Hina Nanase: she can make good porn, and she has followers on SNS, those are two important skills. But in JAV (or any industry) you also need to play along with the rules and expectations (at least mostly). Maybe she has a bit of trouble on that front. As for rankings, I've seen reputable sources express skepticism about rankings. Remember it's just another marketing tool. No one is held accountable for it's accuracy.

Natsuko Mishima: she is herself quite clear that this is a retirement (引退) not a rest (休業), like previous time. At least that's the case in her heart NOW. Who knows things might change tomorrow.

Nope, not interested. JAV is just a past time, unless you are industry insider, you don't have a stake in it. Serious analysis, pffft.

Wait is there any news/gossips that Sakura Miura is no longer with Moodyz, or Moodyz stopped giving her job offers? Seems hard to believe. I tend to believe (I want to believe) in a health issue. If she returns with Moodyz, fine. If she returns with other, lower-ranked, studios, I would be a bit disappointed.

Now don't ask me for a source (and that's why I didn't put in into the blog post) but I'm guessing Nakamura-san's primary career is fuzoku and only moonlight for JAV. She looks like the type who has a devoted customer base out there.
