You hit a lot of the points of what I enjoy about Hikari. Her initial natural cute looks is what got my attention and her performance skills are definitely commendable. What makes her stand out to me is after watching her youtube channel (barely active these days), she is hilarious and quirky and it translates on screen when she has to act out roles, especially high-energy roles. I sometimes find myself amusingly distracted while watching some of her drama videos where she gets to act outlandish and it brings an element of comedy when enjoying her films. If you can, there is a clip of her on a basketball court behind the scenes where she attempts to show her maximum vertical under a basketball rim, and if you can find it, it pretty much sums up her brand of comedy/cuteness.
Sad day for sure. Aside from her gorgeous girl next door look, she was always an excellent performer. But I'm surprised by the no retirement works but I can accept her reasoning.
Thanks for the recommendations. Is it just me or did Karen, or i guess Lemon, did she remove her implants? They do look very different. I have been trying to confirm this elsewhere. What do you all think?
Iroha was was one of my first favorites (still is) in JAV back then. My favorite stint of hers was Ideapocket actually, followed by Madonna. With ideapocket, I feel like we actually can see her fun personality shine through her videos. With Madonna, she simply had a great diverse content she was able to film. I know she retired once (name change) and then had a short hiatus. But ever since she came back the last time, she no longer engaged in fan meets and other forms of SNS even though she has been consistently working the last few years. I find it a bit odd or it is simply she restructured her work/life balance? I hope she simply has a flourishing private life and is keeping her JAV career totally separate.
Hikari is definitely underrated. She is one of my current favorites. Very cute and very "girl next door" vibes from her personality.
