JAV Sales Report - December 2024

Welcome to the December Sales Report. This is technically the final report for last year despite that this is released in 2025. It's lame even if it makes sense.

I must admit that I never had Dream Woman coming back on my 2025 bingo. It felt like the industry was more or less done with bukkake, which made me sad. Dream Woman is peak bukkake and seeing Moodyz bring it back is making me very hopeful. I’m not the Nana Yagi fan in the room but if you give me Ibuki Aoi, Nao Jinguji, or especially Himari, I’ll be quite happy to take a gander. Time will tell if they keep it going but considering they’re nice enough to remind us it’s entry 99 in the series, I’ll trust they have good plans for it.

So the cat’s out of the bag with Iyo and I can’t do her any more justice than this photo. Big boobs, big nips, can squirt milk out of them. Say what you want about her otherwise but that’s a W in my books. I think Madonna really needs to lean into this a bit more than they do because it’s the real selling point for her - the thing that makes her stand out from the crowd. Madonna’s roster is huge and they absolutely need this kind of stuff to keep people from blending in. Maybe we’ll get some fun videos when we get plot stuff, and honestly it’s unusual to not have the second video be a plot-based video. I went back and looked, it’s not unheard of but it certainly is rare, and maybe they just see her milk as an opportunity to milk. Either way though I’m not super thrilled to see it and hopefully next month will bring something better.

Moka’s entry in the famous Oppai series is the kind to make me look at someone I generally wouldn’t be interested in. I’ve actually not been keeping up with all the latest entries and it feels like I could do a week of new to me reviews with this series in mind. It would be an interesting way to try and compare them as I can not only reduce the variance between different actresses but also compare to some previous actresses I’ve seen in this series for the first time. It certainly looks good irrespective of whatever my opinion of Moka might be, and I know right now she seems wrong for the series. They’re so obsessed with fomo that they pick actresses like her instead of someone with boobs twice her size. I mean sure, she’s doing very well for herself, but maybe throw us big boob lovers a bone before I start calling you Noppai.

We all know just how incredibly popular the Squid Game video was, right? I mean, talk about taking a popular franchise and making something incredible, not to mention the impeccable timing of it. Is the porn as good as the real thing? Well, it’s got Waka Misono and Mizuki Yayoi in it who are both in the top 10 this month, so I’ll hazard a guess it is. Or maybe we can just look at our own media on it that you all seemed to love.

I can never really tell whether these spontaneous sex videos are good or not. On the one hand I’m always grateful that they’re doing it in some sort of random setting and utilizing it well. On the flip side things get awkward very quickly. The video often struggles when the action isn’t thought out very well. Ah right, we didn’t realize having to run around and not get caught in the dining room of a restaurant was going to be a mistake. Nozomi certainly brings some skills to the table but whether they’re good enough or not is hard to tell. I think overall this one looks to be on the weaker side but maybe I’m the wrong one and we’ll find out next month it was selling well.

I guess I’ll take the opportunity to talk about Mayuki while I have it because she’s up a whopping 51 spots to squeak into the top 25. I feel like this kind of video is super underwhelming because I know what both of them are capable of. Each of them has now done a Beauty Venus film so seeing something that just isn’t Beauty Venus is not where I want to be. Like let them kiss and cum swap and stuff, what’s the harm in it? It’s not like they don’t want to given what they’ve done so I mean, just make it happen already! I have a feeling people will like this duo again and it will do well but I’ll be damned if the screenshots don’t make me disappointed.

Everyone is abuzz with Kanna Seto which I mean, fair enough. She has the big kind of tits I love and it’s hard to go wrong with that. It seems like every month S1 just finds a new busty actress, they might as well call themselves Oppai now. But at any rate, I’ll be curious to see how her or Mayu Shino fare over the coming months to see if there’s some fomo popularity or there’s really something there. I’ve seen the largest praise for any recent debut with Kanna Seto but I also don’t trust most people to form good first opinions since they haven’t reviewed 200 debuts like I have.

Do you prefer them real or fake? That’s kind of the name of the game with the pair here. I think a lot of people know my strong preference for natural boobs so I’m on Team Tano for the moment. I must admit that Hikaru’s tits have been very divisive since the boobjob and I’m not convinced they were ever necessary. Then again, Yu Tano’s sagging L cups not only don’t bother me but make me giddy, so maybe I’m a bit outside the normal path. But hey, big tits are big and you can do no wrong with either.

I’ve always kind of wondered when other studios would start replicating the famous Wanz Factory series in various ways, and now we have it. It’s listed as unaffiliated with a series, though for how long is anyone’s guess. Instead of it being the bus it’s more of a home visit style but I think it overall still works out the same. Endure her technique and win sex as a reward. It’s good, I enjoy it, and I think you can do things a little bit different to make it enjoyable. One of the biggest complaints I have with the other series is how mid the sex is, and as much as I hate to say it, a bed would be nice. Hopefully Mio will do a good job and remind us all why she’s such a fan favourite.

