Another month is upon us which means yet another sleight of new JAV films to check out. As is always the case I will review 10 films that came out this month and give my overall thoughts ending with a score at the end. I'll be kicking this edition off with the always popular S1 superstar, Rara Anzai.

"Close-up Living With The World's Best Girlfriend And Her Godly Tits"

Rara Anzai's past several releases have been pretty underwhelming for a variety of reasons. I went into this film with tempered expectations and came away...whelmed. The plot is very straightforward with Rara playing your live-in girlfriend all shot entirely in POV. Admittedly it is a favorite theme of mine and it hits all the notes you'd expect really boasting scenes of you two eating, bathing, and fucking together. Now for a theme like this, you really need a strong and engaging performance to bolster it but sadly Rara fails to impress. I don't think her acting is terrible per se and she does have some nice moments. However, her facial expressions are all one-note for the most part and her enthusiasm just isn't convincing. 

There just doesn't seem to be a connection between her and the scene. Maybe the action fares a bit better? Sorta. It features 5 scenes in all consisting of 2 sex scenes, 2 handjob scenes, and a paizuri scene. On one hand, the sex scenes are enjoyable and make great use of POV. The paizuri scene is solid as well but the handjob scenes are a complete waste of time. The production values are mostly on point with great POV camerawork and smooth pacing. But the lighting is a little off here as some scenes feel way too unnaturally bright for a theme like this one that should go for a more subdued tone. In the end, it's a fine enough film that makes for a good watch but is lacking some essential ingredients like a top-notch performance.

"We're Sharing Rooms And Having A Cunt Cumming Cherry Popping Harlem Good Time!"

I can't say that I'm the biggest fan of AIKA but upon discovering this film I knew I had to check it out given it centers around pegging and stars Kurea Hasumi. I'm glad I did as it's very good. The premise seems to feature you and your two office co-workers going out for some drinks before returning to your hotel room. They start getting a little frisky and before you know it they're fingering you and fucking you silly. I'm referencing all this in first-person as most of the film besides the last scene is all shot in POV which is a nice touch, especially for pegging scenes as it's pretty uncommon to see. It's a decent enough setup that makes for some terrific threesome action.

Every scene here is a threesome chock full of anal fingering, toy use, and pegging. In addition, there's still some great regular sex to be had. It gets pretty wild such as in one scene where Kurea is pegging the guy from behind while he's fucking AIKA doggystyle. It makes full use of its theme for sure. Helping to bolster this over-the-top action is their equally energetic performances. Both are super engaging, enthusiastic, and make each scene incredibly entertaining. There's no dull moment here. The production values fare pretty well although the setting gets a little old. Now admittedly if you don't enjoy pegging/anal play then avoid this one but if you're a fan then it's an absolute must-watch.

"First Anal for the Massive Ass!"

This was definitely one of the more high-profile anal debuts this year for sure. We all know how I feel about anal in JAV. Is this one any different than the rest? Somewhat but not really. Much like any anal debut film, there is no plot to speak of. It's all about anal sex pretty much as you'd expect. It's pretty vanilla in that regard at least with no weird enema-type stuff that's prevalent in other anal films. First off let's talk about her performance. Overall she's not too bad at least as far as this genre goes where you typically see the actress in tears and being very submissive. Maria doesn't do any of that really and manages to take it rather well. She won't blow you away or anything but she's certainly passable.

Now the action is where this film begins to lose me. In total there are 2 sex scenes with one being a threesome featuring some DP with everything else just being anal play. For what it's worth the sex scenes are actually not too bad with the big highlight being the final scene which may be one of my favorite DP scenes in JAV. The issue is that there's over an hour of dull anal play and toy use. It's painfully slow and really ruins the pacing. Lastly, the rest of the production values are all relatively solid with nice camerawork and a stunning wardrobe for Maria. She looks fantastic here, especially in the last scene. BLK-533 stands as one of the better anal debut films but it's still bogged down by the horrible pacing and dull anal play.

