2024 Debut Review - Kokona Nakamori

Kokona was someone I kind of spur of the moment decided to watch. While I wound up with a fairly small list of actress I definitely had to watch, I wound up with quite a larger bunch of actresses I was lukewarm about. I looked at Kokona thinking, well F cup isn't flat and she's kind of cute and ran with it. Especially for someone like myself where my reviews tend to be very heavily oriented toward a specific type of actress, picking actresses like Kokona who add a bit of variety is nice, especially if I draw a bit of natural desire.

Facially I thought she was okay, but I have mixed opinions. Watching her I very clearly had a stronger desire to see someone more mature, but at the same time there was something enthralling about her. She had a younger, cuter look that I often don't like but didn't mind here. It's not that I always dislike younger actresses like this but there aren't nearly that many that I do so it often does stand out.

Kokona's tits were definitely underwhelming. I came in expecting some bigger boobs to be honest, hoping they would size up to others around the 87F mark. For those counting at home, that would be Nami Okimiya or Remu Suzumori size. If you go down a cm you could get Miharu Usa, Mana Sakura, or Non Ohana, and if you go up a cm you could get Rima Arai, Mayuki Ito, or Azu Amatsuki. Point is, I thought they would be a lot bigger than they actually turned out to be. I don't think it was a case of boob sizes having variance but them straight up lying, like they were just nowhere near the size of any of these actresses and I listed quite a few. Maybe the odd angle might have them hanging at a certain angle to make them seem slightly bigger but just generally speaking I was having none of it. I was reminded of the statement Nina Nishimura made about the ways to measure boobs and I think Kokona might have been someone they intentionally measured in a beneficial way for her.

Kokona's ass was thankfully a lot better than her boobs were. It did depend on her having a favourable position but assuming we got that it looked pretty solid. It came across as having a good amount of fat in it, and it looked quite soft as she took it from behind. She did seem to have a bit of trouble arching her back at times which is perhaps a forgivable thing for a debut, especially in a video where not all the scenes gave her perfect opportunities for it.

Kokona's performance started off strong with her level of kissing and intimacy. She made things feel good right off the bat with how into it she wound up coming across. I definitely wouldn't call the performance assertive by any means but it felt more like a girlfriend experience for someone not well-versed in sex. The kissing itself often included a little more saliva than usual which I would consider a plus but your mileage may vary on that one.

Kokona's performance definitely dipped as the action went on where a lot of that disappeared. She stopped being as intimate and a lot of the performance started to fade into the generic stuff you hate to see.

Her blowjobs were pretty solid throughout. Sometimes she was giving you the slurpy noises, sometimes making good eye contact, sometimes even taking it a bit deep, and generally mixing things up well. I think at times it felt bad that she wasn't doing the style you preferred but I can't in good conscience say it was bad when there was always something going on to keep you entertained.

Kokona plays the club manager at school and uses her body to get the most out of the players on the team.

I find these videos need to pick a lane to follow because the mismatch in this one lowered it down a notch. On the one hand you had it as her being loving toward a guy and then later on it's just a gangbang with the team. Honestly, neither portion of it felt particularly nice. If she wanted to be that more loving kind then hone in on them being lovers; don't go to a love hotel, do it after class or even back at someone's home. Similarly if you want to go the gangbang route, do that where there's a dozen members of the team an it feels quite impactful. I think the same thing was true about mix and matching schoolgirl outfits and athletic outfits, and I just want to see her in the track suit and bloomers when we get this kind of content. At some level both of those are nice enough that you'll enjoy some of it but at some level it's just awkward that it split focus and didn't succeed at either (where I think it could have). I think I make it out to be worse than it really is, but I do think it needed a decent amount of changes.

Kokona's career has been going reasonably well. Where many actresses have a lot of generic content, especially at S1, Kokona has been dodging a lot of it. Keeping her on brand to a schoolgirl theme is a good choice and on top of that even some of the more generic things have felt less generic. Heck, even her image video for Air Control has a pleasant and less generic theme to it.

Kokona also has two VR films already which I think is generally a good sign, especially with one of them being themed.

There is a certain charm about her that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe that's just the general charm that younger, cuter actresses like herself tend to have. I can't exactly call myself an expert in that domain because she is quite far away from what I would typically watch. That being said, the simple fact that she is far away from what I would typically watch is reflected in my rating. Part of me looks at the rest of the S1 roster and goes "yeah there's way better things out there" but I also need to keep in mind that the two aren't cannibalizing each other. I often find physically similar actresses at studios just go through the gauntlet of videos so a Haru Minato or Momoka Kagura or Rara Anzai would do all of the same videos, whereas Kokona would not. A much better comparison might be to Mirei Uno who is going to have more of this schoolgirl variety. That generates a much better picture in my mind of how Kokona is going to end up and the results aren't promising. Maybe there's a world where I watch her again but if Mirei is any indicator (who I think I like more) it's just rather unlikely I become a big Kokona fan.
