The premise for this list is quite simple. I have picked out 10 things in JAV that I want to see happen. Many of these can be seen as longshots admittedly but a few I believe have a decent chance of actually happening. After each entry, I'll rate how likely it is to occur. Feel free to list some of your biggest wishes down below in the comments if you'd like. With that out of the way, let's kick this off with my first wish...

Kurea Hasumi doing anal

Now admittedly I'm not a huge fan of anal at least when it comes to JAV. It's usually very unsatisfying for a variety of reasons such as very submissive acting, the forceful nature of the plot, and of course the censorship hindering the view. I'm never hyped up for any anal debut really but there's one exception to this rule. Kurea Hasumi. I believe she could knock it out of the park if the film is handled correctly. Give her a more dominant role to play and just let her do her thing. She could easily buck the trend and deliver one of the best anal films ever in JAV, although the bar isn't set very high to begin with. I feel like this has some potential to happen although maybe near the end of the career. Hopefully, that's far off in the future though.

Marina Shiraishi and Minori Hatsune freed from Madonna

It's no secret that I loathe Madonna studio. They certainly own their niche and cater to it well enough. But my main issues with Madonna are that it feels like a graveyard for actresses past their prime and every single film features the same type of plot. Usually, it boils down to cheating, drama, or NTR involving the actress playing a married woman. It's so repetitive. Both Marina and Minori were big favorites of mine but I've only watched one film a piece from them this year. I so badly wish they could be released from Madonna to shoot for another studio. They have the talent but it feels like it's going to waste here. I'm sure they got a nice contract and it's a comfy schedule for them but as a fan, it's underwhelming to say the least.

Revival of bukkake

Bukkake is a genre that is synomous with JAV. It may be a bit niche but it has been a staple for decades. However, in recent times bukkake has really fallen off. If you go back about 10 or so years ago you had several prominent studios producing bukkake such as Moodyz and Ideapocket along with a few lesser-known ones like WAAP. Fast forward to now and you're lucky to see one new bukkake a film a month. The decline was most likely brought on by declining sales and interest. The genre is even more buried now thanks to the unfortunate impact of Covid. Given the current state of things, I don't see bukkake making a return to glory anytime soon sadly. It's a bummer as it's a huge favorite of mine but it may be a thing of the past now.

Maria Nagai film with Marrion

Maria Nagai is one of my biggest guilty pleasures when it comes to JAV. I realize she is pretty controversial given her "enhancements" but she is still absolutely one of my biggest favorites right now. Given the asstronomical size of her ass, it makes sense that she would shoot for Marrion who specializes in the art of booty. They really know the best way to showcase a nice ass with exquisite lighting and camerawork. Seems like this would be a perfect fit for Maria. I think this eventually has a decent chance of happening but maybe not right now since she is currently exclusive to Kira Kira. Perhaps once her contract ends with them she'll be approached by Marrion.

Hitomi going freelance like Julia

It's no secret that I am one of the biggest Hitomi fans around. But as much as I love her, I can't help but feel like a change of pace would be quite beneficial to her. I wouldn't mind seeing her take a path as Julia has. Julia was exclusive to Moodyz and Oppai before finally becoming freelance and I think it's helped to breathe some new life into her career. Seeing Hitomi with some new studios would be a great change of pace. Don't get me wrong, Hitomi's current videos are still good for the most part but I still crave something a bit different. I'm not too hopeful though as I'm sure Hitomi feels pretty comfortable with Oppai and they wouldn't want to let go of their one remaining exclusive.

Return of AV Open

Oh, how I miss AV Open. For those unaware, the AV Open was an awards contest for the JAV industry. Companies were invited to enter a video in the contest and the video with the most number of sales during a set period would be the winner. Eventually, more categories would be added in the future like best fetish or variety video. 2019 was the last time we saw this event and sadly there doesn't seem to be any plans to bring it back. I think maybe in the future it will return at least, hopefully. It was always great as it pushed studios to really give it their all with their entries. Whether that be debuting a hyped-up new actress, assembling an all-star cast, or just pushing the boundaries of a typical JAV film in one way or another.

Anri Okita comes out of retirement

We all have our favorite retired actresses that we all wish would make a comeback someday. For me, my number one choice shouldn't be a surprise. It's none other than Anri Okita. Since calling it quits back in 2015 she has remained quite busy. She's produced music, has an Onlyfans account, streams on Twitch, runs a Youtube channel(although barely used anymore), and most recently has gotten into NFT. All this is on top of getting married and having a baby girl. I realize the likelihood of her returning is next to zero but I can dream, right? Her comeback would probably be the most hyped return JAV has ever seen in modern times. But given since her retirement, she has delisted most of her films. The outlook isn't very good for this one.

Rara Anzai timestop film

We all know Rara Anzai isn't the best performer around but I would love to see her try her hand at a timestop film. Her acting or should I say, non-acting, is a bit of a meme at this point. I think the hate towards her acting is a bit too much at times but she's still pretty bad all things considered. That's why I am curious to see how she would handle herself within the timestop genre. Would she be able to control herself and maintain her composure while keeping absolutely frozen? Personally, I think it would not go well. I feel like she would constantly break character and ruin the immersion. But who knows, maybe she'd deliver the best performance of her career. S1 doesn't really do timestop films so it's doubtful this will happen anytime soon.

R18 Auctions like DMM/Fanza

This is something that I really wish R18 would try out. For those that don't know DMM/Fanza holds auctions on their website for JAV actresses used clothing. These are mainly worn items from a JAV shoot like a piece of lingerie or panties. It functions like any online bidding website similar to Ebay with the highest bidder winning the item. I would really love it if R18 would start doing auctions like this for the U.S audience. I fully realize that the market is a bit different here and the interest probably wouldn't really be there but still. It couldn't hurt to try it a few times and see how it goes. It's a great way for mega fans to support their favorite actress and own a piece of them, like a sports player with their jersey.

Nina Nishimura interracial

This feels like it should be an almost certain eventuality. Nina strikes me as someone who would be okay with shooting an interracial film. She has been around in the JAV industry for quite some time now since 2010. On one hand, you can't help but feel like if was she was down with the idea of it then it probably would have happened already. But maybe she just hasn't been approached with the opportunity yet. A studio like Fitch or Wanz Factory would be ideal. Just as long as it's not a studio like Attackers where the plot would be dark and not too enjoyable. Out of all the wishes on my list here, I think this has one of the best chances to happen. Hopefully, I'm not wrong.
