JAV Sales Report - June 2024 ft. Mitsuri Nagahama, Hikaru Nagi, Waka Misono, and more

Welcome to the June sales report.

I'm not going to lie, if I had seen this before I wrote my July watchlist I might have considered adding it. Aya Onami, perhaps better remembered as Aya Sazanami, has been back for a bit now. I can't say I ever really got into her (surprise surprise) but with that ass maybe there's time to turn it around. I'm sure we'll see her showing up more and more in other blog posts, especially if you look at what she has cooking for next month. It's also not surprising that she has left K.M. Produce exclusivity, it was probably mutual between them. KMP probably was only willing to bankroll her for her redebut as a big score meanwhile Aya probably wanted some more freedom. Things do seem to be picking up and we shall see what looks nice over the coming months and if others are in agreement.

Does it make you feel old seeing an Arina get a Moodyz best of release? How long has it been since she's been at S1? Did you forget about her stint in Faleno? I must admit that I forgot for a second when I saw this, my mind immediately jumped to her days at S1. Long gone are those days, four years now, but one thing has remained true: Arina has still got it. Maybe fans don't crave for her like they did during her S1 days but it seems like they're still finding ways to enjoy her based on her performance this month. We'll have to remember to see if this is a one hit wonder for her or if fans will be reminded how great she is.

Hikaru's July release got spoiled and people thought things looked a little off. Then the video got spoiled and everyone was wondering why her boobs looked so perky. When the video came out we all saw the writing on the wall: boobjob. You can see it a bit more clearly on the cover of her August release as one of the photos makes them look like beach balls. The one thing she had going for her, ruined!!! Not everyone shares my opinion but I'm pretty strongly opinionated that her boobs were fantastic in the first place and no work needed. It's a shame to see her enhance something so nice in the first place, what are you even trying to accomplish? I'll be very curious to see how fans react over the coming months. Clearly the success is still there but I'll be damned if I'm not looking at this like a travesty. Maybe some people bought it just to find out, maybe some like it, again I'll be curious to see how she fares.

I don't know what it is about Waka lately but she's been everywhere. The results are clearly there as she's dethroned Ichika as the number one in digital sales. Pretty wild to think Waka of all people would be the one to dethrone Ichika but here we are. If I had to guess I would say people are enjoying the slimmer Waka. It's a bit of a double-edged sword if you ask me because on the one hand she does look nice now that she's in better shape, but at the same time I can't help but be sad that she's not as thicc and busty as she once was. I will say that if she continues to get a ton of opportunities then it'll be a good thing because I think Waka has some performing skills that have historically been underutilized. We'll just have to see what happens in the coming months.

As I mentioned above Ichika has been dethroned, a rare sight indeed. She drops just a single spot which really doesn't mean all that much, but interestingly is extremely low on Bookmate at just 84th. She still has quality content coming out even if she's an exclusive these days. This release for DAS is honestly right up my alley. I love interesting settings like this and while a porn shop might not be all that exotic it's surprisingly underutilized. Maybe it's expensive to use, I don't know, but it has always struck me as the perfect setting. You walk up on an unsuspecting guy who is flabbergasted by seeing an actress he watches in the flesh, and when she reveals she's not wearing anything under her coat, off to the races. Ichika is someone I have a lot of faith to do this well and I suspect it will be a great time for fans of hers.

Ruka is now on her second video since her comeback and is starting to show life on the sales reports again. Pretty thrilled to see her back as she was one of the top debuts from 2019. It feels like ages ago but it's also been quite some time with Ruka retired. People who remember earlier sales reports will remember that Ruka stayed strong for a while after retiring so it's no surprise to see her straight up to the top again. Hopefully she'll leave E-Body later this year and we can get her freelancing again. Man I'm so excited!

I've written elsewhere about how I am lukewarm on Kiho. The truth is that the transfer from Muteki isn't the same after their last miss. However, I present exhibit A. She certainly looks better than Kaoru Yasui to me and I'm perhaps not as off put as I initially was with her just on the basis of her being from Muteki. I'll keep an eye on her just like a few dozen other actresses I do and we'll see how things go as the year progresses. Maybe she won't flutter out like Kaoru did.

