Some women age like fine wine, gracefully entering maturity or even looking ageless forever. Other women... let's just say you can tell they aren't who they used to be. Today we're counting down the top 10 actresses who have aged well.

For the sake of this post, we're only considering actresses who meet the following criteria:

1. Are still active (which we'll define as a release within the past four months)
2. Are at least 30 years old
3. Debuted at least 10 years ago

Honourable Mentions Who Didn't Meet The Criteria

Considering the strict criteria we have I thought it would be fun to start off with some names that didn't make the cut.

Aki Sasaki

Aki looks great and has since her debut. She was definitely the kind of MILF you want to see debut, where she certainly has some maturity to her but also still looks fantastic. She debuted at 35 and when she retired just shy of 40 she looked just as good as ever. I don't know about you but at 40 I don't think about women looking quite this nice. Hell, you can see just as much maturity in women 10 years younger than her. If Aki isn't someone proving that age is just a number then I don't know who is. Aki unfortunately missed the list since she hadn't been around for 10+ years, not to mention the fact that she's retired.

Aika Yumeno

Aika Yumeno is one of the first names that comes to mind, holy hell is she looking fantastic these days. Seriously, maturity has done wonders do Aika over the years. That's not to say she wasn't great before but honestly I think she just keeps looking better and better. Unfortunately for this list she's still under 30 (and also hasn't been in the industry 10+ years), which is why she missed the list, but considering how great she looks I can't wait to see her when she does turn 30.

Meguri

Meguri is someone I have consistently listed as the prettiest actress. I think she's absolutely amazing and she looks fantastic, even now in her early 30s. Early Meguri is still pretty but I think there's a night and day difference from where she started. Personally, around four of five years after her debut is where she crossed this line of "holy moly is she pretty" and has remained stunning since. She easily would have made the list had I considered her an active actress; her last release was well over a year ago and she's just kind of coasting these days, not really sure if she wants to go back or not. She still does these Fanza live chats and there's hopes for an eventual return, but for now she's just not what I would call active.

Top 10

10. Yui Hatano

Yui is one of the most famous names in all of JAV, perhaps a contender for best of all time. When I look back on her early career, well, she definitely didn't look like she does today. She's definitely gotten a lot better with age, especially when comparing to her debut. Even if Yui isn't someone that comes to mind for me when I think about the most beautiful women in JAV, she definitely comes to mind as someone who still looks great. That's really worth its weight in gold, being able to keep this up for such a long time while doing so many videos, and not just keep her looks but look even better. Especially with Yui showing no signs of leaving any time soon I'll be very interested to see what happens when she turns 40.

9. Arisa Hanyu

Like Yui, Arisa also wasn't someone I had immediately thought of when I started this list, but I'm glad I came around to her because Arisa looks great these days. You can definitely see how maturity has affected her, and certainly sure does look more mature compared to her early days. That being said, I think she looks better than she ever has nowadays. Much like many others on this list, keeping her banging body and looking even better made her a fairly easy inclusion on the list.

8. Ayaka Tomoda

Early Ayaka was definitely a bit rough around the edges. By the middle of her career she had become quite attractive, but later on in her career hot damn has she become nice. She's got a solid look that screams youthful MILF, exactly the thing I love. While I've certainly watched some of Ayaka in hear earlier days she's grown on me a lot more lately, particularly because of how nice she's looked as she's aged. Ayaka's definitely straddling the line between youthful and mature and I absolutely love it. It's this perfect look that would let her play all sorts of roles, and even though she's now at Dhalia (who tends to do MILF things) she's been fitting in right at home and doing wonderful things.

7. Minori Hatsune

Minori is someone I absolutely think has been getting better with age. Some people might not agree with my opinion but I think she looks as good as ever these days and she's 34 years old (edit: updated to reflect her correct age). I'm sure some will argue and say that prior to her retirement was peak Minori, and while I respect that opinion it just isn't something I agree with. I guess for me part of it is just that when you see that subtle hint of maturity it changes things. Suddenly she's not just "a hot woman" she's "a hot older lady" and those are far more rare. I've been loving her redebut and if she can keep up her looks like this I'll be excited for years to come.

