Reflecting on posts I do is a key factor so that I can improve and make better posts. This past year one thing I noticed is that there were lot of debuts that narrowly slip through the cracks and never get reviewed. I'm never going to review everyone but there are always some that are really good that, in hindsight, I definitely should have looked at. Sometimes those are actresses I didn't recognize at first and times they are actresses others point out. People may not realize that there are multiple ways I find an actress to watch: my own preferences, sales posts, and recommendations from friends. In addition, sometimes I don't watch actresses because they debut too late in the year. I posted my third debuts post at the beginning of December which wound up excluding everyone who debuted in November and December. Both of those factors combined I figured I could take another look at debuts from 2020 and try to catch all the stragglers. It will be my intention going forward to always do a fourth post as my first "New To Me" debut post in the following year. 28 debuts is a lot to watch but I think people are happy to see insight into new actresses.

Phew, that was a bit of a mouth full. With that said, let's jump into the actresses. I think some of these people will remember from my sales posts throughout the year.

Ai Kano

Ai Kano debuted on Christmas last year, unfortunately too late for me to get a chance to watch when I did my debut posts. With that kind of rack, especially with some actresses letting me down in that department, I knew Ai would be at the top of watching when it came to checking out a few more debuts. Decided to wait for her third to give her a chance to improve and also star in something a little less generic (aka it had a plot).

Physically Ai is the spitting image of Mion Hazuki. If you're a fan of her you'll love Ai. I'm surprisingly not a big fan of Mion and honestly I found myself feeling the same way about Ai. She doesn't seem like a natural beauty and there's a good amount of makeup on her face to show, especially eye shadow. I also didn't like her drawn on eyebrows, I actually strongly dislike fake eyebrows. Her boobs were definitely the highlight being as huge as they are. That being said there's something off about the way they move to the point that I suspect they may be fake. They just seem to have unnatural movement and lack the fluidity you typically would see, especially in boobs this size. That isn't to say they aren't nice but I like seeing them bounce and jiggle and hers don't do it as nicely as I would like. Maybe they're real and I'm being crazy but like Elaine said, "don't you think they seem a bit too perfect?". Her ass wasn't particularly noteworthy nor was her body, and in fact I think her body had something odd going on in the midsection with some weirdly loose skin like on Marina Yuzuki. They did their best to cover it up with her outfits being partially on during sex so I had to check out another video. Sure enough you could see exactly that in the few seconds you could see it, they tried equally hard to avoid good looks at it even in scenes fully naked. It truly seems like they put all the eggs in one basket with her.

As a performer she was rather bad. I can't say I expected much but this is about as bad as debut performances get. Lots of moaning, no enthusiasm, and bad expressions the entire time. Even in a video like this I expect the actress to enjoy herself a bit or take pleasure in being pleasured but I just got nothing from Ai. It's hard to hate on her too much knowing that she's new and has room to grow but seriously there wasn't anything to enjoy.

Rating - C

At the end of the day she's a one-note actress. Big boobs are my kryptonite so who knows, maybe I can come to enjoy them. My expectation is simply quite low for her. Too many issues with her physically that her boobs don't offset, maybe if they weren't so firm I might enjoy them enough to be more interested. With things like excessive makeup, fake eyebrows, and a loose midsection, she just doesn't do it for me. If she starred in some truly interesting stuff then maybe another watch is in the cards but I highly doubt that. Madonna already has a number of actresses I like including Marina Shiraishi and Asahi Mizuno, plus there are a lot of random freelancers and a ton of debuts. Ai just doesn't stand out enough among the sea of them and any video she does has probably been done better by someone I'm more interested in.

Kaname Momojiri

Kaname was someone I remembered from the sales posts last year. She had some good months around her debut but she didn't retain that popularity as the months went on. I ultimately decided not to watch her at the time favouring some more busty actresses who were starring in more interesting plots and themes. When this video came around I knew it was the perfect opportunity to watch her. Not only was it an interesting plot but it costarred another 2020 debut I liked in Yume Nikaido. Although I do prefer watching them in solo videos one thing I found doing a retrospective on this series is that the quality of the video matters, so picking something I actually did want to watch was ideal.

Physically I found myself not that impressed by Kaname. She seemed pretty average to me, boobs that were big but not huge, kind of cute but not overly so, and a pretty average body in general. I can't say I really expected anything more than that to be honest, I knew what I was getting into prior to watching. Her boobs did seem a little bit bigger and perkier than I expected (which was good), especially when they were squeezed together in missionary. I would say she paired up well to Yume physically and that they made a good pair as a result, although I would give an edge to Yume personally. I do think Yume is prettier than Kaname, though I wouldn't say that made me feel differently about Kaname than if I had watched her alone.

