Physical

Facially I was pretty indifferent to Karen, which is to say I didn't dislike her face but I didn't love her face either. She had a pretty youthful appearance and her large eyes really accentuated that. It almost made her look not that Japanese because her eyes were so unusually big. I would say one good quality of her was that she consistently looks the same, whether on covers or in videos, and that she looks the same in video as she does in covers. It's always great when you don't get bamboozled because studios love doing touch ups in stills and covers to trick you a bit.

Karen's boobs weren't my favourite. While F cup isn't exactly small it is on the smaller size among debuts I've seen this year. Where Karen's boobs did shine were her nipples, which were quite big and bulbous. For people who want nipples that aren't tiny, Karen is absolutely your girl. You can see from the clip above just how big and juicy they are, and how they stand out even when the camera isn't pointed directly at them (though of course they stand out a ton when it is focused on them). This is definitely one area where Karen stands out a lot.

Karen's ass was pretty forgettable, in my opinion. It definitely didn't stand out, even in positions where they tried to make it stand out. Like I say, not everyone is going to be super curvy and Karen is one of those unfortunate women who just aren't curvy.

Karen's body was pretty solid. Slim, reasonably tall, and some pretty good definition to her. You may not be able to appreciate her curves and I certainly wouldn't call her thicc, but you can still enjoy her body as a whole.

Performing

Karen's performing during plot portions was good. She had a vibrant smile on and seemed to be enjoying herself. Yes, it is easier to perform well during explicit plot portions, but I do still think Karen was fairly good for a debut. And really, her smile was very nice and you definitely wanted to see more of it.

During intercourse Karen was actually pretty reasonable. There was a pretty good attempt from her to keep her composure so she didn't become a total mess. It's certainly not the best I've ever seen but it really wasn't too bad for a debut actress.

Karen also got nice and sweaty during the final scene. There's a big difference between the water-droplet type sweat they use in hot summer videos and how sweaty Karen got. Like when it was just her body glistening from sweat, damn did that look great. It was very reminiscent of Kaho Kasumi for those that remember her, and while she is no Kaho, there are very few that can do it like Kaho, so anything stands out. I know I've pointed out a couple of debuts getting sweaty but Karen's was a whole different ball game.

Video Review

Karen plays the slutty older sister who isn't the best older sister, because as soon as she gets a chance she starts cheating with her sister's boyfriend behind her back.

The performance from Karen was solid. The plot parts were nice enough and I could get behind her big smile. During intercourse she tried to hold it together, which sometimes worked out reasonably well and other times fell a bit flat. I don't expect the world out of her, especially when the video didn't focus as much on things that would make her perform well. I think given what the video wound up being, I was reasonably happy with her performance.

The video's content was solid. There was some risky content that kept the video pretty lighthearted, like when Karen almost got caught in the bath with him. There was also a huge emphasis on Karen wearing skimpy bikinis, which sometimes were mediocre but with the slingkini was quite hot. I found the video lacked a certain something special, partially because the girlfriend was a bit downplayed. Videos like this tend to have powerful endings and this one fell flat.

Career

Karen's career has been going quite well. She's been getting a lot of different opportunities, from smaller studios to bigger studios to everything in between. She's been starring in solo, duo, group, and VR videos, so she's had quite a bit of variety too. She's also been releasing at an average rate of half a dozen a month or so, which is a very good pace for a debut.

Verdict

Rating - B

Overall I had really mixed opinions about Karen. As much as she isn't an actress I think I would come to love, I think she has a few stand out qualities. Her big, perky nipples and how sweaty she got were both really nice qualities that you don't see very often. When I look at those combined with some solid performing and a solid career, I think it will result in me watching her again. Perhaps her video with Sakura Tsuji (linked above) is a good option since I liked both actresses, but if not I'm sure there will be something eventually that's worth watching. I think a big thing with Karen is that I see a lot of potential from her, and who knows, she very well could turn out to be a huge star.
