I have hopes for HerHers as their sales point is the royalties to actresses (which other than being 'the right thing', might attract the core fans / whales), but their catalogue is small and let's say that there some back-end teething problems that are a tad annoying.

I was with you for a while, but I watch only a few actresses and I watched everything you have with them (Yui Hatano, AIKA, Hibiki Otsuki make up like 85-90% of my library, half of the rest is Shoko Takahashi (but I don't expect to see her here - you know why)). If you add more movies with them, I'll 99% re-join.

I find the DRM so triggering. At best it delays the video from being available on torrents/ tubes by day or so (I've seen a few hours for in demand titles), while I, a paying customer, am stuck with an app that for each storefront (installing RPlayer was a major pain) where I cannot event transfer files between my devices (PC and smartphone) but have to redownload. I get why studios are ditching Fanza (outrageous cut), but for me it just means that I abandon certain actresses whom I occasionally watch because their studio is no longer on R18. If this continues, I might be willing to pay for a single piece of software that collates all the legal JAV I have in one app (and launches relevant studio's player when I start the movie).

Do you know roughly how do digital and dvd sales compare in volume (size of the entire channels for the whole year, not individual titles).

I gravitate towards such actresses anyways (Yui Hatano, Hibiki Otsuki and AIKA - at least one of them is in 8-9 movies for every 10 movies that I own) and Nao Masaki just makes them hit even harder. I think that all my favourite movies by them were directed by her. The way she helps AIKA control everything in DVAJ-548 (came out this weekend) is just insane.
