Hey everyone, Oppaira here. A little birdy told me people like top 10 lists so here we are with a top 10 list. I can't believe I've never written this one on this blog to be honest so I'm glad I actually get a chance to. I've seen countless videos and have been following JAV for around a decade now, so it's cool to look at who my favourites have been. I hope you enjoy.

Honourable Mentions

I thought to kick this off I'd give a few honourable mentions to my list:

Asahi Mizuno, Aki Sasaki, and Touka Rinne are all actresses that I've placed in my top 10 at some point. Asahi has been great for many years but her redebut was sadly not particularly great. Aki is still one of my favourite MILFs but being retired for several years now others have come to surpass her. Touka Rinne is someone I absolutely loved before her hiatus where it felt like she had finally hit her stride, but unfortunately her passion was lost and she eventually retired, leaving room for the 10th place actress to take her place on my list. Hibiki Otsuki is someone who hasn't made my list but is perhaps the most likely to one day make it. I've enjoyed Hibiki for a few years now and I think the only thing holding her back is how mediocre the opportunities are these days. If Hibiki was doing things today like she was 5 or 10 years ago she'd almost certainly make my list. But as you'll see, career longevity is a big factor and going on 10+ years gives her an edge the others above can't compete with.

With that said, it's time for the top 10.

10. Kurea Hasumi

Starting off our list is someone who needs no introduction in Kurea Hasumi. As someone who was in the industry for a decade she became extremely popular over the years and a household name. Kurea is someone I'll admit I've often been lukewarm on just because of her more bolt on style tits, but for anyone that does look past that you get such an amazing actress on the other side that you have no choice but to look past it. I mean, a decade in an industry where you were on top for a lot of it and willing to do quite a bit, of course you're gonna turn into a something. She's always produced great videos and especially during the pandemic she was one of the best actresses around.

Kurea's best quality was her ass for sure, which is one hell of an ass. I've yet to see a top 10 ass list that doesn't include her, I know my own top 10 ass list includes her. I also wouldn't blame you if you instead wanted to say her best quality was her performing, which is honestly some of the best we've ever had the pleasure of watching. There have been very few actresses who can do dominant like she can, she just simply got it and understood how to make a video great.

Recommendations

For Kurea I generally fall into one of two camps: see her being dominant or see her working with great costars. The first video was literally my favourite video of 2020 and speaks volumes to how much Kurea being given a bit of room to be herself can do. It's not a particularly interesting video but when you couple her ass and performing and give her some runway, she'll impress for sure. As good as Kurea can be by herself she often finds herself surrounded by other amazing actresses. Pairing her up with other great performers is a surefire way to get some quality content, which of course she has. Lesbian announcers? Strap on hotel sex? Or that cast in the final one is absolutely insane (Ayumi Shinoda, Anri Okita, and Asahi Mizuno).

Kurea may be retired now but you can still catch her at her bar in Tokyo. You may not get to see that ass but like many prolific actresses, there's plenty of content around to go back to. And honestly, there's so much great content throughout her career that you've probably not seen all the good stuff yet, I know I certainly haven't.

9. Chitose Saegusa

Chitose is an actress I've always enjoyed due to my natural preferences. While she might be a bit bigger than your typical actress I think there's nothing wrong with BBW actresses so long as everything else is proportionally good (and for Chitose it is). She had a stint for a few years, retired, and came back to the industry during the pandemic. Unlike a lot of returning actresses she's managed to be just as good as when she first left, and honestly it's been refreshing seeing her get pairings with other busty actresses (something she generally did not before). I think it's one of the things that is keeping Chitose a favourite of mine, the fact that her career is doing as well as ever these days.

8. Ai Sayama

Ai Sayama is an actress I think a lot of people don't realize has had an incredible career. I mean, she debuted all the way back in 2007 if you can believe it and has been quietly doing great work all this time. When it comes to picking favourites, 10+ years and still active goes such a long way. It's just so easy when there's not just a ton of content but also you've been able to follow their career for a long time. You could easily watch more than the dozen releases she does in a year if you wanted, but following all the releases month in month out is what's going to make you this big of a fan. And certainly, as she's gone from being exclusive at major studios like Alice Japan to shared exclusive like today or even to her idol group, she's had plenty of time to win us over.

To me Ai has always stood out for being so well rounded. She's pretty, she's got a nice figure, a great ass, she's certainly got the boobies, and she's always been a pretty good performer. Being well rounded like that goes a very long way. I can watch her do anything and know that I'm getting quality stuff all around. Sometimes you might only like an actress from one side or in a particular act, but I've enjoyed Ai in general. I can watch her from behind or give paizuri, I can watch her be spunky or sweet, all of it just works with her.

