SOD LAND - Adult theme park to meet your favorite JAV actresses in Tokyo

On October 10th 2020 a special "adult theme park" is opening right in the heart of Tokyo's red light district, Kabukicho, SOD LAND. Why go to some other theme park with the main attraction being a big talking mouse when you can go to SOD LAND and talk to JAV actresses. You can go there to meet your favorite actresses, meet girls who just debuted with SOD, get food and drink, as well as buy merchandise at the gift shop. Yep, a much better time spent at this theme park rather than the other for basically the same thing, excluding the rides.

SOD LAND's was built on SOD, aka Soft On Demand, one of Japan's biggest JAV studios, past experience of opening casual bars with the main feature being SOD actresses serving patrons alcoholic drinks. The first SOD bar, the "SOD Female Employee Bar," was opened in May 2018 in Akihbara. It's where JAV fans already generally went to so they could meet their favorite JAV stars at their fan events. The next bar, "Syain Bar" was opened in May 2019 in Shin-Nakano on the first floor of SOD headquarters.

Ganari Takahashi, the founder of SOD, proposed the idea of SOD LAND and chose Kabukicho as the place to open it as Kabukicho has taken good care of him in the past with lots of fun, drinking, and playing. That's usually a good combination and I can't say I disagree.

SOD LAND will be an entire five story building, including its basement. Each floor will have a different theme to it but the main point is to have lots of fun talking to SOD actresses and to drink and eat.

As you can see by the picture there will be COVID-19 precautions put into place to protect the health and well being of the customers, actresses, and employees. SOD spared no expense and has implemented protection you won't likely see at most places. They have "Sense Thunder" which will be able to measure a customers temperature, a "Three of defense" system that sprays disinfectant, and "Aero Shield" which is their special air filtering air condition system. It's a big bar designed with the customer in mind so they will be at ease while drinking during the COVID-19 era. There will be partitions setup everywhere so while there is no direct touch contact with the actresses you'll be able to get very up close to them.

Let's talk about the different floors in this adult theme park next.

Starting with the basement, we have the "Newcomer Adult Film Actress Floor," which is exactly that. You'll be able to meet the girls who recently made their debut, maybe even just before they have their debut, with SOD. You'll be able to talk to them in a casual bar setting. I believe this is a great way for new girls to get a better fan base by appealing to customers on a possible more intimate and frequent level than just at fan events. This is also great for patrons who become fans of these fresh faced JAV actresses as they get to spend more time to get to know them in a comfortable setting and at a longer time than the normal 5-8 minutes you get at fan event. Patrons can also build a rapport with these debutants as they can show their support early in their career so the actresses recognize them by visiting when that specific girl is working. It's a win-win situation.

The next floor up is the first floor. It's here where you can get general information about SOD LAND, settle your bill / tab, buy merchandise at the gift shop, gacha capsule machines (let's see if they add a machine just for used panties, yes, those are real in Japan), and even have fun with some sticker machines (take pictures in a booth and it'll be printed out in small wallet or postage stamp sized pictures for you to keep as a memento of the best theme park in Tokyo).

On the second floor you get to talk to the ladies that work the more "adult related jobs" in the sex industry. The industry includes being a hostess and a erotic masseuse. These sort of jobs are called "fuzoku" in Japan and these lovely ladies will talk and drink with you here on the "Kakubutsu Salon" floor. If anything, this is a great way to get a little more insider scoop on the industry without feeling like you're wasting your time as they're their to talk to you and not to provide you with "service."

With the third floor we see the "Syain Bar" that's originally in Shin-Nakano have a sister location in Kabukicho. This is where the top level SOD actresses are who you can talk to while enjoying a refreshing drink and delicious food. Of course this floor would be named the "Famous Adult Actress Floor." This is where, according to SOD, is the place to experience "A space of dreams where you can become friends with famous adult actresses while drinking." Not a bad way to phrase it SOD.

On the top fourth floor we find the "SILENT BAR." It's not some secret innuendo you're reading, it's literally what it is in the name. At this bar you'll get to enjoy watching actresses prepare drinks for you from behind a one way mirror in silence. You're expected to just gaze at the beauty in front of you who's making your refreshing drinking without talking. Oh, did I mention the actresses will be wearing a bikini while they're making your drink? It'll look similar to this.

So what's the cost of going to such a sexy, delicious, and COVID-19 prepared place? Will it cost you your life savings like it does at a hostess bar? Nope! Besides the admission fee of 500 yen (which is charged for every 30 minutes you're in the building) you're just paying for whatever food and drink you buy. That's a really great deal!! You get to talk to sexy JAV actresses for a while, have a meal, and walk out with paying less than what you would if you had gone to one of their fan events (depending on what you order and how long you stay of course). They'll likely do events like birthday events, cosplay, photo sessions, and more as well to keep the customers happy.

While SOD LAND was likely designed and will be implemented with Japanese customers in mind there could be a possibility they'll have English speaking actresses on hand as well. If they're anything like the maid cafes in Japan that realized overseas customers can be a good money maker they'll likely make a basic English guide printout, have English menus for their food and drink, and like I said, bring English speaking actresses. It remains to be seen as SOD LAND has not opened yet and Japan is still currently closed off to many countries due to COVID-19.
