June Lovejoy is an interesting case. I imagine to Japanese fans, she is "exotic" in the same way western audiences may see Japanese actresses. She does put in the effort in her works, and can go S or M when it is called for. However, if she premiered with Brazzers or Vivid in the US, I don't know if she would be as popular. I have nothing against her and hope she continues to have success, just not for me.
Yes, I will be very curious about Aka Asuka in the long run. Its interesting to watch these rankings when you consider some actresses have been on hiatus. Touka Rinnie has been largely off the map on a pre-announced break, but she is still going strong. Ai Hoshina is barely back from a long break, which this blog covered in another article, but she has never left the top 100 I believe. Also interesting to see how high retired actresses continue to rank. Lastly, as always, I appreciate the analysis of workaholic Eimi Fukada.
Maids are awesome. So dedicated and hard working. You, and the folks in the comments, covered lots of good 2020 choices, so I'm going to wander out of 2020. For lovey dovey maid, you can't go wrong with Yui Hatano in PGD-833, Tsubomi in WANZ-602, or Arina Hashimoto in SNIS-854. For the strongest, most dedicated maids, I would go with Risa Onodera and Honoka Mihara in MIGD-765. Lastly, for a team of maids, I would go with ZUKO-110. If you ever have a team of maids, you want Kurea Hasumi in as their senpai for sure.
Welcome and great job on your article! Yui Hatano is fantastic. She is one of the best actresses out there. She really commits to her roles and does well in whatever situation she is placed in. I think it would be tough to think of a JAV scenario that she could not handle, other than perhaps very extreme content. My first time seeing her was in SDMT-039, which was released in 2010. Great energy and she meshed well with her costars. Hatano can keep working as long as she wants, I imagine.