6. Julia

Early Julia wasn't that great. There, I said it. I understand what people saw in her, truly I do, but I just can't bring myself to watch that content. As she's gotten older though, holy hell did she become stunning. I wouldn't even question you if you said she was objectively the prettiest actress in the industry in the middle of her career, peak Julia was amazing. These days Julia's age is certainly catching up to her, but not in a bad way. Yes, you can see the maturity in her but that doesn't mean she isn't still banging. It's probably not mentioned all that often but Julia's said she wants to stay in the industry as long as she possibly can, even when she's a frail old lady. I don't know about you guys but when Julia turns 50 I'll probably end up developing a thing for grannies. 

5. Hitomi

Say what you will about my bias for Hitomi but if there's one thing that's true it's that over a dozen after her debut she still looks great. I will admit that during her debut she wasn't anything more than a pair of huge tits but she's come a long way since then. You can really see how her transformation over time has been great, becoming more and more beautiful as she ages. Especially being able to maintain that physique of hers, she's still every bit that slim and stacked eighth wonder of the world. It's crazy to think about Hitomi being in the industry for over a dozen years and still going strong, and if she can keep looking like this I hope she stays for another dozen.

4. Mako Oda

I don't know about you guys but Mako is definitely someone who embodies age is just a number. I always do a double take when I see her age, which she'll be turning 38 this year. I mean seriously, for someone who's nearly 40 she looks amazing. That's not to mention the fact that in the past five years I can't tell that she's aged a day. I think for me a big thing has been how much better she's looked from the start of her career. The maturity she's grown into has definitely suited her well and is a big reason why I watch her as much as I do. When I'm itching for "MILF but not really" it's hard not to go straight to Mako, especially with how banging the rest of her body is. I really hope she's still going strong when she's 40 cause I'm sure a switch in my brain will flip at that age and I'll be loving her even more.

3. Tsubomi

In my latest sales report I commented on Tsubomi entering her 15th year as an actress, calling her an ageless wonder. I absolutely stand by that, she just doesn't seem to age anymore. She's definitely got a bit of maturity to her if you look real close but it's easy to not notice it if you're not specifically looking. Seriously though, even if you look at videos from 10 years ago she looks like the same person. I don't know about you but if I could go 10 years without aging I'd sign up on the spot. Who knows, maybe Tsubomi drank from the fountain of youth or made a deal with the devil or something; I'd probably believe either one if you said it with a straight face. Tsubomi's still in her early 30s so she's not exactly old but I'd still love to see her in another 5-10 years and see if she can still defy aging.

2. Ai Sayama

Ai Sayama is without a doubt someone who has gotten better with age and I think everyone knows it too. On debut she wasn't anything special but just a few short years later she had become someone you had to know. I think the third release I linked above, her GES entry in 2015, was when I really started to notice how great she looked. It was like a switch in my brain where she had gone from "eh she's alright" to "holy smokes she's hot as hell". These days she's matured quite a bit but she still looks as great as ever. Even with short hair you still have to love her, she looks absolutely fantastic. One can only pray to the gods that Ai continues to keep getting better with age.

1. Hibiki Otsuki

No actress has had quite as dramatic a change (for the better) as Hibiki Otsuki. From her early days as a gal all the way to where she is now she's definitely aged insanely well. As a debut actress I definitely wouldn't have looked twice, and honestly speaking neither would I have when she was a gal, but by the middle of her career she was easily one of the prettiest women around. Probably many people don't realize that Hibiki debuted as a gal, doing uncensored work at that; what a far cry she is from those days now. At her age now she's finally starting to show some maturity and I've been loving every minute of it. I mean seriously, she looks absolutely incredible these days and there's a good reason I listed her as the second prettiest actress around not too long ago. Hibiki is just an absolute gem and hopefully like her BFF I listed above, Yui Hatano, the pair stays in JAV for another decade or more.