All of S1 has been doing quite well lately due to their mega film, which I suppose is par for the course after what we saw with the Moodyz bus tour. Maybe this isn’t quite as spectacular as the bust tour but it has the kind of cast to excite people. Looks like it also has the power to spike curiosities in some other actresses too. This other group video is doing well too, and specifically Ai Hongo and miru. It’s interesting to see them as the ones excelling, can’t really make head or tails about why it’s them specifically as opposed to say Tsukasa Aoi or maybe even Yua Mikami from downtown. That being said, it’s really hard to tell where exactly everyone is landing with that major film, and we see plenty of others doing well. In fact, Yua Mikami from downtown is actually a thing at the 8th spot on the digital sales, even eclipsing Unpai moving to Moodyz and getting creampied. In fact, if I’m being totally honest an Unpai creampie should have done better like what we saw from Takasho before her retirement, so who knows. But hey, lots of of S1 as usual so all is well.

Rie Miyagi (宮城りえ) joins Jun Suehiro (末広純) next month for a big butt film. While it’s obviously not the film that made her do well in December it’s a sign that good things are continuing for her. She’s been shining since leaving S1 in a way I’m not sure a lot of people expected. Yeah, there’s been a lot of mediocre studios, but being on pace for 100+ a year is something that eclipses studio quality, especially if some major players like Moodyz are still in the mix. She had 10 last month, 17 the month before (which included Fitch and Das) so I think it’s safe to say things are going well. Right now feels like the time to be all-in on Rie and everyone over at Bookmate has seen the same thing.

Do you recognize the boobs? No? Can you figure it out anyway? If you haven’t it’s Kanna Miki (三木環奈). The new debut from Moodyz seems to be off to some initial success, which I think is par for the course for any busty debut from a major studio. Doing an IV for Fair & Way after only her debut film is, well, very unusual. That’s a lot of stock to put in her early on but hey, the data seems to support her being popular. I just don’t know that there’s any staying power, I mean this fast is absolutely wild to me. I’ll definitely keep my eye out for her to see if this continues down the road or people find out she’s not so hot.

Who would have guessed Unpai (うんぱい) moving to Moodyz and doing creampies would go over well? Ah, right, probably everyone. S1 always felt like a bit of a lacking home for her because it felt like she was willing to do a lot more than they gave her the chance for. She definitely strikes me as fitting better on their roster if I’m being honest, she has too much of an individual personality to fit on the sheep of a studio S1 is. I feel like she maybe doesn’t shine as bright with all the busty debuts they’re filling their roster with. Either way it’s nice to see her getting creampies like this and now is a great time to just watch all the different themes they throw her in. Nurse today, schoolgirl tomorrow, teacher after that, office lady, there’s just so much to give her and I have faith in Moodyz treating her and her 98cm hips right.

If you haven’t read my debut review of Mitsuri Nagahama (長浜みつり) then it’s time that you do because the consensus is that she’s great. But don’t take my word for it, take the word of the Japanese people buying her videos at Bookmate. She’s pretty, has an all-around great body, and that’s why watching her in VR is bound to be awesome. It’s her third VR already and I like the idea of an actress willing to do plenty of VR. Not everyone likes it and you can tell where some almost never do it (like Julia and Ai Sayama) where others do it all the time (like Konan Koyoi and Momo Sakura). Hopefully Mitsuri will be the latter and we’ll get plenty of VR from her.

Sometimes it’s surprising to see actresses show up on lists and this pair is certainly surprising. I would naturally expect physical store sales to lean more towards newer releases just naturally due to the way things are promoted, and it’s hard to have new releases when you’re retired. To be fair, they do get to be in the S1 section which is arguably the best place to be, but even still. Maybe things were on sale, I don’t know, that would be my guess anyway. At any rate we're seeing Yuri Adachi (安達夕莉) and Mirei Uno (宇野みれい) still doing well. Mirei I understand a bit more since she had a release during December but this video in August was Yuri's final release. Maybe they're just nicer than they seem, I have heard great things about Yuri, but I think ultimately with both set to be out I would personally move on to other debuts from S1.

Kanae Yumemi (夢実かなえ) seems to be really popping off as of late which is great for Tameike Goro. Their studio as of late has been on crutches, what with Ai Sayama announcing her retirement and Julia only working there every couple of months. Finding a great exclusive actress is big for them and Kanae seems to be bucking a lot of general trends from them in terms of her content. I’m as excited as everyone else to see what else Kanae has in store for us.

Ririka Amau (天羽りりか) is a new debut for Kawaii that seems to fit the theme of their studio. Where I’ve lamented about how their ace Mayuki Ito doesn’t exactly fit their aesthetic anymore, I must admit that it’s also difficult to get the right kind of actresses there. A lot of the actresses just aren’t that popular, and the ones that are end up elsewhere. It’s good to see someone doing well, even if it is a little bit too early to see if they have staying power.

Miu Nakamura (仲村みう) is an actress that still baffles me to this day. She somehow managed to rotate between Idea Pocket, Moodyz, and S1 simultaneously. I can understand Moodyz since they entertain freelancers but S1 and IP really has me confused. What’s even crazier is how she picks one for like half a year and skips the others these days. It used to just be one release every three months but somehow she has released for 12 months straight if I count the January and upcoming February release. Very surprising, to say the least. At any rate she’s seeing some success being on Idea Pocket’s roster, which maybe is a factor of some of the more mature names taking their talent elsewhere recently. I could see a void there factoring in enough to bump her a couple points into this spot, especially with more consistency for fans to rally behind.
