Oppaira's January 2025 JAV Watchlist

Hey guys, Oppaira here. Welcome to the first Watchlist of the new year. I said I'd be making some changes, which I think you'll see by the end of the post. With that said let's go see what's in store for this month.

Meguri is a teacher who develops a cuckold fetish after her students can’t take their eyes off her. As her husband starts to realize this, coupled with their sexless marriage, he decides the best course of action is to encourage Meguri to act out on it.

Meguri is easily one of my all-time favourites but it can be challenging to find videos that are both good conceptually and suit Meguri as a performer. I find she’s developed into an over-the-top actress who always feels like she’s doing a little too much. That’s why the idea of her learning to be super slutty has me excited, because I think there’s a world where it turns out really hot. Watching her have sex in a movie theatre or a public bathroom are both great opportunities for her to go wild and make it make sense. That’s on top of the simple fact that it’s hot and unusual settings, especially the theatre. I can’t say I love the whole cuckold theme but I like Meguri enough that who cares.

Rena lives alone with her stepson, terribly lonely and sexually frustrated. Of course, she still looks banging in a swimsuit, and when her stepson’s friend visits and sees her like that he’s incredibly turned on. When Rena catches wind of him being interested she capitulates, not realizing that his libido is bottomless.

As you’ve undoubtedly seen for a few months now, Rena is back and she’s an all-time favourite of mine. I’m pretty much on autopilot watching any video that looks decent from her, and this is one such video. I’ve always enjoyed this plot from Madonna even if I’ve found entries to be quite derivative. The truth of the matter is that there’s a lot of performance variety as the actress goes through the narrative, from inching into her first action in some time, to happily continuing, to being a bit overwhelmed, etc. and I love seeing videos with that variety. I also think this one really did a good job with the intro as letting the tanned milf be in a bikini makes a ton of sense. Either way I’m excited to watch this one.

I’ll admit that I didn’t really bother too much with trying to understand the plot. Some hentai manga have great plots and others not so much. Sometimes it really is just a boring narrative focused on the artwork since the artwork in hentai makes such a huge difference. That being said, I’m usually shy about hentai, but not this one. Gal Alice is her comfort zone as is moo maid Yuria which I commend them on finding two actresses that fit it visually. More than that though is the way the two interact with each other. I could honestly care less about the content when the two of them are making out and touching each other. Those kind of videos always stand out and I’ll happily trust it will turn out well.

When I say Chitose is the best performer among the omega busty folk I really do mean it, so a video that lets her run wild and do whatever she pleases is bound to be good. I found that I didn’t really care much for her time at Fitch because they didn’t really let her do this kind of thing. Fitch might focus on her voluptuousness but I find that’s not really what I want out of Chitose. I simply love the combination of a strong performer who has huge boobs, not her plump figure. You can see from the second photo or the cover just how wild it looks like it will be, and even more than Riho above, I have faith in Chitose.

Riho has slowly been winning me over with some excellent performances, something I didn’t quite expect the first time I watched her. When you couple strong performances and a theme I really enjoy in teachers, well, hell yeah of course I’m going to watch it. What really stands out about this one is how willing they were to stick to the theme. Seeing her do action in legitimate teacher outfits that are far away from traditional sexy is nice. That juxtaposition of a prim and proper woman against her slutty side is very hot and I have a lot of faith in Riho to do it justice.

As you probably noticed reading this there are only five videos on this month’s watchlist. This is the change to it I was alluding to last time. What I found is that I liked the idea of following all the new releases and watching things hot off the press. What I found I disliked was planning so many videos ahead of time. I tend to enjoy a bit of spontaneity in what I watch, being able to select videos based on the mood I’m in or what I’ve been chatting about. I also find I miss out on some good videos since I don’t get to wait and see what people think about them before I commit to it. With 10 videos a month and whatever else I’m watching for blogs (like the 31 debut previews) it can really start to feel like a chore at times. We shall see exactly how many videos I watch per month going forward. It’s possible I still watch 10 monthly videos all the same just with a bit more flexibility. It’s also equally possible I don’t watch 10 and take that extra space to watch some of my retired favourites. Either way this series isn’t going away just maybe taking a bit of a step back.
