RIP Marina Shiraishi for sure. Yes, losing bubbly Marina is tough. Even if her body type was not someone's favorite, her personality lit up the room. Maybe Madonna will figure it out, but likely they'll just have her star in the rest of their various series and then get stuck. Another winner for 2020 might be irama titles? Seems like a ton of them were made last year? They're not for everyone, but I feel like I just kept seeing them come out.

Very strong list. Kurea is incomparable. Sure there are Touka Rinnie and Akari Mitani playing in the same league, but Kurea just...has it.

Kurea Hasumi + Nao Masaki = obliterated male actors. Absolutely agree with Kurea for 2020. Excellent article. I would be curious about what type or theme or drama scenario that Kurea hasn't done (if there are any) that people would want to see her do.
