The types of Japanese AV being produced are near endless and one of our goals at ZENRA is to showcase the best of the best and the weirdest of the weirdest.  We feel we do this well.  We're one of the few subscription sites that features English subtitles and from what we've seen, we're the ONLY one actually doing a good job with it.  We want to show just how wonderful Japanese AV can be and one of the ways we do so is by teaming up with a whole ton of production companies with a strong emphasis on independent ones not owned by huge conglomerates.  It's a good feeling waking up each morning knowing we're increasing Japan's cultural footprint (granted in an unorthodox way) while also helping out the companies that need it most.

And on that note, today marks our first release by our newest licensing partner:  V&R.  "V&R" can stand for many things--some we rather not say here--but rest assured, they're one of the longest running independent AV production companies in the industry.  They got their start in the 80's before some of our readers were even born and still remain active today.

Last summer we had the chance to talk shop at their office and none other than the legend himself, KAORU ADACHI was present.  If there's a 'godfather' figure in the Japanese AV industry, it's him...without a doubt.  Although he looks rather serious in all his promotional material, he's actually a very nice guy.  We were surprised in a good way and talks went so well that our first order for titles to show on ZENRA numbers an impressive 17 (!).

Today we're showing the first of that bunch.  This is a movie we've had our eyes on for awhile ever since we translated the director's interview about it on My Dearest Desire.  AND ALSO this update marks the return of something we know many subscribers have been wanting to see at ZENRA for sometime:  bizarre 'how-to'-style AV movies.  We did them in the past and since then have taken an extended break, but now with V&R being a studio partner, we're pleased to announce we'll be showing many more movies like THE ANAL ANALYST CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING PROGRAM from here on out.

Yes, as the title implies, this is a lecture release (with some extra special visual aid scenes of course!) all about how to have proper anal relations on your own or with a partner.  The professor is played by MAKI AOYAMA and her assistant by KYOKO NAKAJIMA both of which can be considered AV legends due to their extremely long acting careers.  Extra help in the form of a 'home model' is provided by the always lovely SAYA TAKAZAWA.  It's a shame she's retired now.  SAYA has one of the best bodies to ever graze the AV stage and her anus is without peer.  Her and anal exploration go together like sushi and soy sauce without any wasabi mixed in (seriously, don't do that).

THE ANAL ANALYST is a fantastic title and we feel it really sets the stage for future ZENRA updates from V&R's impressive decade+ library.  The production is top-notch in every measure of objectivity:  lighting is great, sound is crystalline, and the mosaic--!  The mosaic is thin and as form-fitting as we've ever seen.  Yes, private parts are still covered, but V&R has done a magnificent job keeping the necessary amount of pixelation to a minimum we rarely see.  It's beautiful though we feel sorry for whomever spent the dozens of hours necessary to make this a reality.

One final positive note:  the final two scenes both contain condom-free anal sex (even with mosaic you can tell the actor isn't wearing a rubber).  We feel this makes the 'romance' even more realistic though of course the last scene is straight up zany with MAKI AOYAMA taking the role of a female boss who commences bareback anal sex with a male coworker as if she was requesting him to send out a fax.  The execution is hilarious and we think this will be one of those rare titles that injects a pleasant bit of comedy in an unforgettable way.
