There will be a proper analysis of the whole Faleno/S1 story written one day, but unfortunately I feel that this is not going to be it. While I welcome this contribution for introducing the topic, and don't want to seem too critical of any entry on this blog, there seems to me to be too much reliance on "is rumoured to", and other tabloid inflections for it to be anything more than a 'gossip' type item . So my nomination, one might even say request, is that the estimable 'jta' is commissioned to undertake the serious research needed to bring this tale properly to light. The kind of thorough, scholarly approach we have come to expect from this author, is what is really needed to recount this intriguing ongoing tale!

Aye, generally agree with most of your points Zenra, and let's face, what mainstream Hollywood blockbuster wouldn't benefit from 20 minutes or more of judicious editing? I think its a modern trend, this assumption that 'more is more', whether its in Hollywood or Japanese Adult Video!

I like how your description of the Aika Yumeno film has lots of praise for her, her acting (and her thighs!), but then criticises everything about the production itself, hehe. Problem is, its a 2 hour movie blown up to a 3 with more cossies, and, of course, you can tell. However, I must disagree with you on some of the cosplay aspects, who could not like Aika in a cheerleader outfit, or indeed Tartan?As for the Kirara Asuka film, its a comedy, complete with silly costumes and the Director, Mondo, yes that Mondo, fucking Kirara while trying to keep his plastic Elvis wig on. What's not to like?