"Frustrated Wives Pick Up Guys At The Hot Springs! Chubby Colossal Tits Sandwich SEX"

This is by far one of the meatiest collaborations this year. The tagline "Breast Sandwiches" is spot on for sure. The premise for this one is pretty fun as it casts Nanami and Shiori as two sexually frustrated housewives who travel to a hotsprings to have some fun with random guys. As expected this involves plenty of paizuri and of course, full-on sex. I myself don't particularly care for hotsprings themed films so I wasn't too keen on that aspect but thankfully everything else here is pretty enjoyable starting with the action. Every scene features the pair together which is very nice. The scenes range from 2 threesome sex scenes to 2 paizuri/outercourse type scenes. There's really not much to complain about except some slow pacing at times.

The production values fair well enough for the most part. The lighting in general is well-executed although in the first scene it's a bit too harsh. The camerawork is nice too capturing full angles of the action. The settings are a bit dull for me personally but it's not too terrible overall. Last but not least we have their performances and both do exceptionally well. Now don't go in expecting too much interaction between the pair as that aspect is rather limited. But each does boast great enthusiasm on their own and are pretty engaging as well. I'd even say it's one of Shiori's best performances to date. With many 3P films disappointing this year, it was refreshing to see this one mostly live up to its expectations.

"The Ultimate Female Body Fetishism"

Alice Kisaki has really caught my eye this year as a new debut and it should be easy to see why. I initially wasn't too hyped about this film as it looked rather bland but upon watching it, I was pleasantly surprised. There's really no plot to speak of here with this one. It's all mainly focused on showcasing her body in close-up shots in 4k resolution. As such the action is pretty vanilla but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The film boasts an average 2-hour runtime consisting of 3 full sex scenes alongside a paizuri scene. That paizuri is admittedly pretty forgettable but the other scenes are very enjoyable especially the last scene as it features some nice clothed sex.

Now by far, the weakest element here is her super underwhelming acting. It shouldn't be too surprising but she's very lackluster overall with weak facial expressions and low enthusiasm. She's beginning to give me Rara Anzai vibes in that regard as she boasts amazing natural tits but is a poor performer. At least Alice's ass is nicer though as this film showcases it quite nicely. This leads me to the technical aspects that are good but nothing too remarkable really. The camerawork does feature some nice close-up shots of her tits and ass but at times it's a little much. Otherwise, the pacing is well balanced and provides you with plenty of juicy eye candy. Sometimes simplicity is key and this film is a great example of that.

"I Moved Into A New Place Which Turned Out To Be An Apartment Complex Filled With Nothing But Horny Busty Married Women"

Here we go again with yet another group film with some lovely busty actresses. There's been quite a few of these this year with mostly disappointing results. Will this one fare any better? The premise follows you through POV(for the most part) as you move into a new apartment building filled with horny married women who want to fuck your brains out. Sounds like a good time. The plot itself is simple but effective. Now one aspect of this film that I really was underwhelmed by was the production values, more so the lighting. In several scenes, it feels very flat and dull with a washed-out look at times. The setting variety is a little lackluster too with repeated settings. 

On the bright side, the POV camerawork is handled quite nicely. Moving onto the action which is, unfortunately, a bit disappointing. There is only one true group sex scene in the entire film. The rest consist of one-on-one sex scenes with each actress respectively and a dull group handjob scene. It feels like such a colossal waste. Even then the one group sex scene barely features any interaction between the cast and only ONE actress actually gets fucked which is Yuria while the others sit on the sideline pretty much. The chemistry between them isn't too bad at least but they're barely on-screen together to really tell anyway. Mark this as yet another disappointing group film. It has some good moments for sure but wastes some serious potential.

"Sudden Street Corner Nipple Restraint. I'll Restrain You So You Can't Move And Play With Your Nipples!"

I wasn't quite sure what I was in for with this film. The theme seemed like something up my alley with it being more femdom oriented and I just recently started watching Kasumi so I thought it'd be a good watch. It turns out I was very wrong. The premise revolves around the actresses having their way with various men here all with a major focus on nipple play and of course femdom. Personally, I was torn on the setup as I love femdom but loathe nipple play as it can be really dull. At the very least the pair deliver a solid dominant performance. They boast some nice enthusiasm on top of being super-expressive. It's easily the brightest spot of the film as the rest is sadly a letdown.

