Hitomi's latest film features an enticing premise at first glance. It centers around some sneaky sex which is something her films have always strived with. However, this one features the added caveat of it mainly being underneath the covers. Does that enhance the enjoyment or ultimately get in the way? Let's find out!

Plot

The plot here centers around a man living with his bro and his girlfriend played by the lovely Hitomi Tanaka of course. She accidentally catches him jerking off and in the moment he grabs her taking her under the covers. Once underneath they eventually have sex as you'd expect. The rest of the film follows the pair fooling around with much of the emphasis on sneaky, undercover sex. One fun highlight is when the guy's parents walk in on her giving you a tittyfuck under the covers. Other than this one scene though, the execution leaves much to be desired. It had potential but ultimately squanders it with messy implementation as you'll see.

Sex

Now here is where the wheels really start to fall off. The film does feature a nice number of scenes with 5 in total. They range from 3 sex scenes to a paizuri scene and a masturbation scene. That latter scene is completely worthless and is a waste of time. The paizuri scene is probably the highlight due to the risk involved as I mentioned up above. Now when it comes to the sex scenes it's pretty rough. 2/3 are all exclusively under the covers scenes which makes for a near-unwatchable experience due to the very constricted movement. It's mind-boggling how Oppai could think this was a good idea. Sure in practice it may be nice but as a viewer, it's incredibly unsatisfying.

Production Quality

There's one massive glaring issue with the production quality and it's the lousy camerawork. All the under the cover scenes suffer from abysmal shots that give you an extremely poor angle of the action or are just shot way too damn close. It's not enjoyable at all. Also, the location variety is really lacking as many scenes reuse the same exact room and bed over and over again. Now I will say the lighting is generally good and the pacing is fine with no scenes overstaying their welcome. Hitomi's wardrobe is also great with some sexy outfits for sure. And one nice touch is that many scenes incorporate some sweating which is always welcomed. But those first two issues really hamper the film.

Overall Satisfaction

Before going into this film I was hesitant as I was afraid the theme would negatively impact the action and enjoyment. And it turns out my suspicions were correct as the result is one of my least favorite Hitomi films of the year for sure. Now one aspect that I haven't touched upon yet is her acting which is hit-or-miss. In the first scenes she's really lackluster but to be fair that can be chalked up to the constrictions of being kept under the covers. When she's finally free she does become more engaging and energetic. That being said it's still not anything too impressive or memorable. In the end, this film is a big misfire. The last two scenes are enjoyable but the rest is entirely skippable. This is all thanks to its terrible theme, constrictive action, poor camerawork, and repetitive settings. Unfortunately, I have to say it's a complete pass unless you're a diehard Hitomi fan.