The performance was also rather average except for one small part. Kaname acted like the cute younger sister and acted as though she was clearly new. Some smiles and such that you could enjoy when she wasn't getting pounded but then moaning when she was. She had some decent titty fucking despite a breast size not ideal for it. The one thing I really liked was that she grabbed Yume's boobs a couple of times out of the blue. While it made no sense for the video and was a bit awkward her doing that made me think she was conscious of what was going on and what a viewer would like. I could appreciate her going a bit further beyond what was expected of her and it makes me think there's a glimmer of hope.

Rating - C

At the end of the day Kaname isn't really for me. She doesn't have the curves and Faleno isn't proving itself to be a good studio. On top of that there's also Yume Nikaido to watch. They're very similar and I like Yume more, so I just don't see the room to watch Kaname existing, especially if the two of them stay at Faleno. That being said, there's the potential for Faleno to find some interesting content or for Kaname to become a better performer. If Faleno started pairing veterans with newcomers that might give me an opportunity to watch them, and Faleno is still new enough that I don't know what they'll ultimately end up doing. If Ayaka Tomoda paired with Kaname I would watch that, and honestly I'd be inclined to watch her if she was paired with Yume again.

Moa Maeda

Moa Maeda was someone I was interested in last year but with mediocre content I ultimately skipped watching her. As people kept pointing her out to me plus with her swapping to E-Body (not sure if exclusive or freelance) I figured she was worth checking out.

Physically Moa is impeccable from head to toe. She has large I cup breasts that are some of the best-shaped breasts I've ever seen in an actress. Great firmness and jiggle as well and they're just amazing. Her curves also just look great on her slim body. I found myself enjoying her ass more than I perhaps ought to have as a result. Her body is just really nice and reminiscent of someone like Honoka Mihara who also has a fantastic body. She's also quite pretty as well which means you can enjoy whatever part of her you're watching. Easily one of the most attractive newcomers I've seen in a while, probably since Touka Rinne.

As a performer she wasn't very good. As a newcomer who has under a dozen releases it's unsurprising that she hasn't become a good performer. Especially given that she hasn't really done anything plot related it's almost expected her performing wouldn't be good. Watching the video she had pretty mediocre facial expressions and moaning. Again, expected when there really isn't a plot and she's a newcomer. Her moaning ranged from mediocre to not good and she just never really looked like she was enjoying it that much.

Rating - A

Despite not being a good performer I'm still interested in watching her again. It's so hard to find actresses quite this attractive, the last time I can think is Touka Rinne. If someone like Rara can be as popular as she is with such bad performing then maybe there's some hope for Moa. At the same time she hasn't really been tasked to perform so there's potential for her to get better as time goes on. Hard to tell where her career is headed but I'm interested in the ride and hope we get some more interesting content.

Nenne Ui

Nenne debuted late last year as well, after the cutoff date for anyone for new to me. She, like Ai Kano, was a perfect candidate for the follow up. Busty and regular glasses is a rare combination in JAV and it makes me really excited to watch when it occurs.

Physically I had rather mixed feelings about Nenne. She came off like she was very young and at 19 she's one of the younger actresses. Normally the age is lowered a bit because the younger they debut the better but I could reasonably believe that age with the way her face looked. I do tend to enjoy people a bit older and I wasn't quite sure what to make of her young face. Her body was quite slim, not really any thiccness to it. The curves were all centered around her boobs which I found to be quite nice. The shape worked out surprisingly well and I found myself enjoying them a fair bit. I think I also enjoyed them more because I disliked her ass. It wasn't very shapely and I found myself strongly disliking positions from behind. Her hips were rather wide but there are things other than wide hips that matter. Her bush was rather hairy, in fact hairy all over to a point I disliked it a little. She also wore glasses the entire time and it seems like she does that in general. It makes her stand out a lot akin to someone like Sachiko. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I find as long as they don't have too many actresses like this it's fine. I can remember both Sachiko and Aina Shinkawa in recent years and a rate at 2/year among worthwhile debuts is probably around the upper limit.

With respect to her performance she was surprisingly good. Even though it had only been a couple of months she'd already starred in a number of videos and was coming along quite well. Lots of flashes of brilliance in her performance, she very clearly understood the role. I bought into her being a bratty younger sister and that gives me a lot of hope for the future. She was also quite good at titty fucking, better than I would have ever expected. On the flip side she did moan quite a bit, including at times where being quiet was more appropriate, but I would still take all the good if I had to take this as well.

