Oppaira's JAV Watchlist Review - April 2025 - Part 1

Hey guys, Oppaira here. Welcome to another round of reviews. Let's go see if the videos I selected last month were bangers or busts.

Yuna works as a simple married office lady. People don't really think twice about her, she dresses plainly and doesn't really inspire all that much. However one of her coworkers realizes she's kinda hot and decides to see where he can take it, which, turns out, she's kind of wild in the bedroom.

I came into this thinking squirting and office lady would be enough to make it work. In short: it wasn't. I've always known Yuna to be a pretty mediocre actress and I think that I get turned astray by the one or two times that Yuna delivers a good performance. She often is quite bland, especially when you give her a video that doesn't let her cook. Yes, she squirted, and it was glorious when she did (man that puddle on the bed was something else), but that and a bit of deepthroating was all that the video had. The sex was otherwise pretty reserved, and while the plot let her open up in the final scene, it still wasn't as nice as I had hoped it would be. Maybe I was a bit naive thinking it was an office lady video when the vast majority was just at love hotels, and maybe that's a big reason why I didn't like it. Ultimately it wasn't particularly good and I wouldn't recommend it.

Kanna lives with her husband and her BIL is staying with them. Her husband starts teasing and making fun of his stepbrother for being a 30 year old virgin, which clearly starts to get to him. Eventually it reaches a tipping point where he does something absolutely wild: he asks Kanna if she will take his virginity. "Well, if it's just this one time...".

I was pretty excited for this because Kanna can bust out all the right expressions for it. She absolutely did, and the video really shined as a result. Maybe it was a bit too on the nose and vibrant at times, like she was spacing out a little bit as if he had a 12 inch cock that was way too big. I felt like some times she wasn't as flexible as I know her to be, and I feel like that's the thing that makes Kanna shine. Or maybe it's the combination of the two, the vibrant expressions along with the flexibility. The plot was just as nice as any other in the series and I think it really feels pretty good when the cheating comes off more wholesome. Like she wasn't cheating because she hates her husband or is spiteful or bored but because she took pity on him due to her husband being so mean. I wouldn't really call this a banger but it was not too far off, and maybe Kanna being just a little more Kanna (even if the video didn't call for it) could have elevated it enough.

Himari plays a succubus that shows up to a guy's place one day. As he is scared for his life he's also turned on by such a hot, busty demon in front of him. And it turns out that Himari wanted nothing more than to just have some fun with him.

Let's talk about the obvious elephant in the room which is that Himari needs to look the part. I think she looked the part and then some. So few actresses can match busty hentai source characters and it literally took a Q cup actress to match here. Thankfully she not only had the boobs but the purple hair and horns came through quite nicely as well. The virgin-killer sweater was also a really nice outfit for her, something that lets her boobs still shine while covering up her midsection, and the first outfit had much the same feel. As far as the plot went I found myself enjoying it but maybe not as much because it was a little bit tame. You'd think the demon would be more of a succubus type and dominate him, but no, her goal wasn't to get even but to create the best offspring by mating with him. Which honestly isn't a bad plot, having a hot demon like her ask for you to breed her is my kind of thing, 1000% I would dump in there without question. The sex felt great, lots of good stuff from the more passionate kissing that suits her as a performer to the strong paizuri / boob play. There were bits and pieces that I might have small gripes with, like the camera angles were a bit awkward at times, but I don't think it was enough of an issue to prevent this video from being great. Again, I do feel like Himari could do dominant well and felt like a scene of that would have gone well, but it's an adaptation and they couldn't, unfortunately. It was still great though, and if anyone's wondering, it's as good as you would hope.

Rei Kamiki and Suzu Honjo play a couple of swimming instructors. One of the club members is attracted to them, so much so that he is super unhinged. I'm talking jerking off to the recordings of their swimming lessons, or even wilder, with their panties in the change room. And, since this is porn, he gains a special power that allows him to have sex with them.

I came in with mixed feelings knowing what the video would be. A swimsuit theme with a convoluted plot but two beautiful women beside each other. Both with contact lenses to detract from their beauty (yes, I think their natural dark brown eyes are nicer) but still pretty with the blue or red contact lenses. The plot was kind of all over the place I felt. Like the dude corrupted them and they were not quite sure what to make of it. It felt like they were tagging along on his ride wishing they were still in the pool and I couldn't help but be annoyed it didn't have stronger tones to it. Yes, it got better as things went on, but it felt like they were holding back for the most part. Nothing was worse than having Rei sit around for a scene while Suzu was having sex. Like really? Is that really what we're doing? It did have some decent stuff like a double blowjob, a bit of deepthroating, and of course there was plenty of action with lengthy sex scenes and five sex scenes in total. And for all I complain about the action, the two of them did perform it relatively well and there's just generally a lot of action. At the end of the day though it felt like just a video designed to get the two of them on screen together. I almost admire SOD for it because the star power will make it do well and you won't even blame either actress and stop watching them. Like I know this ain't it, or at least wasn't as good as what I would hope for a video with two of the most beautiful women out there, but I also know I'll still watch more Rei videos and that will be that.

Ai Sayama plays a slutty real estate agent with a secret technique to close sales: herself. In what's supposed to be a special moment between a happy couple as they move in together, Ai instead creates a messy situation as she has an affair with the man.

The Watchlist Queen once again was back at it with another classic. Of course Ai Sayama as a real estate agent would be great. I've seen Suzu Honjo and Karen Yuzuriha do this and both of them slayed, so of course Ai's would hit the mark too. I found this one had a lot more risky content to it, which was both a blessing and a curse. I like risky content but gosh do I hate it when it's done poorly. The two of them kept having to make up excuses to keep the girlfriend from coming in, and I won't lie, 30 minutes checking out a bathroom together is strange. On the plus side, sex in a bathroom is nice, it's the kind of good variety a video like this could use. The other videos kept relying on a love hotel scene that, while a solid scene, felt like a bit off the mark in terms of content. Like wouldn't you rather just have sex back at her office like this one? She invites you back to sign some papers and bam, you're balls deep in her. It had great visuals with mostly good lighting, nice outfits, and great hair styles. If the idea of a fling with the real estate agent sounds hot, Ai's is definitely worth the time.

So there are the reviews from April. I can't say I'm surprised at the results if I'm being honest. I came in thinking Yuna and the Suzu/Rei video wouldn't be that good, and Kanna's could maybe have gone either way, meanwhile the two I had faith in turned out to be great. I guess after reviewing thousands of videos you just figure out what you will and won't like. Here's hoping that next month has some more bangers, until next time!
