Karen Asahina Is Back On Twitter After More Than A Year Now

Quick update for fans of Karen Asahina, after all the actress might have had her shadow ban lifted off of Twitter. For those still living under the rocks the C-more agency talent took to her Twitter after being away from it for close to an year now. For those eager to know, I haven't been able to unearth any specifics about her brief SNS sabbatical, but let me enlighten you all with a series of tweet she made subsequent to the comeback.

“I'm really sorry for not being able to tweet with sparkling tweets, even though I'm so happy to see everyone's replies for the first time in a long time I wanted to be a person who can give energy to everyone, but I'm getting farther and farther away from it.” On record she mentioned being happy for getting to witness the plethora of replies on her comeback tweet, which she accompanied with a weeping emoji certainly the response must have been overwhelming and got the actress all emotional

In what must have been her foremost tweets post her return, the actress looked almost unrecognisable sporting a blonde look in contrast to a darker shade of hair color she had flaunted earlier on Twitter before the sudden dissappearence.  "It's been a while. I've changed my look so much that I don't even know who I am anymore, but I'm getting by. Do you remember me?" Via her tweet, she attempted to survey her followers if they were able to recognise her subsequent to the hiatus

The 30 year old Moodyz debutante has come a long way from her early days in the industry, citing that she took help of cosmetic changes to up her game, also it could be one of those ways to stay relevant in the industry and get picked upon easily by producers and directors. Asahina mentioned to have transitioned through a major makeover.

"I've changed everything from the contact lenses, hair color, and even the editing app, so I'm already a different person on social media, and my hands are shaking because it's been the first time I've posted since last summer. my hands are trembling", sporting distinct contact lenses, hair color, and editing apps among a notable few that distinguish her from her past self, oh and boy did she feel nervous while typing this whole sequence mentioning how her hands trembled while typing her comeback tweet, this all was such a surreal experience for the actress.

The rest of the tweets are just Karen fussing over how she wasn’t able to accommodate all the support which in fact made her overwhelmed with emotions, "My emotions were all messed up, and I wanted to put them together in writing, but I couldn't. I'm sorry, those who have been supporting me for a long time, those who have been waiting for my update recently, thank you, I thought I would lose more followers if I hadn't logged in for more than half a year". I believe there must not have been any particular reason behind the SNS hiatus besides this simple theory that she must have chose to shut it down out of preference for her mental health, actresses do that and it’s nothing new. It’d have been a different thing if she was shadow-banned but her account doesn’t quite fit that narrative.

Oh and by the way, Karen has an up & running Instagram and also for those eager to keep up with her JAVs, there’s a recent lineup of releases scheduled by Moodyz & Pres in a time frame of just a month, her first work that drops on March has an NTR theme to it. While another Moodyz work that features her in a girl on girl scene as a lesbian, the latter will drop a month from now on.

Another SOD Actress Bites The Dust

It’s indeed a saddening affair for the fans of SOD to have realized the fact that Ren Sakura has announced to take voluntary exit from the industry. For the 21 year old who debuted earlier at the age of 19, it must have been nothing than a run of the mill fiasco, besides that I don’t really find a possible explanation for her to quit this early.

"Graduated from the industry Since I made my debut at SOD Seishun Jidai, I've shot 8 works, and it's been about a year and a half since I've done many things for the first time. Thank you very much to those who have been involved in even a little bit, and to those who have supported us I'm sorry for suddenly graduating without a chance to see you one last time." If I were to judge by her tweet, the 21 year old is contemplating shutting down her SNS in the near future so Instagram could be the only hope for her fans to monitor her social footprint. In her little time in the industry Ren didn’t foray into being a freelancer or transferring to a different agency or a studio for that matter, not totally abandoning the fact that she didn’t have such a thought during her stint.

In the last couple of months, a lot of these actresses who debuted with SOD’s youth label Sheisun Jidai have come to disassociate with the label and hence have ended up retiring, like you could refer to one of my previous columns. I wonder what must have been the hidden motive behind it. For a total eight works that she has done in her stint with the studio, majority were confined to a specific genre mostly catering to the schoolgirl theme, not saying that she didn’t have the oppurtunity to experiment with her works but I guess, she chose not to. In the meanwhile, Ren had released some VR works as per my knowledge.

In retrospect majority of her works came out during the pandemic when the overall sales of industry works were at an all time low, this could possibly have hindered her career growth spiralling into a retirement of a sort but now when things are recovering from the ruins and the industry is going through some sort of resurgence, it would have been wise for the actress to just stay for a few more months, feature in a few more AVs and just capitalize on the oppurtunities that would have come with JAVs new era.