Rating - B

Personally I'm not sure what to make of Nenne. There are lots of qualities I like and some I don't like. I think my personal affinity toward more mature actresses about a decade older than her certainly stands out a bit as a reason I may not like her. There's this thought in the back of my mind that I really won't come to like her but her career has been quite successful so far. It makes me think that there's a lot going on for her and she could turn out quite well. It looks like half a dozen per month so far and a variety of studios as well, which is a good sign for a promising career. While I expect them to focus on schoolgirl and the likes the bottom line is that more opportunities is usually better for newcomers. I would be rather surprised if I didn't find something later this year from her to watch.

Reo Fujisawa

I put a lot of actresses on the list to check out each year, way more than the 21 (or now 28) that I ultimately end up watching. Reo definitely made the list but I had ultimately decided against her earlier on especially with her debut being on December 1st. However, when I came back to do a 4th post it was fellow blogger Fried Chikan that recommended her and I decided to take him up on that recommendation.

Physically Reo was rather mixed for me. Right off the bat you notice that she's quite large. Personally I would say she goes a bit further than thicc and is the wrong kind of thick. I'm not judging people who enjoy that type of body but for me it's not as ideal. Reo does have some large curves to help offset it though which I do think helps quite a bit. 110cm H cup boobs, which are quite large but also feel a bit small on her body. Not that they are small in any way but when an actress is as big as Reo are you notice them not fitting her body quite so well. Her ass was somewhat similar as well, not exactly curvy like Shiori Tsukada's ass but large simply due to her size. I find I enjoy larger asses like that compared to a small ass so I guess I'll take it. As far as her face goes I was kind of whatever on it. I'm not so keen on younger BBWs for some reason and Reo isn't the prettiest actress out there.

As a performer Reo was actually okay. While for a lot of the video she was rather average like you would expect a newcomer to be you also have to bear in mind this is only her third video. She had a few expressions that weren't half bad and she didn't totally moan incoherently the entire time. Her titty fucking skills were actually way better than I would have thought, one of the best I've ever seen among newcomers if not the best. She varied her technique a lot and had good form, so kudos to her there. She also even grabbed her boobs to play with them at one point just because she could. While overall I wouldn't go crazy for the performance I would say that these things stand out and that the things that stand out really make you enjoy performances from newcomers. Actresses can get better over time as they become more comfortable but being legitimately good at titty fucking stands out a lot.

Rating - C

Ultimately I think Reo is largely not an actress for me. I'm really not the type to like actresses this big and the biggest I tend to like going is Chitose Saegusa. Even for someone like Chitose her boobs are noticeably bigger than Reo and part of why I find myself okay with her body. Let's not forget Chitose is actually a wonderful performer and while Reo has some things going for her she'll have to go a long way to catch up. If I compare to someone even bigger like Shizuku Amayoshi, Reo isn't quite as busty or pretty. With that all being said it's so early in her career to tell what happens to her. I don't think I have high hopes for her as actresses her size tend not to pan out but who knows.

Miku Maina

Miku was yet another late debut that missed an opportunity in my last set of posts. Debuting in mid December I had kept an eye out on her to see where her career landed. After seeing how things played out I decided to give her a watch.

Physically the first thing I noticed is that she wasn't as pretty as covers make her out to be. If you look at more of her covers you can tell some studios try to make her look cuter than she is and others do not. I find it rather telling that her appearance varies so much, and personally I found she wasn't nearly as pretty as I had hoped. Once you get past that she actually has a pretty solid body. Her breasts are listed as anywhere from H to J cup depending on where you look but either way they are quite nice. A good size and shape that fits her body well, I think. Her ass wasn't particularly noteworthy, I thought, but her body having a decent amount of baby fat on it (she's certainly not heavy) made her ass seem perhaps a bit nicer than it actually is.

As a performer there were some good and bad qualities. On the bad, she was fairly generic as an actress, which didn't surprise me. Newcomers often don't have good facial expressions yet and given this was one of her earlier videos I was not surprised in the slightest. Now, she did have a number of good qualities that make me think there's potential. For one she sucked on her own nipples for a bit and played with her boobs, something I would never have expected. Secondly she squirted a couple of times, and I wonder if they can get her to squirt more in other videos too. Lastly she was pretty good at giving titty fucks. Granted that her boobs are rather big but plenty of actresses with big boobs struggle, so it was nice to see. That gives me a lot of hope for the future with her, that she could pan out and become quite good.

Rating - C

I'm going to level with you and say I didn't think she was that pretty and that it guides a lot of my rating. She has nice boobs, she could maybe turn out to be a good performer, and she's freelancing. That being said, I just simply don't find her that pretty. She reminded me a lot of Rika Tsubaki, except with a tradeoff that Miku has nicer boobs while Rika is prettier. I think that I would take Rika over Miku, which is then to say that I would be unlikely to watch a lot of Miku as a result. However, I do somewhat suspect that Miku's career might end up in a direction I like and I'll check her out again.