Anyone else been watching debuts yet? Anyone seen this beauty? Hard to go wrong with her and she's been top of mind for me since the beginning of the year. She's pretty, she has nice tits, and for a change she has a great theme. Nurse is one of those themes where it's hard to mess up. The setting, the atmosphere, the outfits, it all just aids so much that you can't really go wrong. There's a good reason she's competing against the new hotness from S1 this many videos in and if anyone isn't convinced yet let this be the film that convinces you.

S1 and busty debuts, name a more iconic duo, I'll wait. That's truly become the name of the game here and S1 seems to be running away with things. Yu Tano's debut is somehow still the thing topping the charts rather than her second or now third release. Okay fine, her third release wasn't even spoiled before the data was published and her second release hadn't come out yet. Remember that we're dealing with digital where there are no preorders so the data lags the physical stuff by a month. That's why you see the second one in the physical sales, something we should anticipate being the case for digital sales next month. I still haven't given her a watch as I'm waiting for some more interesting content but at least this time the debut was early on and there's plenty of time for a good release to come out. Either way she's top of mind for me and definitely someone I will be watching.

In 8th place we have this mega omnibus from a studio most people probably know just as BANK. That's what their codes go by, you can see in the top left it says ま〇こ銀行. Any guesses what this stands for? If you said bank you're half right. The top line says pussy, so yes, it really does say Pussy Bank. With the small cover we have for the title in the actual infographic I feel like they might want to change their name to Tits Bank. They tend to feature a lot of busty women, the one on the infographic being Yua Kasumi. I've seen her listed as big as 126cm M cup and I must say I would believe it with the honkers she has. Even if you're not looking at Yua there are plenty of other names there with giant titties, with 35 titles and over 80 hours of footage there's so much boobs there that you might get overloaded. Puts a lot of other studios to shame with their bundles and maybe we can see more giant things like this.

Team Yua Mikami (三上悠亜) or team Saika Kawakita (河北彩伽), which are you on? Since Saika's redebut they've been neck and neck. Right now Yua is edging out Saika here meanwhile on the DMM physical sales Saika is #1 while Yua doesn't even break the top 25. At this point what I'm more curious about is where Saika would need to get to in order to legitimately contend with having a better career than Yua. If you start from Saika's redebut she's got another five years to catch up on which is a tall order. And I would say you can probably discount the earlier content and use it as the thing that tips the scale instead of trying to figure out how to weigh her disappearance. She's got quite the way to go to catch up to Yua but she's been doing insanely well and been insanely consistent and at some point she'll compete for the S1 GOAT like Yua can.

Just like with a passing of the guard at S1 we have the same over at Idea Pocket. While Mitsuri Nagahama (長浜みつり) is the standout at 4th place we also have Saki Sasaki () at 18th place. These are two actresses that debuted in the past half a year or so and are rapidly gaining a lot of fans. This contrasts against the others we see on the list, like Momo Sakura () in 10th, Airi Kijima () in 11th, Karen Kaede () in 12th, and Tsumugi Akari () in 19th. The reason I point these two out and circled back to Mitsuri a second time is that there's always this constant battle of newcomers vs veterans. I find it's a tricky thing to balance as a fan. Momo is a favourite of mine that I quite enjoy, someone I'm sure I will continue to watch a number of times, but someone I don't expect to make my top 10 or 20 ever. On the flip side there's Mitsuri, someone who shows a lot of promise. Maybe she isn't Momo but maybe she's better. I feel like the potential for new actresses often weighs on me where I'm opting for the newer on the hopes they will be everything the other wasn't, even if the other is tried and true. Like maybe I'll watch Mitsuri, find out she's great, and keep opting for her instead of Momo. That would be what the signals seem to suggest as everyone has been a fan of Mitsuri thus far. Out with the old, in with the new, as they say, and it'll be interesting to see what goes on at IP over the next few months as they seem to have found some good actresses to make up for some recent losses like Minami Aizawa's retirement or Himeka Iori shifting to Madonna.

We've got a couple of omega busty actresses a bit further down the line in Noa Haruna (羽月乃蒼) and Reika Takeda (武田怜香). It's interesting to see them doing rather well because you typically don't see these middle of the pack busty actresses at the top of the charts. I always find it interesting to see how far Bookmate strays from DMM. It feels like we'd sooner see busty actresses from IP or Moodyz doing well instead, which are on the same graphic but going toe-to-toe as opposed to head and shoulders above. We do actually have a couple of spicy things from these two actresses as well.

