Summer Blockbuster Riri Nanatsumori Fashion model, TV host, MV performer joins JAV

In this darkest of years, a bright star is born! Is that a premature euphoria?  I need a moment... (alright)

Remember 2016?  Celeb-turned-JAV were everything.  Yua Mikami and Shoko Takahashi were superheros, and every agency and studio has a celeb-turned-JAV of their own.  Unfortunately most of them were celebs that no one has heard of (or care about) and didn't last long.  It turns out celeb credentials is wonderful as launch booster, but if the rocket itself doesn't have oompf, it come back down to Earth right away, minus the spactular boom.  By now, Yua Mikami is arguably JAV Queen, Takasho ̄is a solid top rank, Miharu Usa 羽咲みはる and Nakamura Miu 仲村みう are still exclusive contract idol with top studio S1.  Most everyone else have disappeared.

So by now we don't get unknown celebs coming out of the woodworks every other day, thankfully.  So when S1 announce a big summer debutante with "Celeb" credentials, everyone sits up.  Well first thing to do is to check her Twitter account, that's the first impact already, her Twitter age is 10 years and she has over 117,000 followers already, a number that would make many JAV veterans envious.  But scrolling down, her earliest tweet was on July 13, so obviously there was some massive history cleansing going on. So basically what she did was, take her existing, rather successful, account, erase everything, but keeping the followers and turn it into her JAV twitter account.  Of course that means all her existing followers would know right away she went to the "dark side" but in this day and age, someone with legit credentials cannot count on keeping the past a secret anyway.  Indeed as S1 posted promo for her debut title online, in less then 60 minutes, her pre-porn identity had been discovered:

Riri Nanatsumori is legit fashion model Reika Matsumoto 松本鈴香, coming straight from her wikipedia page: a haafu of Japanese father and Filipino mother, she was exclusive contract model for CHOKi CHOKi girls (a magazine that was published from 2009 to 2016) and MC'ed for TV Asahi's Music-Ru TV.

She also appeared in MV and spot commercials, just plug "松本鈴香" in Google you will get lots of hits. As of now we still haven't heard her story why she's joining JAV, but you can count on lots of promo gestures from S1 and herself.  IMHO her celeb cred is loads more legit than any JAV idol in memory, pre-JAV Yua Mikami was only one of the many performers for a grunty pop group AKB48 which is much more about participation then talent.  Shokotas' model career was also fairly limited.  Reika Matsumoto has the TV, magazine model and music tri-factor already.  So it's sure to be quite a talking point for this summer.  

Riri Nanatsumori 七ツ森 りり's representative is the top agentcy T-Powers, also home to fellow celeb-JAV Nakamura Miu 仲村みう.  Count on great things (and savvy promotional activities) for her.  In the meantime, S1's own blurb for SSNI-854 only says 25 years old Riri started modelling at the age of 14 and appeared in multiple media (all confirmed by now, of course S1 follows industry SOP of giving no specifics), and she had only sexual relationship with two men previously.  Setting up expectation that her sexual performance will be amateurish despite her 10 years professional career.  With her strong potential, S1 even excluded any nudity from the released trailer, giving only still shots for her figure. 

Hmm her measurements (89F-62-90) and nude shots aren't particularly impressive.  But remember with celebs, first of course there's the gawking factor (which will wear out pretty fast, as we already discussed at the top of the article) and then I look for a certain intangiable "star quality", someone who electrifies the air despite not necessarily being the most beautiful person in the room.  It's the same star quality that endeared both Mikami and Shokotas to me.  Not surprisingly her debut title SSNI-854 already captured number 1 sales ranking on DMM/Fanza for the last week (at the time of writing July 24th).  Click the link below for her video on R18.com.