Kaede Ito

This was my first time watching Kaede, someone I hadn't really paid any attention to. Kaede was someone who was recommended to me, and is partially why I came up with a 4th post. There were a bunch of recommendations and eventually I found myself just plunging into it. Going into it she was recommended for her ass specifically so I came in with some expectation of it being nice.

Physically Kaede reminded me a lot of Akari Mitani. She had a similar look in my opinion, from her face and the rest of her body. That also means Kaede's best quality is her ass. Sure enough she has a pretty nice ass, good proportions and round. Her boobs weren't that nice in my opinion, largely because they were rather small; I like large boobs, sue me. With her face though I found that I wasn't so keen on it, but that could have easily been a factor of some intentional makeup for the plot, especially considering they show it. She starts off with glasses and there's a bit where they take it off and apply makeup so I'm really not too sure how I feel about her face. I know I don't love it but I don't believe I dislike it either.

As a performer I found Kaede was not half bad. Earlier on she was intentionally being generic for the plot but then later on she was a bit more upbeat. I felt like she wasn't fully capable of expressing that change in personality but at the same time you could tell because the first scene was so intentionally bland and generic. There were times, like during a blowjob scene in the middle, where she was performing better, but I feel like it got drowned out by the lacking expressions in general from the video. I think the highlight for me were the times that she wasn't excessively moaning while having sex. I've come to expect that from actresses, especially debuts, so it's certainly a breath of fresh air being able to avoid it.

Rating - C

I'm not keen on her but an ass like that doesn't come around every day. I'd be interested in seeing something from a studio like Fitch that could make her ass look particularly juicy. I feel like everything I like about her rests on her ass and so I need to see it in the best light to figure out how much I enjoy her.

Best In Class

Moa Maeda was by far the most attractive actress. She was pretty, had amazing tits, and a fantastic body. I really can't say enough nice things about it and have very similar feelings toward her, physically speaking, as I did when I first watched Touka Rinne. That's very high praise considering that Touka went on to become one of my favourites. Moa just has such an amazing physique and it would be criminal not to put it on full display for everyone. Not even a question about it here.

The best ass, however, was reserved for Kaede Ito. I came in expecting it to be the best and I wasn't disappointed. I wouldn't put her in my top 10 asses but that doesn't mean it wasn't nice. Certainly enjoyable, and like I mentioned, I'd be interested in seeing some good footage highlighting it.

The best video was Kaname Momojiri's. It wasn't quite as good as I had hoped but I also had quite lofty expectations of it. Costarring another debut I enjoyed in what was supposed to be a contest between the two made me think there was a lot of room for it to excel. Even still the pairing was good and more than I would expect from a studio I'd describe as S1 No. 2 Style.

Nenne Ui was the best performer in my opinion. I think part of that had to do with her having a good video to star in. That theme just has a lot of opportunities for her to excel in and she certainly did. To be fair though, she had more videos under her belt in comparison to others. She had about a dozen videos while some others were on their third video. I do like to wait on watching debuts but actresses who debut so late just don't really have the same luxury. Still, credit where it was due, Nenne did a decent job of it. Especially that it can be so demanding and that I have such strong opinions about how an actress should perform in such a plot, I found myself enjoying it.

Most likely to watch again is easily Moa. I sound like a broken record for sure but Moa really is gorgeous. As much as I like to talk about things like performing the bottom line is that you need a physical attraction to the actress. It's rare for me to like someone this much at first, physically speaking, and I suspect I would grow to like her. I might even go as far as to compare her to Rara Anzai, someone who is an awful performer but amazingly attractive. I still don't know what's going on with her career, she left SOD to go work at E-Body but only has the one release. I'll just assume nothing strange is going on and that we'll see more of her, and if not there will be hell to pay for keeping her away from the people.

As much as it pains me to say I think Ai Kano is the actress I'm least likely to watch. She was all-in on boobs that weren't as nice as I had hoped they would be. This might seem strange coming from me knowing how much I like busty actresses but she just didn't strike me as that nice. At the end of the day, boobs aren't everything - there, I said it. An actress has to have more going on for them and Ai really didn't.

This is the last time I'll be taking a look at new 2019 debuts but I do have plans to revisit them toward the end of the year and see how they're holding up. 28 debuts is the most I've done in any year but I think debuts are the best type of review for New To Me. I plan to do a couple more New To Me this year, focusing on actresses in general that I haven't seen or covered before, before finally getting to the 2021 debuts. I honestly haven't paid much attention to them but there's still nearly eight months before I start taking a look at them.
