We start off the collab fest with S1 and Moodyz with Nana Miho and a Hentai adaptation and…Golden Arches? Yes, Nana Miho’s adaptation with sublabel Mankitsu has her playing a service worker at the famous American fast-food joint. An obvious parody of the burger joint, of which we will not be calling by name because Ronald McDonald is a powerful enemy to make.

A pretty standard drama that has the married Nana servicing not just her customers at the counter but her brutish boss in bed. The sneaky sex in public and the cute uniform she gets are a nice wrinkle on the usual plot, but it isn’t much. The performing is fine, as is the sex, and Nana is a good star on S1’s stacked roster. However, it just comes across as an okay video as a whole. Worth it if you are already a Nana fan.

That last one was a bit tepid but Mankitsu has another S1 collab with Riri Nanatsumori and her first creampie video. Which, interestingly, I learned is something S1 doesn’t do at large, but that’s a conversation for another time. The creampies here are just whatever and in JAV it’s not very enjoyable personally. The plot is pretty simple, nor did they didn’t break the budget for the video. It might sound like I’m down on it, but I’m not because the performance saved it all.

Riri plays a woman who is just aching for some dick deep down inside of her and decides to get in on the on demand app ordering. Getting some dick to give her some creampies on the go. Even though the premise is simple and the setting plain as can be, her performance and acting brought the video to life. She played it fantastically as the shy and tepid woman who was nonetheless hungry and raring to go. It's not the showiest of acting: more subtle and reserved, but still gets the character across. A solid video with a nice performance that Riri fans should enjoy.

Now for some straight heaters with actresses teaming up. First are Kana Mito and Kanna Misaki in this delicious drama by Madonna. A beautifully shot drama with dark and dim staging to pair with its twisted story, where Kana plays a housewife who has been cheating on her husband with her friend Kanna. The lesbian affair infuriates her husband, and he decides to teach the two a lesson with some Reverse NTR. After witnessing their affair, we see the husband fuck Kana in front of her lover Kanna and later on both ladies are at his beck and call. The lesbian affair and reverse NTR are fun little twists that we don’t get to see too often. Not only is it a breath of fresh air, but both ladies execute the premise finely, with Kanna being the standout as the mistress.

I usually pick full sex scenes as the highlight to focus on but the blowjob in the middle of the film gets my shoutout. It’s the first time all three are together and Kanna does some fantastic facial acting as she reluctantly but surely gets into sucking off Kana’s husband with her. If I had one gripe, it’s that the lesbian play mostly disappears after the first scene. Still a solid video with a delicious NTR plot served up twice.

If there wasn’t enough girl on girl for you than this fantastic bibian title will give you more than enough. Akari Mitani teams up with director Nao Masaki again for another lesbian POV hit. This time, they add in more talent on screen with a threesome alongside the likes of Kana Yume, Kanna Misaki again, and more. What can I start with other than saying what a shame it will be once Akari retires. She is a phenomenal performer, and few can give a performance the way she does.

All of our scenes have different setups: one is a meta scene about AV actresses fooling around behind the scenes, others are straighter forward theme takes like with Nurses and Office Ladies, and the finale is a BDSM scene with a rough edge. All done in POV with the supporting cast taking turns staying behind the camera. Good variety in the scenes alongside the costumes and sex play. It’s hard to highlight any scene over the other because everyone comes up to play. I prefer the BDSM like scene with Kana Yume because she's a natural sub to Akari’s playful dom. I do think the Nurse scene is the strongest and most balanced, with all three actresses getting their equal time to shine, even the one behind the camera. While it is a shame Akari is leaving, she isn’t done yet and dropped one of the best Lesbian titles of the year so far.

Our next heater comes from the duo of Meguri and Hibiki Otsuki. Now, while Hibiki is a great actress and does fine here as the supporting act, the star of the show is Meguri through and through. Meguri puts on one heck of a performance while showing that she still has it in her comeback era. The plot comes from a great series by Madonna about a group of older women who fuck younger men on hookup apps. Aggressive older women with submissive men ahead.

This is a Femdom like video with how Meguri takes charge of the more submissive studs. She’s on full blast as she squirting in the sky, using belts as collars, and even spanking her own ass hard multiple times. She even gets real intimate with a large bottle inside of herself. Meguri plays it over the top and hard, which may or may not be too much for your own tastes. I enjoyed hammy Meguri and think that’s what she does well. A great threesome title that delivers with its plot, its quality, little bits of girl-on-girl play, and most importantly, the performing.

MUST WATCH

It’s a little mind-boggling as to why this video was chosen for their collaboration, as the two basically don’t interact with each other during sex. Aside from some roleplaying and story, they play off each other a bit but not too much during the sex. Not enough to ask yourself why this needed a collab at least. Seeing as these team-ups are rare and this might be the only time we will see the two together on screen, it’s hard to not be a bit disappointed in what we got. It’s not a bad video, just a disappointing and odd choice. Look to Yotsuha Konimatio x Riko Hoshino for an SOD team up done right.

Mary Tachibana has been creating a metafictional series of videos with Director Jo Asagiri that has a loose thematic thread. It’s a fun little series that has her playing different characters in what I’m calling the Tachibana-verse, more on that later. For now, we plop into the world of AV Writer Mary as she has prepared a script for Hibiki Otsuki and her studio to shoot. However, during the filming, she catches Hibiki’s eye and they decide to write their own story off-screen.

It's a great meta-plot setup and fantastically acted by Mary. She is such a lowkey good actress, be it with silly stories or heavy dramas. Here she plays the coy and reversed role that Hibiki takes on a carnal awakening. Her roleplaying during the scenes is good enough to eat. There are poor and good submissive roleplaying, and Mary nails the good side. Meanwhile, Hibiki takes a bigger part in the film versus Meguri one and shines in the supporting role.

The action is hot as sin and there’s loads of girl on girl play during the threesome action. The easy highlight is the middle scene, which shows off everything that makes the video sing, from Mary’s shy acting to Hibiki’s boldness as the pair invite a man into their bedroom. It’s one of my favorite videos of the year so far and gets a strong recommendation from me to all.

We finish off with a super-sized orgy and Bako Bus 2025 Edition. The success of the first title has launched another, and it’s great to see even if the follow-up isn’t quite as good as the first revival. For those that don’t know what is the deal with Bako Bus is, basically a ton of actresses are taken on a bus to a resort where they play games and have huge orgies with amateur men. It’s wild, it’s chaotic, and the best ones lean into the absurdness and decadence of it all.

This year’s lineup is not as strong as the last and relies more on freelancers and upcoming names. The video does give each actress a decent amount of screentime and doesn’t neglect anyone however the stars of the show are clearly Unpai, Aika Yamagishi, and Alice Nanase. The stars of Moodyz, Premium, and Das/Honnaka/Ebody get extra screentime compared to the rest. Then we have vets like Waka Misono, who are more of a cameo than anything, and Yui Hatano, who has a bigger supporting role.

Another thing I have to give the video credit for is its content. This has a gob-smacking 11 hours of raunchy fun for you to handle, with 3 more hours than the last entry. It’s filled to the brim with harem scenes, group skits, themed scenes, and the big group sex bonanza. I really enjoyed the competition game where the actresses were split up into teams and competed with one another in sex themed games. They all got really competitive, and it made for a fun show.

I don’t think this entry is as strong as last year's: not as many big names, the sex isn’t as strong, and we see less girl-on-girl play. However, it’s got a ton more content and is filled to the brim with fun and wacky scenes. I, for one, hope Bako Bus is here to stay as a recurring special.