Recommendations

Ai has excelled in a lot of things over the years and one of the best parts is simply how consistent she has been. It's rare for actresses with careers this lengthy to produce quality content the entire time, and usually they'll peak somewhere. With Ai I've got favourite videos from a decade ago and from 10 years into her career. I've always found Ai to be best in a theme I personally enjoy just because I can count on everything else to be done well. Ai blowing someone in a public bathroom, having sex in the back room with a coworker, or fucking the boyfriend behind her sister's back, it just always seemed to work out. I do still highly recommend these but finding the right theme is definitely the key to an Ai video you will like.

Ai might not be the same actress she was a decade ago with the thicness she's gained but she's still fantastic. Who knows what being in Black Diamond is going to entail for her but for me I hope that it includes her being as spunky as ever with her JAV and keeping in shape. It's too easy to let loose at this age and Ai was in better shape earlier in her career. Regardless, it's hard to deny that she's been great for so many years and I can only hope she keeps it up.

7. Anri Okita

Of course Anri Okita would be on this list, my name is Oppaira after all. She's one of the most recognizable big breasted actresses out there and a fan for many who aren't as boob obsessed as I am. There's just no denying how physically incredible she was and how big of a fan we all were of her. She might have had one of the shortest careers among anyone on the list but it kind of doesn't matter when you look that incredible and can back it up with a bit more substance.

Ai Uehara is one of the most beloved actresses of all time. Say what you will about what she's done since leaving the industry but her time in it was prolific. She released a ton of content, captured the hearts of many, and you would honestly never guess she was only active for five years. She has the most incredible peak of all time according to one of our writers and it speaks more than anything I could ever write about her.

Ai is an actress that, once you get into, you pretty quickly realize what makes her so special. I've said it a million times already but the thing about Ai is that you can count on her to have done something and done it well. BBC? Check. Anal? Check. Bukkake? Check. Uncensored? Check. You just don't get that kind of variety from most actresses let alone someone who has the performance skills that Ai does. Recommendations

For me with Ai, I think I was always attracted to videos that showed off the range of her as a performer. Even though Ai isn't active anymore and is kind of shaming her past career, the simple truth is that Ai had a career that can't be forgotten. Unless you were watching her multiple times a month her entire career there's still plenty of fantastic content to go back to if you can find it. She was just so incredible at everything that no mater what you pick you're bound to have a great time.

5. Rena Fukiishi

Rena is an actress I flat out didn't like from the beginning, which is strange to think about when she's this far up on my list. She was definitely one of those cases where after the first video I was hooked, watching her as much as I could. Especially with such a prolific redebut where she was shooting videos every other day it seemed, I just couldn't get enough of her. Getting into an actress the same time their career is at it's peak (and what a peak it was) is truly something wonderful, and I don't think I would have become such a huge Rena fan if not for that.

First off Rena was just an extremely attractive MILF in my eyes. Back then I didn't often find MILFs this beautiful but Rena just did something for me that others could not. After that came the lovely boobs, which at her G cup size with the sag they had going for them were quite nice to watch; I'd actually strongly consider her for a top 10 paizuri list. The rest of her physically I think you could take or leave, though your mileage may vary on her tan/tan lines. I also found Rena to be a pretty solid performer throughout her career, capable of keeping her moaning to a pretty reasonable level that was surprisingly enjoyable.

Recommendations

When it comes to actresses working as much as Rena did the recommendations become important. While there are lots of things that might look great on the surface, it's really easy for them to just not be feeling it one day and produce some mediocre results. Rena's GES video above was one of my favourites from the series and an instant hit. She has a lot more risky videos where she's playing something like a stepmother or stepsister that really turned out well. Of course, there's always room for a nice change of pace like a lesbian video with the top MILF at the time Ayumi Shinoda. Especially when you consider Rena was someone the industry discarded only for her to return atop the industry, quite impressive.

Rena's prime days are definitely over but she's still someone I have fond memories of. Currently she does uncensored stuff among other things and it's just not the same, especially as her age has caught up to her. I still watch her from time to time but nowhere near like I used to. It feels awkwad for someone who is still technically active but uncensored careers are just not the same. As this is a list of my all time favourites, I'd be remiss not to include Rena. She's my third most watched of all time and considering how short her active JAV career was, that speaks volumes as to just how much I enjoyed her while she was active.

4. Meguri

Meguri is someone who has been on my top 10 JAV list for as long as I can remember having one. She was an instant hit with me when I really started getting into JAV being as beautiful as she was. Back then I was less into JAV and a pretty woman with big tits was all I needed. Thankfully Meguri is more than that but honestly, Meguri being just that could have been enough for me, even to this day.

