Intro

Kaho Imai debuted back in 2019 as an exclusive actress at SOD right at the beginning of the year. She debuted in January of that year and was freelancing by the spring. By the end of the year she had easily become a pretty popular name, reaching the 57th on the DVD rankings that year. Clearly people had seen what she was about and liked what they saw because by the next year she was up to 20th on the list, and has consistently maintained being a top 100 actress.

These days Kaho is not only a popular freelancer but a successful one. It can be easy to just look at my sales report, see Kaho at the top, and call it a day, but when you read between the lines you realize she's really doing quite well. It's not uncommon to see her alongside various other actresses that are household names domestically, like AIKA, Nenne Tanaka, Kurea Hasumi, etc. She's practically got her pick of the litter when it comes to her costars and that's a really great thing she's got going. Not just that but she stars in a few videos each month: enough that she won't likely burn out from overworking herself, but enough that there's always something interesting coming out.

Kaho's reasonably active on social media and comes across like a lot of other actresses do. She seems pretty chill as a person and has a pretty small circle of friends. You can see her a few times with Ichika Matsumoto, fellow actress who she actually has finally worked with after having wanted to for a while. I always find it great to see actresses just being normal people and it makes you enjoy them so much more.

Physical

Obviously the first thing about Kaho is her dark, tanned skin. It's not often you get actresses with this look and you can probably count the number of popular ones with your hands (most notably AIKA and Rena Fukiishi, but other names like Ranka or REMI also come to mind). It makes her very unique as an actress in a way that can immediately turn people off. I'm not a huge fan of tanned actresses myself but Kaho's is not all that bad. She makes it work, I think partially because it's not always that pronounced and in your face. That being said, Kaho does a ton of videos and has variety on her tan, all the way from extremely pronounced to very soft.

Kaho Imai's boobs are a modest 88 G cup. Those are right around where I start really enjoying boobs and I quite like Kaho's boobs. There's a good amount of jiggle to them and they definitely hit the spot. Kaho's got a lot going on physically but I'm pretty happy that her boobs suit her. Of course, if you ask her (and we kind of did), she called them gorgeous.

Kaho's hair has also been something intriguing about her as she has had it at different lengths throughout her career, from chin length to a bit shorter to well past her shoulders. I find actresses that have variety like this quite enthralling because that variety can make them feel like a totally different actress. I know Kaho prefers it on the shorter side (and you see that prominently in her videos as she often has it on the shorter side) which is A-okay with me since it seems to suit her, although I do wish she had more with the more disheveled look.

Especially when coupled with the variety of Kaho's gal looks, there's actually a really wide range of ways she can come across.

Kaho's ass is also pretty awesome. It's definitely one of those asses that are easy to overlook, and when you see how nice it is the only thing to do is a double take. There are lots of great ass focused content from her that just makes you want to watch it. 

Performing

As a performer Kaho has always struck me as being a little underwhelming. She always seems to be a bit hollow with her performances, not quite putting in enough expressions or energy to really make them pop. It's hard to say why she performs that way but you can always tell she's a little uncomfortable going all out.

One place she does seem to do better at is being a bratty schoolgirl. She stars in a lot of schoolgirl type videos and those seem to suit her quite well, especially if they put a focus on the gal look at the same time. You tend to see that more in younger people so the two complement each other quite nicely. I think part of her performing well in it comes from a comfort level she's built up simply because she's doing it all the time.

Another place I think she does a bit better is in more seductive older roles. While she be unsatisfying if she's supposed to be assertive or dominant, a more sultry perspective can definitely work because it's not as demanding.

Recommendations

If you're looking for a great solo video from her then look no further than this. As I mentioned Kaho isn't the best at expressing herself so it certainly helps when you mix great directing and put less emphasis on her needing to perform. This style of video has her stealing way the boyfriend with her killer body. The risk factor was just amped up to 10 in this one and offset a lot of mediocrity that Kaho might have otherwise had. Kaho's performance might be categorized as more seductive than anything, and while it's not my favourite style for this series it does work to some extent. There was a lot of hot action whether it was sex in the tub or a blowjob underneath the kitchen table. Simply great content and that you can't go wrong with, especially if you're a fan of this series.

If you're not much of a fan of Kaho yet then perhaps watching her with another great actress might help convince you. Starring alongside one of her debut classmates Ruka Inaba is sure to please a lot of people. This one had more of the schoolgirl vibe I mentioned she so commonly does, and even though it's not at school that vibe came out in both their appearances (with their uniforms) and their performances. I found the plot went over extremely well giving lots of good opportunities for the both of them. The video also did an excellent job of showing the passing of time and creating a sense of how much sex they were having, showing people casually lying around, worn out. I felt like it helped create a lot of focus on just a single actress at a time while also making sure the other wasn't being an awkward third wheel. Schoolgirl really suits Kaho and she does a lot of it, but I find it can be difficult to do that theme well without being at a school; this is not a video that struggles in that department. If you want to see that bratty schoolgirl vibe this is easily a fantastic one to watch.

Conclusion

Kaho has always struck me as gal for non-gal fans. The simple truth is that the tanned skin is what matters the most out of a gal actress and all actresses with tanned skin get lumped into a group together, whether they do or don't fit the entire aesthetic. Kaho has always been on the milder side of it which I think has always been to her benefit. Any seems to be enough for gal fans while Kaho's milder qualities attract a lot more people who don't like the look. At the same time I think there's a lot of room for gals to succeed. The number of top tier gals seems disproportionate to the number of gal fans, I mean, who can you name after AIKA... probably Kaho is the second name that comes to mind.

I definitely think one of the best qualities about Kaho is how well balanced she is. She's attractive in general whether it's her nice ass, big boobs, or hot face, but more importantly none of them overshadow the others. With someone like Yuria Yoshine (who I reviewed for a You Should Be Watching post earlier this year) her tits stand out a lot, but everything on Kaho is balanced. You're never watching her from behind hoping to instead see her give a blowjob, or watching her ride hoping she'd turn around for her better side to be on display. It's a criminally underrated quality and something you actually very rarely see.
