it’s nothing extraordinary.
"This time, Rin Suzune will hold an industry graduation event at a female employee bar on 3/4 (Sat) SODLAND 3/11 (Sat). At this event, the activities as Rin Suzune will end, and there will be no more opportunities to meet everyone on the front stage. It's very sad though. The details of the event will be announced within a few days at the current final adjustment stage. I have prepared a lot of thought and prepared, such as Olishan and limited goods. One year after my debut, I have a lot to tell you. Please listen to your last selfishness. I want to express my gratitude directly, so please come and see me. I'll be waiting."
To mark her retirement from the industry, two consecutive events will be held in the following month. As per the info I’ve collected from her Twitter, it’s likely that the first event will be held at SOD Land, it is gonna be of some sort to celebrate the SOD girl for her contributions to the industry. The second event however will be held at a girl bar, and Rin took to Twitter to announce that she has designed the menu for this event, like handpicked every single item that goes in the menu. While the menu is taken care of I was surprised by how she didn’t give it a thought to run both the events at SOD land, since ofcourse she’s a SOD girl.
The 28 year old AV star admitted being apprehensive about the turnout when tweeting about her retirement occasion, "I hope the event goes well. It's only been a day or two since I announced it, but I'm so nervous my heart can't take it. I wonder if there will be many reservations. I hope it will be a success because this is the first time I've thought about the menu and I've made it so that people from far away can also enjoy the event and get the goods." She has thanked her followers for their support throughout her career and looks forward to the next stage.
When contacted for confirmation by a fan, Rin stated that she had really retired. The 28 year old actress has opted to leave the industry and focus on other elements of her life, however we don't know what those ‘elements’ could be. Rin's supporters expressed their regret at her retirement while also wishing her the best in her future undertakings.
Despite being one of the most recent retirees, she isn't that big of deal for SOD. Without being outright blunt, I could simply state that SOD did not lose a dime on her when she left. That being said, I don't see this 28-year-old making a comeback anytime soon. She reminded me of those girls who drop out of college to try their hands at AV as a run of the mill experiment but don't stay on for very long. Fortunately, for girls like her, a studio like SOD is a great saviour.
While there's no disputing that her departure from the adult industry is a watershed event for the studio, her contributions to SOD are way more than one could count in a single hand. Rin will be remembered as a talented actress who left an indelible mark on the adult business. I'm glad her followers will be able to say their final goodbyes at her retirement event in March, which will undoubtedly be a worthy homage to her career.

Former Moodyz Idol Pulls The Plug On Her Career
If you remember this JAV jacket from early 2019 of a plain-jane girl with her boobs poking out of her skimpy top as she stares like a bambi beneath those big oval glasses towards the camera, you perhaps got the gist of this headline and might just suffer a little heartbreak by the end of this column, don't blame me for not warning you. The Japanese AV business, like most of her admirers, was taken aback when Kishi Nagomi announced her retirement earlier this month. Kishi, who was formerly associated with the LIGHT agency, made her debut with Moodyz and has remained exclusive since September 2021. The 25-year-old announced her resignation on Twitter, and her tweet had upwards of 75,000 views, which I'm sure left an impression.
"As of today, Kazumi Kishi has retired as an adult film actress. It has been one year and four months since my debut, and I can only express my gratitude for the many experiences I have had in such a short time. I am grateful to the people at the office, the makers, the directors, the staff, and everyone who supported me. Thank you very much! Until we meet again!"
Her foremost JAV was billed as a "glasses-wearing J-cup amateur with large tits" by Moodyz at the time, and she was expected to make a great impression in the industry, which was understandable given the mass appeal that huge udders would offer. To give you a sense of her assets, her tits are so huge that it even baffled the trustworthy JAVDatabase, so they went ahead and accommodated both sizes in the breast size column, thereby confusing a decent chunk of us JAV lovers. Those intentions, however, were cut short just a year and four months after her debut by her unexpected retirement announcement. Her followers, who were looking forward to seeing more of her on Fanza, were undoubtedly taken aback by her unexpected change of heart.
"To all of you who, in 2022, saw even a little bit of Kishiwasui! To everyone who got involved! Thank you very much! We look forward to working with you again next year! I'm going to spend this year in a place with much richer nature. I want to emigrate..."
Take, for example, a tweet from December of last year, in which the 25-year-old expressed her excitement about shooting more works in the future, but it appears that this is no longer the case. Within a short period of time, something altered her mind. Kishi’s sudden retirement is still unclear, and she has made no additional statements about it. Meanwhile, her fans are left in the dark.
The Japanese AV business is recognised for its fast-paced and ever-changing landscape, with new artists making their debut every year and leaving at twice the speed. While Kishi's retirement is disappointing for her admirers, it is not uncommon for adult actors to quit the industry after a short while, especially if it becomes more difficult to get work post having turned freelance. Kishi's retirement is one example of an actress struggling to manage in the industry, and it illustrates the problems faced by people in the adult entertainment industry, as well as raising questions about the constraints and expectations placed on these actresses.

Maria Aizawa Discreetly Exits The Industry
Maria Aizawa, not to be mistaken with veteran adult actress Maria Ozawa, albeit strangely both are former now because the Maria recently altered her bio to 'a former AV actress,' which is more than enough to crush her fans' hearts and signify that she'd retired. Though the now-retired AV star did not issue a formal statement, a tweet from early January this year is the closest thing to one, in which the actress acknowledges her retirement and thanks her former colleagues and various affiliations
"Thank you to all the kind brothers who kept me guessing until the end, despite the happenings! All the staff were kind and I am very happy to work at E+ Shinagawa. I'm leaving but please continue to support"
She made waves in late 2017 when she severed relations with her then current association Alice Japan, with whom she had a dozen or so JAVs. There was no formal announcement from her studio’s part. It could be said that this particular move single-handedly marked the end of her career in the adult industry and left many fans wondering what she would be upto next. Maria isn't the kind of AV actress who prefers to remains active on her SNS so most fans rely on word of mouth and shooting an arrow in the dark to predict her past decisions, the last proper tweet she made is like months ago in which she acknowledged the fact that she had turned 28, I fact checked with JAVDatabase and found out it was indeed her birthday.
In fact two years have passed since her retirement and Maria has been relatively quiet, with no new releases or updates on her life. Like I said she is a very private person and likes to remain so. However, earlier this month a publication reported that Maria had updated her Twitter bio to reflect her new status as a "former adult actress." This was later confirmed by Maria herself, who tweeted that she had picked up work with a major Japanese retail brand. who knows she could be working in a discreet soapland somewhere in the country under the guise of a retail brand.
Despite this confirmation, it has been rather difficult for fans to know about Maria's retirement as she barely updates her Twitter account. Her lack of social media presence has left many fans wondering what she is up to and what her future holds.
While some fans are already distraught by Maria's departure from the adult industry, it is important to respect her decision and wish her the best in her new endeavors. If her claim is true than I’d say her work with the Japanese retail brand is a promising sign that she has moved on to new and exciting opportunities and is a promising sign that she has finally adapted to the subtleties of everyday life post retirement.
In conclusion, Maria's retirement from the adult industry and move to a new career path is a testament to the importance of being able to adapt and evolve in life. Her fans will always remember her for her contributions to the industry and will continue to support her in all her future endeavors. In my perspective, I could see her feature in a VR work before I could have learned of her retirement.
