When we first started showing titles like THE ZOOMING IN SHOWCASE WITH 100 VOLUNTEERS, we weren't exactly sure how to classify them. The west pretty much has nothing like this: movies that simply consist of women stripping stark naked and showing off their private parts. It's sometimes done in a way that's *almost* (but never not quite) non-sexual.
A bit more searching has turned up the term 'Body Check' and that's what we'll stick to from here on out when describing these titles. THE ZOOMING IN SHOWCASE WITH 100 VOLUNTEERS is a 'Body Check' release. This is our fourth go-around with these types that all have been produced by RADIX and POOL CLUB. Today's update is from the latter though both companies have the same owners and the same staff so there's nothing really different between the two (in fact some months back the POOL CLUB name was retired with all titles being produced solely by RADIX now).
'Body Check' and ZENRA go back somewhat. If you've seen the PUBIC HAIR SHOWCASE and the slightly more recent 6 hour beast about anuses, then you should have a clear idea of what to expect with THE ZOOMING IN SHOWCASE.
For those who need a refresher course or those who simply have never had the opportunity until now to peruse a 'Body Check' title, the ones we've added so far are all about the extremely up-close-and-personal examination of a huge number of embarrassed and naked Japanese women. Sometimes they're full-fledged AV stars, sometimes they're the kind of women who just dabble slightly in AV, and other times they're pure amateurs with zero screen experience.
THE ZOOMING IN SHOWCASE has a little bit of everything when it comes to the types of women taking part; there are AV stars, there are amateurs, there are small girls and big girls too. About three-quarters are in their 20's and the rest can be considered milfs and beyond. Without consulting our cheat sheet, the oldest is in her mid-forties, but had a body way above average for a woman in *any* age range!
This is a four hour movie split into two updates. Even with such a massive length to play with, each woman did not have that much time to shine. There are no scenes over five minutes long. Most barely covered three minutes and a few were even shorter! One big change in THE ZOOMING IN SHOWCASE compared to the other 'Body Check' titles is the lack of a striptease. This time around most women were shown right at the beginning sitting or standing in their street clothes and after their bio appeared on screen for a few seconds (with English on-screen captioning), we immediately see them stark naked.
We think most would prefer that stripteases even if it would end up with less women taking part. All the 'Body Check' titles released after this one have included it. And on that note, yes, today and next week's update is actually the oldest of this series we will be showing. We've many more titles planned like this one and they will all be newer. Some users can tell already that this title isn't exactly new due to how some of the scenes have some extreme letterboxing going on. If POOL CLUB simply decided to group the smaller resolution scenes together, we would of recropped the titles to fill the entire screen, but they're randomly inserted amongst larger resolution scenes so there isn't much we can do that won't cost us an extreme amount of editing time.
So yes, sorry if you strongly distaste the heavy letterbox effect going on with some scenes! We're not too fond of it either and we'll try avoiding this with future updates.
THE ZOOMING IN SHOWCASE should be noted for also including two foreign women. Both were Asian (again, our apologies if you prefer to see a non-Asian taking part...*that* could be coming in a future update) with one being Korean (we think) and the other Chinese (we also think). The Korean one, "Megumi", has an extremely well put-together body. She's listed as an 'exchange student' so we really do wonder how she got involved in an AV shoot. You can see her in the second segment of the today's update.
'Body Check' titles are going nowhere! More from RADIX and POOL CLUB are coming and thanks to our licensing deal with V&R, we may be showing titles from this genre produce by them too. Adult video doesn't always need to be hardcore. Updates like today's show that simple embarrassed nudity is often just as salient.

Professional camera users sometimes use filters on lenses. A polarizing filter can eliminate glare issues. A UV filter was often used in film days to prevent damaging effects of ultraviolet rays. Neutral density filters can tamp down too much light in a scene. The Japanese have one filter specific to their country, a brick filter. This puts a brick between the camera sensor and any vulva or male genitalia. It’s a horrible filter, and it renders this particular video almost pointless.
Each scene is about five minutes long. Typically, it shows a woman fully clothed with some biographical info on the screen to categorize her. Next shot shows her naked, often with a nipple closeup. These women are claimed to be ordinary amateurs — office ladies, retail workers, etc. Cynic that I am, I suspect they are actually hostesses or industry women. The premise is that you’ll get closeup looks at private body parts.
What you will see is a lot of playing with pubic hair — if you can’t see the actual pussy, what else is there to do but twirl pubic hair? You get good closeups of nipples, assholes, armpits and sometimes faces. You’ll see a lot of coarse, dark hair, stubble, poor skin, pimply asses —- and all the things so artfully hidden in typical JAV films. There is no sex in this video, although a few of the women seem to be getting horny. One got so excited I think she was trying to audition for an actress role.
Since there is nothing sexually stimulating in this video, at least for me, I found other things to watch. I got some insights into how Japanese women care for their bodies. Some go to great lengths to show off their hands with interesting professional manicures, others do very little. I will say I did not see a dirty fingernail in the whole video, a blessing. I often look for jewelry in JAV, but there was not much in this one. Mostly a necklace here and there, but nothing interesting. No wedding rings apparent. There were no fake tits I’m happy to say. Finally, I loved not having to see tattoos; I’m not a tat fan!
The photographer/director seemed to provoke some women with leading questions. Others he mostly ignored. That seemed strange.
This video has one final conclusion for me. Most women, as I’ve always said, look better with their clothes on, especially if they’re not engaging in sex. And I know it’s a legal matter, but I’d really rather see a pussy without the brick lens filter!