The biggest issue with this film is the awful production values. For starters, the set designs are laughably bad. Some examples include a classroom setting with a random vending machine in it with the guy tied to it and a room with absolute random shit all over and the dude sits in a shopping cart in the middle. It's some of the most bizarre settings I've ever seen. The camerawork is also terrible with horrible shots that can be either too low, too far away, or too close. Just all around very amateurish. The action is mediocre too with only two sex scenes and two awful handjob scenes that drag on for way too long. It's a complete misfire hampered by terrible technical aspects and lousy action. It's not worth your time at all.

"Reverse Bunny Sex Shop Tower"

Here we have yet another new Hana film and this one capitalizes on the hot new trend of bunny girls. CJOD-323 revolves around Hana playing a wide array of sex worker roles such as a hostess, soapland girl, and masseuse. All this while of course dressing up in a variety of bunny girl outfits. The plot isn't anything particularly innovative but it's serviceable and makes way for some enjoyable bunny girl action. Which speaking of the action, it's good but lacking a bit. I say this because 2/5 scenes are handjobs and the scene that features the cover outfit is a mere paizuri scene which is a letdown. However, the actual sex scenes fare pretty well. And the cumshots here are all real which is a big plus in this current age of JAV.

Hana's acting here is certainly a major highlight. Her bright and charming personality really shines through as she sports excellent facial expressions and engages quite nicely with each actor. She's got excellent energy all around helping to make for a terrific performance all around. Lastly, the production values are all top-notch. The settings are varied enough to keep each scene somewhat fresh. The camerawork and lighting are nice too helping to set the appropriate mood. But best of all is easily Hana's wardrobe. All the bunny girl outfits look absolutely amazing making for some stunning eye candy. Besides a few slight issues, this is a really well-executed film sure to please any avid bunny girl fan.

"Gushing with Sweat, the Married Woman Shakes Her Hips So Overwhelmingly that I Gave Her a Creampie Without Ever Moving My Own Hips"

I haven't been the biggest fan of Marina's stint with Madonna as many films feature the same sort of setup and don't let Marina take control which is something she excels at. Thankfully this film finally lets her do that in what is easily her best film in quite some time. The plot seems to center around Marina playing a married woman(what a shocker) who seduces her bro-in-law. There's not much more to it than that really besides the heavy focus on sweat which is executed brilliantly. In every scene, she is glistening in sweat which makes for some lovely visuals. As I hinted at earlier her acting is one of the best aspects here for sure. She feels really natural while boasting solid energy and taking the lead in every scene.

Seeing this side of her is a welcomed return no doubt. Another great aspect is the action. There are just 3 scenes in all but each is a full sex scene. Both the position variety and intensity are terrific. One bummer is the complete lack of real cumshots as each one is just a fake creampie. Moving onto the production values which are well-executed although with one exception. The pacing is a bit out of whack. It boasts a 2 hour and 20-minute runtime but with just 3 scenes it means there's a lot of filler in-between setting up the plot and lots of foreplay. Other than that it's satisfying with excellent lighting and camerawork that is to be expected from a Madonna film. This is a must-watch for any Marina fan. You won't be disappointed.

Hana Himesaki has been on a roll this year with many quality releases and here we have yet another one. As if one busty bombshell wasn't enough, you get two in this film. This particular film is pretty straightforward with the lovely pair playing lewd schoolgirls who love to tittyfuck. What's not to love? It's a simple but very effective plot. A big reason as to why it's so successful is their incredible acting. They both deliver exceptional performances full of energy and engagement. On top of that, they're super-expressive making each scene much more entertaining as a result. Couple that with some good chemistry and you've got a very satisfying experience.

The action is just as amazing too. It features 4 scenes that are all threesomes although one is a tittyfuck scene. All the sex scenes are executed wonderfully. They're dynamic with terrific position variety and an equal spotlight on both actresses. Another nice touch is that you'll rarely see the other actress that is not getting fucked doing nothing on the sidelines. They're always involved in the action. There is some fake cum usage which is a slight bummer though. Finally, all the technical aspects are on point with great setting variety, lewd schoolgirl wardrobe, excellent pacing, and nice lighting. This is one of my favorite films of the year honestly. Busty schoolgirls and tittyfucks make for a perfect combo.
