Physical

Facially I wasn't too keen on Himari. She's just 19 years old and wasn't mature enough for my general preferences. I found they also put a decent amount of makeup on her that felt like they were trying to compensate a bit. Oh, I'm sure quite a few people will like that look, but that look isn't for me.

Himari's boobs were quite nice, I thought. They had a nice full shape to them and had a fantastic amount of give to them. They jiggled around really amazingly, you just had to be mesmerized by them. I also liked the shape and size of her nipples as well. I do wish they were tad bigger if only to give her a bit more help during paizuri but really they were quite lovely.

Himari's ass was kind of whatever. A couple of positions might have looked okay but overall it didn't stand out too much. I think there was some baby fat on her that contributed to it being kind of nice.

Performing

As a performer Himari was often nothing special. So much of her performance was just uncomfortable expressions and moaning during sex. I do think that Himari has a lot of potential though. She seemed to be right on the cusp of really holding it together during sex, often mixing between bad expressions and neutral expressions. It's nowhere near what someone good (such as Chitose Saegusa) would do but it felt like it was headed in that direction. It would not surprise me if Himari, in another year or two, could manage that kind of performance.

Video Review

Himari goes back home for a visit and everyone's noticed she's the same old Himari they remember except that she's grown into a real cutie. What they didn't realize was that she had become quite the little devil, though they sure did notice when started seducing them all.

The performance from Himari was all over the place. I could certainly see where they were coming from with Himari being a little devil seducing them but at the same time Himari struggled a lot to keep her performance together. So much of the video felt like it wasn't quite as good as it could or should have been because of a lacking performance out of her. Especially with a healthy dose of intercourse action, the scenes just always seemed to culminate in a letdown the way her expressions were. I say this a lot but it's always a bummer when a the personality isn't consistent throughout the video. Dominant during plot shouldn't mean submissive during sex.

The content was actually not much better either. The video broke itself down into completely separated scenes which made the video feel like it lacked a cohesiveness. There was obviously meant to be a plot behind it but you didn't really see much of it. It felt like the slight outfit variety (the yukata being the highlight) or the number of cumshots (10 in total) were all the video really had going for it. That wouldn't necessarily be bad if everything was good but with some awful lighting and terrible camera angles at times, especially in the final scene, those things weren't enough.

Career

Himari's career has been going very well, I think. SOD is a great studio to be at and she's been doing her thing with a video each month. She's also had not one but two Rebecca releases in her first year, just four months apart! I don't know off my head how quickly actresses go back there but I don't think it's that quickly (for prime actresses it's usually more like half a year it seems).

Himari also has another VR release that looks really promising. Starring some other actresses I like, particularly Honoka Tsujii and Yuri Oshikawa, I think it really stands out for her. Not just that she's doing VR (this being her third in her debut year, another rarity) but that she's doing VR with a bunch of other actresses. Just another thing that bodes well for her and makes you realize just how much SOD (and the industry as a whole) are banking on her.

Verdict

Rating - D

It is unlikely I will ever watch her again and I won't be paying any attention to them.

Honestly, Himari just isn't for me. I know D sounds quite harsh, and it kind of is, but I'm just not interested. I know I won't like every actress I watch and that was how I felt about Himari. While part of that was due to my physical preferences, I also felt like Himari just wasn't that special of a performer. I would be lying if I said the video not being the best wasn't a contributing factor, since I know there's a strong correlation, so she kind of also got a bit unlucky things turned out that way.
