Pan Takes - January 2025 Vol 1 - Alice Otsu, Mizuki Yayoi and Nagi Hikaru

2025 is officially upon us. It's the start of a brand new hopefully filled with plenty of great new JAV releases. I'm kicking off the year with a look at an array of favorites including Maria Nagai, Shiori Tsukada, Nagi Hikaru, and an enticing new doujinshi adaptation courtesy of Alice Otsu. As always I'll fully review each one and cap it off with an overall score. Now without further ado, let's started!

That's certainly an interesting title huh? Well, don't worry there's nothing extreme about this film as it's entirely centered around her big booty. It's a straightforward film with no real plot to speak of. All the attention is devoted to her ass in mostly vanilla scenes with a slightly heightened focus on facesitting. I'll admit that this series is a guilty pleasure of mine. Each entry is the same every time and it's not perfect but it always delivers some great ass eyecandy. There's no denying that the production values here do feel a bit cheap as the lighting, while nice with its lowkey setup, is nearly the same across the entire film. The settings are also uninspired with little to no wardrobe to speak of for Mizuki. The camerawork though at least is solid and I appreciated the POV scene at the end. Now we have the action which is unfortunately a bit on the light side.

It contains two sex scenes, a scene where she sits on his face while he jerks himself off, a solo masturbation scene, and a stimulation scene with a guy using a variety of vibrators on her. Those masturbation scenes are mostly a total bore sadly. There's a few nice glimpses of her ass but it's not enough to stop you from fast-forwarding through most of it. With the sex scenes occurring at the start and end, this means a large chunk in the middle of the video is largely skippable. Also doesn't help that many of the fake cumshots here look ridiculous and over the top. That said, the sex scenes are superb and feature plenty of cowgirl and doggystyle to highlight her top-notch booty. And lastly, Mizuki delivers a relatively solid performance. She isn't given much to work with but does well enough with decent energy, especially while riding on top. MIST-453 is far from perfect but is worth watching for any ass lovers out there. It's no doubt simple but delivers some juicy ass goodness.

Another month, another new Maria Nagai video. This one doesn't feature much of a plot whatsoever and instead is pretty vanilla. It's mainly centered around the action with a focus on dirty talk and teasing while playing up her slutty and flashy appearance. Nothing more to say regarding the setup really so let's just move on to the action. It features three sex scenes and a terrible paizuri scene. Part of that is due to her admittedly awful appearance and lousy technique where she uses her hands more than her tits. The sex scenes at least aren't bad and one is even shot entirely in POV. But sadly it's just cowgirl which can get a little repetitive. Also, nearly all the cumshots are fake. I do like how every sex scene includes a nice balance of ass and titties at least.

The production values are where this film shines the brightest though. The lighting for example is superb having a nice soft feel to it which greatly compliments her body. Not too harsh either. The camerawork is solid too especially with two of the four scenes being filmed POV style. The one sore spot though is her appearance. I loved her outfit in the last scene consisting of a flashy "sexy" labeled necklace and dollar sign earrings. I also loved how in the POV scene you can see sweat beads dripping off her chest. But her hairstyle and outfit she sports in the paizuri just didn't do it for me and made an already middling scene even worse. Couple this with a relatively solid but not amazing performance and you have a decent watch all around.

From the sound of the title and the tantalizing cover, this should be a slam dunk, right? Well...not entirely. The plot is admittedly great and certainly fits Shiori Tsukada perfectly. She plays a milf type role as she finds out that her girl's boyfriend is a virgin and decides to seduce him so he can practice with her. It's a setup that caters to Shiori's age very well and she's a good fit overall. And I liked the inclusion of risk in a couple of different scenes to enhance the excitement. Speaking of which, the action is mostly pretty decent. It features three sex scenes, two blowjob scenes, and a handjob scene. Overall I feel a little mixed here. There's a nice variety all around and I liked the added risk factor such as when she tittyfucks him behind the girlfriend's back.

However, the copious fake cumshots are annoying and the first sex scene is really lackluster as it only utilizes missionary. Another aspect that's underwhelming is sadly her acting. She's not terrible but lacks the proper enthusiasm you'd expect to see here. Her facial expressions are also pretty hit-or-miss. I know she's better than this so it was rather disappointing that her performance fell flat. The production values are sadly another element that doesn't quite hit the mark. Much of the lighting for example is rather flat and samey across the entire film. The camerawork could've been better in some spots too. At least she wears a few sexy outfits throughout. JUNY-143 is still a fine watch but it had the potential to be far greater. Some of the execution and her acting are a real letdown.

Alice Otsu and doujinshi adaptations go hand in hand so it's no surprise that we got another one on our hands. This film adapts the hmanga titled "Kyou sei Renai Ore to Ane no yuganda kankei". It's about a guy whose older sister gets jealous when she finds out he's about to have a relationship with his high school crush so she goes full tsundere mode. This results in her restraining him as she fucks his brains out. It's a fun setup that is made for Alice and her nympho acting ability. It's a well-executed adaptation too that faithfully adapts the original work while adding several new scenes. Alice is also physically a great fit for the lead role and her wig actually looks decent for once as most of the time they look terrible. In fact, the production values across the board are fantastic. As I touched upon earlier her appearance is top-notch and matches the main character perfectly without looking too ridiculous.

