Far too often our top lists are exactly that: top lists. Top, the best of the best, the crème de la crème. While that's great most of the time it unfortunately means that those who aren't quite the best slip through the cracks. Today I'm hitting you with a top list that's for actresses that aren't quite at the top. Like my top 10 asses post, today I'm back with another set of great asses, just not quite as great. There are definitely many more actresses with nicer asses, but that's the whole point of this list, those that are underrated and flying under the radar. Without further ado I present my top 10 underrated asses.

10. Aki Sasaki

Aki Sasaki definitely doesn't have the biggest or most shapely ass but I find it's surprisingly nice. She's got a really slim figure that compliments it, on top of the fact that at her age it was impressive to see something rather nice. So many actresses around that age tend to develop those flat asses with absolutely no shape so it was always pretty pleasant watching Aki's ass.

I found with Aki there was always a good variety of positions showing off her ass in pleasant ways. Just take a look at it from this unique perspective:

Aki's ass is far from making any top 10 list of asses, but all things considered I do remember quite enjoying it throughout her career. Definitely on the nicer side of asses and certainly a pleasant little asset to her.

9. Touka Rinne

I think an ass is the sum of its parts and Touka's got great parts. Particularly her fantastic body couples well to make it stand out quite nicely. Just look at how great it looks when she does squats, who wouldn't want to be that guy getting such a view?

Of course it still manages to look nice enough in more traditional experiences you might have watching her. Just see for yourself when she takes it face down ass up:

I think Touka is someone that just benefits from having a really fantastic body. She might have the best body in all of JAV and I think it really makes her ass stand out. It's certainly not as meaty as some other asses but it's still enjoyable to me.

8. Aika Yamagishi

Aika Yamagishi is far from the first actress I would think about when I think about nice asses, but I always find myself surprisingly impressed by it. It's not the biggest or widest but it manages to still have a fairly nice shape. Just take a look for yourself:

When the camera angle hits just right, it actually does manage to look very nice. Just take a look:

I think everyone's always obsessed with bigger = better, I know I'm guilty of it myself. Aika Yamagishi's butt serves as a reminder that this is not a universal truth and that size is but one metric used to describe a nice ass.

7. Ai Mukai

I've sometimes said before that less huge boobs can fit an actress' body quite nicely and the same is true with asses. Even though Ai doesn't have a huge ass like Kaori or Shiori Tsukada does, it really does fit her body quite nicely. I think with how slender Ai's figure comes across as, the shape of her ass really does stand out. Just take a look at how nice it looks in doggy:

Certainly one thing that makes Ai's ass so nice is how wide her hips are relative to her body, really making it stand out, as you can see below.

Ai Mukai's ass always seems to impress me the more I watch it. It just always seems to be surprisingly curvier than I remember, and like I said, the size of it is really good on her toned body. Definitely a supremely underrated booty.

6. Meguri

Meguri is an actress whose ass definitely doesn't get any attention. People are too busy looking at her spectacular boobs or in my case, at how amazingly pretty she is. But like a lot of actresses who are curvy and borderline thicc, Meguri's ass really isn't half bad. There are plenty of angles and positions where it manages to look nice, like when looking at her from behind:

Even in cowgirl you manage to notice how the curves are actually nicer than you thought at first.

I've thought Meguri's ass was pretty underrated for a long time. Sure, she definitely won't compete for a top 10 ass ever, but hey, I'll take above average given how great the rest of the package is.

5. Anri Okita

I think pretty much everyone who's looking at Anri is looking at her from the front because man does she have a really great pair. That being said, her ass is often overlooked. I think a lot of people actually don't like her ass because not all of it is that great. Her ass certainly isn't as round as the rest of the crowd but I think it's important to recognize that there's more to an ass than that. The thighs, the hips, and the waist also combine to produce the total package and that's where Anri shines. Boy does she ever have some birthing hips, just see for yourself:

Even in simple reverse cowgirl positions you can tell just how much her hips stand out (in a good way).

I think I speak for many people when I say I'd love to get me a piece of that. It may not be the curviest but the total package comes across great.

4. Minori Hatsune

Minori is someone whose ass I have been noticing more and more since she came back to the industry. She comes off right on the border of thicc and that ass certainly helps tip her over the scale a bit. It's meaty, it's juicy, and it looks great as she takes it from behind as you can see below.

The way Minori's butt jiggles when she rides and how it just suits her frame nicely is hard to argue with, just see for yourself:

Overall Minori's ass is a great asset to her. I think people take stock of her other qualities before her ass but I tell ya, it's a lot nicer than people give her credit for.

3. Hibiki Otsuki

Hibiki Otsuki is someone whose ass I've never really taken stock of. Even as I've seen a ton of videos in such a short time, I've never really stopped to admire it. That being said, now that I have I can say I was totally missing out. It's a lot juicier than I ever gave it credit for. Just take a look for yourself:

I think her ass has really only gotten better with time. Especially more recently, take a look at it in her recent video for Wanz Factory, I mean good lord does it look amazing.

I'm pretty sure Hibiki is a shining example of how working out can enhance your body. I've never recalled Hibiki's ass being quite this nice and yet the evidence above is pretty convincing. Definitely consider me on the Hibiki train when it comes to nice asses.

2. Yui Hatano

The other half of Hibihata, Yui Hatano, is a name that needs absolutely no introduction, but perhaps on a list like this she does. I don't think most people are thinking about how nice her ass is and are instead focusing on how popular she's been and how much work she's done. While there are certainly many reasons for Yui's massive success all these years I can't help but think that her ass is one of those reasons. It's actually far nicer than I think anyone gives it credit for, just take a look at it from behind:

Even in side profile views it manages to also look quite nice.

Yui still might not be an actress you watch for her ass, but if you're watching her I would urge you to take a look at her ass a bit more.

1. Arisa Hanyu

Like some others on the list Arisa Hanyu isn't someone I naturally think of when I think about the best asses around... I tend to be a little more preoccupied with her from the front. That being said, it's always a treat when you've got someone who is great from both sides. Arisa is someone who, once I noticed how nice her ass actually was, wanted to watch it more and more. I mean just look at her from behind there, holy moly.

Even as she rides and arches her back it still looks every bit as nice.

I have nothing but good things to say about how curvy Arisa is, and I think many viewers may start to appreciate more than just her lovely boobs.