Meguri is someone I've quite consistently called the prettiest actress. At the height of her career I was happy to call her the prettiest woman I had ever seen, period. A lot of people probably know Meguri for being over the top, which sometimes works out quite well and sometimes goes a little too far. Recommendations

I've actually always found Meguri to be quite good at a variety of things, whether she's more assertive like in her secret agent or teacher videos listed or whether she's more sweet and innocent like her tutor or newlywed one. Just having that variety is nice and there's just a ton of great content out there. The big thing for me was always how expressive she could be whether she was leading the action or not. Sometimes that does go too far and produces a bad video but doing that enough times produces enough quality stuff. The thing with Meguri is that she wasn't always that over the top, and more subdued films like being a tutor could be just as nice. It's rare to find actresses that are good across the board, and Meguri is one of the few I truly enjoyed in all sorts of scenarios. Dominant, submissive, or anything in between worked, so take your pick of which of the themes excites you the most.

Meguri is sadly mostly retired these days. I'm told there's some OnlyFans type content out there but it's just not the same as watching her month in month out in large scale productions. I don't watch her nearly as much as I used to but that's okay, she's still one of my all time favourites by a landslide. Being that physically blessed will do that, and Meguri is as nice as they come. I mean, she is #1 on my prettiest actresses list for a reason and I would be very surprised if that ever changed.

3. Kaho Shibuya

Kaho Shibuya was a pretty instant favourite of mine when I was first introduced to her. I mean, she's that busty petite that everyone loves, such incredible boobs on her. Even though they might be a little on the saggier side that's never been an issue for me. Once Kaho was done with Alice Japan she was just exactly what I wanted in an actress. And honestly, she spent a long time in second place on my list, only recently being eclipsed.

Kaho Shibuya is quite interesting when it comes to recommendations because there's not only a lot of things out there but any video has a chance at being great. These days I'm glad to see Kaho is still around in non-porn capacities. Sure, you don't get to see those lovely boobies unleashed anymore but Kaho being fluent in English means you can enjoy her a lot. She streams several days a week so you can always go hang out with her virtually. It's so rare to be able to get that interaction as a foreign fan, and believe me trying to communicate in Japanese on Twitcast is quite difficult.

2. Julia

Julia is someone I've enjoyed as an actress for many, many years. She's consistently been a favourite of mine since I first got into JAV and that's a big reason why she's so high up on my list. Considering more than half the list is retired the fact that she's still around with no signs of stopping is a big deal to me. I've actually seen more videos of Julia from anyone else on the list (except the first place actress) which is certainly a contributing factor. I've actually noticed that I've come to enjoy Julia more as her career has gone on, which is either a sign of my MILF preference or simply the fact that she has been such a consistent force.

One would think that my favourite quality of Julia would be her great boobs but in reality my favourite part of Julia is just how beautiful she is. Recommendations

Julia has had a lot of fantastic videos over her career and these are just a few of them. With Julia it's definitely been a big deal to make sure you watch the right ones because there's a lot of mediocrity among them. I think there's something to be said about how attractive she is because you can still enjoy mediocre videos as a result but there's a big difference between an average video and something special. That being said, the ones with more interesting themes or enjoyable performances are worth their weight in gold.

Julia is an actress I suspect will forever be my number two now that she's managed to get this high up on my list. What can I say, she's been incredible for such a long time now and shows no signs of slowing down. I think the biggest kicker for me is that 13 years later she's still just as good as ever. Some of my favourite releases of hers have come out recently (she had top 10 videos of the year in the last two years) and I honestly just have nothing but amazing things to say about Julia as she matures.

1. Hitomi

Hitomi has long since been my favourite actress and is honestly why I'm here today. She isn't the first actress I watched but she was one that made me dig deeper down the rabbit hole. Sure, I've never found anyone quite like Hitomi but I've found a ton of other wonderful actresses along the way. With Hitomi it's not simply the size of her boobs but how massive they are relative to everything else. She's so slim that the contrast is really quite incredible.

Yes, she's got those massive knockers, and while she's more than that I'd be lying if I didn't say that was the number one reason why she became my favourite. The way those things bounce, jiggled, and swayed was incredible, and more than that you could see her put them to incredible use in her paizuri. Recommendations

I'll be the first to say that Hitomi's career is filled with a fair amount of mediocre videos but when she hits, oh man is it great. The first three videos are among my favourites of all time (not just of Hitomi) and the fourth is not far behind. She could be really into it and dominant in a way that I appreciate oh so much, and she could just as easily not care at all and be super submissive. That was probably more a factor of Hitomi being an Oppai exclusive for such a long time and how little they bothered to try. Hitomi being that one of a kind actress gave free reign to just not even have to try at times.

Hitomi may be retired now but I'm honestly not sure there will ever be another actress quite like Hitomi for me. I watch a lot of JAV but never has there been another like Hitomi where I was clamoring to watch their latest release as soon as it came out. For years I'd watch her newest right away, good or bad, and she's still the only actress I've been like that. Others I'll gladly skip mediocre content but with Hitomi, just give me it all. That's truly the mark of your favourite actress and something I hope I can find once again with another actress.