The camerawork is great too but the biggest positive is the lighting. In both major sex scenes, they use a spotlight behind her which illuminates her really well and highlights her squirting excellently. We're treated to several nice gushes here actually. This leads me to the action which features two full sex scenes and a blowjob scene. It is a bummer that the first scene exclusively just uses cowgirl but to be fair that's how it is in the original work. The second sex scene is much better in that regard with far more variety. The fake creampies are disappointing but it's modern JAV, what can you do? And even though the range of positions may be limited, Alice makes the most of it with her brilliant performance. Alice's cowgirl skills are on full display here. All this makes for one of the best doujinshi adaptations in recent memory. It executes the source material in brilliant fashion and delivers on all fronts.

As always with Nagi, that's an eye-catching cover for sure. However, the photoshop on her face looks a little off. The premise for this is very generic and barely counts as anything at all. It lightly casts Nagi as this high-end sex worker who serves her customers in luxurious hotel rooms. It's very vanilla and inspired compared to her previous couple of releases. That specific aspect is a big letdown but thankfully, mostly everything else is enjoyable enough. It all starts with the action that consists of three sex scenes and a mostly underwhelming paizuru scene. I normally like her tittyfuck scenes but the setup was bland and the angles weren't the best plus the cumshot was lousy too. All the sex scenes were great at least with a nice array of positions and real cumshots.

The surprisingly fantastic camerawork further enhances this aspect. Some of the angles here are simply stunning and capture the best possible angles of her body and chest. The best highlights are when she's riding cowgirl and they shoot from the side or when she's getting fucked standing up while showcasing her incredible figure. The lighting isn't too bad either but it's nothing too noteworthy either. However, I do like the use of body oil in the second sex scene to give her body a nice shine. I will say the hotel room settings get a bit stale after a while. And this likely won't be surprising, but her performance is pretty lackluster. Everything from her engagement to her enthusiasm is very middling at best. Overall the eyecandy factor is on point but the forgettable plot and mediocre acting leave something to be desired.

I've been eagerly awaiting to watch Noa Haruna after her six-month hiatus last year. During her time off she underwent some changes. She seemingly had some minor work done on her face and lost a bit of weight. I'm admittedly on the fence about all this. I personally thought she looked just fine before. I kinda miss the chubbiness that she had and as a result, her boobs don't look quite as good. They're still nice for sure but not quite as godlike as they were. Anyway, this film here is a pretty basic release centered around her having sex with a few different guys in a couple of different hotel room settings. What you see is what you get. Now for what it's worth, the production values are fine all things considered. The lighting is generally good albeit a little too bright and saturated at times.

The camerawork is on point too and the POV added in the last scene is a great touch. And without much of a wardrobe at all, you get a lovely uninhibited view of her body. The action is no slouch either featuring three full sex scenes alongside a brief and forgettable blowjob scene. It's less than ten minutes long and ends with a fake cumshot, no reason to watch this. The sex scenes on the other hand are all fantastic. They're all evenly paced, feature real cumshots, and boast a terrific array of positions ensuring you won't get too bored. Performance-wise, she's not half bad. I enjoyed getting to see her in a more relaxed and natural setting to let her personality shine. If you've been waiting to check out Noa, this is a great film to start with. Simple but effective.

I was definitely not expecting to like this video much at all but it turned out to be rather decent all things considered. The premise follows Ren as she plays a teacher who is transferred to a school on a remote island and becomes the advisor to the swim club. With no other women on the island, the guys can't help themselves to fondle and ultimately fuck her. I don't really care for these darker type of plots and swimsuits aren't my thing at all. But I'll admit that Ren does look quite nice in a few of them, especially the one at the end which is featured on the cover. The lighting in that scene is also particularly nice.

The settings are also varied and the pacing is well balanced across the board. Unfortunately, her performance doesn't exactly match up. She's appropriately submissive at least but doesn't really get involved at all. She's lacking engagement and enthusiasm with middling facial expressions to boot. Back to the positives, the action is excellent. It mainly consists of three full sex scenes and a brief stimulation scene. I loathe that S1 always seems to throw these in as they're often a waste of time. The last sex scene is the main highlight as it features her getting gangbanged and receiving multiple loads on her tits. Overall this was a pleasant surprise and while it still contains some of my least favorite themes, its execution is on the mark and Ren looks fantastic making for some great eye candy.

Including this one is a bit of cheating, as I believe it came out in November instead of January. Either way, it turned out to be pretty damn good so I just had to include it. The setup casts the duo as two therapists who specialize in treating their clients with the help of their big asses and...pissing. As the cover hints, you can expect piss play to be a major element here. This includes pissing in a glass as the guy drinks it or letting loose in his face. I'm not a huge fan of this fetish but I didn't mind it too much. Now despite this featuring two actresses, they don't appear onscreen together, which may disappoint some. What isn't a letdown though is their acting. Both deliver a great performance with Mizuki shining just a little brighter. They're each pretty expressive and share excellent enthusiasm overall. This is most notable in the last Mizuki sex scene when she's riding cowgirl and pounding the guy into the dirt.

That leads me to the action which is fantastic. It consists of two parts focusing on each actress separately. They both feature two sex scenes and a blowjob scene featuring a heavy focus on piss play. With each part over two hours long this does mean the pacing is a tad slow and dragged out at times but it's never too egregious. What I especially love is the massive ass focus on display from start to finish. Every sex scene showcases their top-tier booties with plenty of cowgirl and doggystyle. Now I can't forget to mention the terrific production values too. The setting variety is admittedly very limited and the lighting is equally samey but it looks amazing in its own right as it highlights their amazing asses in the best way possible. The outfits also frame their asses perfectly too whether it be with their panties pulled to the side or by wearing a mini skirt. I'm glad I eventually stumbled upon this one as it turned out to be incredible and serves as a phenomenal showcase of their S-tier asses.