To me it’s quite uncanny to digest the fact that she is supposed retire within months of her making a brief appearance on TV Saitama on behalf of her agency. Ren was joined by her fellow Bstar colleagues Marina Shiraishi among a handful few.

Faleno Girl Gets Promoted To Sub-Label Dahlia

Most of you might not even be aware that an actress with such a name exist but Maya Irata was recently inducted into the adult industry, it literally has not even been a year since her debut. For the uninitiated she made her debut in January 2023 under Faleno’s banner. You could perhaps make it out by her latest statement that everything is going well for her in the recent times, "Some of you may know me, but I'm Ritama from the third work Transferring to DAHLIA Please enjoy the lady's works. Thank you!" transitioning to being a full-time exclusive for their sub-brand Dahlia after shooting three movies with Faleno. This move makes a lot of sense for Irata, as she is a bit on the older side at 33 years old. It also solidifies Dahlia's current actress lineup even more, ensuring a bright future for both Irata and the mature AV maker.

Her debut AV hyped her up as an H-cup beauty, she looked sumptuous in that skimpy bright red bikini posing for the camera, her flaunting that slender frame in full view made it obvious for her fans that she had a background in yoga.

Her debut JAV with Dahlia comes under the studio’s usual moniker DLDSS-197 and I could say this on repeat, just by looking at the trailer that Dahlia has done one hell of a job at portraying the 33 year old as a succubus. Love how the studio chose to portray has a man eater, the way she licks of her male co stars in that close to a minute long trailer is just irresistible. The mature maker has surely put her talent of yoga to good use with Maya having gut wrenching sex in multiple positions. In addition, it seems as if she finally left her ban on facial AVs with the girl getting blasted with massive loads of cum multiple times in the full length of the trailer, her fans demanding a facial subsequent to having not witnesses one in her debut JAV could rest assured this one AV will certainly be a bang for the buck. Most would agree with me that it is a good way to start off her affiliation with the studio.

In addition to her AV work, Irata also shot for a photobook earlier this month with gravure publication Asahi Geino. This highlights her versatility and shows that she is capable of succeeding in various genres within the adult industry.

Faleno has took of the covers of her latest and what might be her last work with the affiliation. The teaser from the new work is currently doing the rounds on Twitter. For her newfound fans, this might be one of those deadlines to grab her work with the studio before she moves on to exclusively work with Dahlia.

Overall, it could be said that Maya is one of those actresses in the current Faleno roster to look out for. I could vouch that her future looks bright. Her debut has already made waves, and her transition to being a full-time exclusive for Dahlia will undoubtedly solidify her position as one of the most sought after in the industry. Fans can't wait to see what she has in store for them in the years to come.

Former Prestige Girl Set To Retire After A Decade

Fans of Riko Sato must be disheartened at this news. Umi Natsukawa formerly known as Riko Sato, announced her retirement over Twitter earlier this month, which will be effective from April 28th. For someone like a Riko who has been in the industry for over a decade now, having made her debut with Prestige in 2013 it is likely so that a decision like this was long overdue.

The 27 year old was affiliated to several studios throughout her career, initiating with several odd roles with Muosuzoku famous for it’s broccoli JAVs, she has went on to feature in numerous JAVs, including several in mature roles from Madonna. After the end of her affiliation with the Madonna, Riko faced a drastic downfall, which must have been hard for her to cope with. Her trajectory didn’t really take off post her moving to the namesake Umi Natsukawa, which she must have adopted in hopes of getting more work offers. Also wait!? I had no idea knew she was a comedian turned adult star. Some fans on the adultboard Scanlover claimed that she was a full time comedian before transitioning to AV and might entertain the idea of returning back to her standup comedy days as a post retirement career.

"I will completely retire from the AV industry on April 28, 2023! To everyone at Minez who supported Riko Sato. All-professionals who supported Umi Natsukawa. Everyone who was involved with me, Thank you very much." Sato's retirement announcement came with a heartfelt thanks to her agency colleagues, and she has since deleted most of her tweets. Her Twitter account is likely to be suspended post-retirement, her bio on the platform now reads "retires on 28th April." giving way to the fact.

It is not clear what Sato's future holds, and till this time, there is barely any indication of her plans beyond retiring from the AV industry. Her decision to leave the industry may be a fatal loss from her fans perspective, but it is understandable that she wants to move on to other things subsequent to having spent a decade or so in the industry. In retrospect, her contributions to the industry were quite noteworthy, and her fans are likely to remember her for the incredible performances she had during her career spanning ten years.

In conclusion, Riko Sato's retirement from the AV industry marks the end of an era. Her fans are hoping that she will find success in whatever she chooses to do next, and her future remains uncertain. However, her decision to move on should be respected, and her fans will always remember her contributions to the industry.