For starters you've got Noa Haruna doing a neet video for Fun City. I've been underwhelmed by Fun City as a studio and this is the perfect one to bamboozle you in. It looks fine on the cover but your neet stepsister is literally wearing a mask indoors the whole time and trying to kiss you through it. Looks like they've just run way too far with the mask theme on here and I hope it dies with fire. On the flip side we've got Reika Takeda with a big fat 専属 on the cover, which as a friendly reminder means exclusive. NIKUYOKU feels like a home for her based on her figure but like Fun City I kind of hate them. You'd think Fitch would be totally fine but somehow this label does nothing but emphasize their body and it's quite the shame.

As I mentioned above we've got debuts for Idea Pocket in Yuika Onosaka (小野坂ゆいか) and Moodyz in Toa Yuki (優木とあ) on this list. Interesting to see exactly how they stack up to even bustier actresses. As a fan of such busty ladies my mind goes in several directions. To start, Noa and Reika are bustier. Say what you want but tits matter and theirs are nicer, especially Noa's. Then I might notice their bodies where Yuika and Toa seem slightly better. There's also their faces which is perhaps a toss up because while I think Noa is the worst of the bunch my initial impression is that Reika is the best of the bunch. What I think a lot of it will really come down to is the quality of their works. Yuika and Toa are at better places than Noa and Reika are and I strongly suspect you'll just have more enjoyable stuff from this pair (once we get through their first few films anyway). It's always a struggle but we shall see how things shape up.

Who remembers that plain Jane actress that debuted last year for SOD's female employee label Haru Shibasaki (柴崎はる)? Remember how she was doing surprisingly well? Turns out SOD noticed because she's on their main roster now. She's one spot against Rei Kamiki (who is my current favourite on their roster) so that's saying quite a bit. Very successful results from Haru. I've been recommended her by some people, perhaps not because she's an actress I would like but just to recommend because they like her. That's quite in line with the general trend and it's nice to see she's successful everywhere. I highly doubt she'll be one I watch but regardless I'll have to remember (and I know I won't) to see if this is just people treating her more like a main roster debut or if she's really got some skills.

In someone who is absolutely more my speed we have Himari doing well. Q cup tits still mesmerize me and this cover is absolutely fantastic. It's not the video from June, it has a July release date, but I'll be damned if this won't entice a lot of folks. I'd expect to see solid gains from Himari next month on the list and hopefully my hunch is true.

When it comes to mature actresses who comes to mind for you? Is it possibly Maki Tomoda (友田真希) and Chisato Shoda (翔田千里)? These are 100% the two that come to mind for me if I think of actresses that are 50+. It's crazy to think they're both over 50 and going as strong as they are. There are certainly other actresses at that age but none that have the 20 year careers these two have. It always amazes me to see their continued success at this age. You'd think they'd be washed up or look past their prime, and maybe they are and do but people don't seem to care. I know I certainly don't, especially with Maki, and I'm just always surprised to see this. At any rate here's a taste of what they've been up to lately. Maki is still doing her thing over at Madonna's Monroe label while Chisato just takes whatever random MILF videos come her way, which was Aleddin back in June. I hope you all keep watching them because I'm curious to see at what point they truly become unwatchable, it turns out 50 isn't the answer, I wonder if 60 is.

On the flip side to the more mature side of the industry we have a less mature side in Non Ohana (小花のん) and Rio Kuriyama (栗山莉緒). I point these two out specifically because they contrast nicely against Maki and Chisato. You see, Madonna has been filling up their pokedex lately catching all these younger actresses. It's like they just throw the pokeball and hope it lands on something. I mean sure, Non might be legendary and Rio shiny (aka they caught something great) but it's just so weird. It's like if Ash somehow caught the legendary bird trio in the second movie because he tossed pokeballs at them. At any rate you tend to see them taking themes more fitting their youthfulness compared to Maki and Chisato so it works out a little but still feels oh so strange. And honestly as much as I like Madonna I wish they'd just leave well enough alone. Can we just agree if you're under 30 you can't become a Madonna exclusive? That would solve all my problems lol.
