2024 Debut Review - Nozomi Shirahama

Nozomi is someone I identified early on as a prime candidate to watch. 100J cup tits are my kinda deal, those are Shiori Tsukada size or debut Julia size, the right kind of size. She's also at Idea Pocket, a studio I quite like and usually doesn't have much in the way of super large tits. They had Himeka for a little over a year and Nozomi debuted right as Himeka left, so she was ready to fill a void for their studio and be even more in the spotlight.

Facially I wasn't actually that into her. She did have that idol type look but it also felt like her face was very stiff. Since she showed very little emotion it was hard to truly enjoy her, perhaps her face was still full of some plastic. "You're cute when you're mad" so the expression goes, or people naturally look more attractive when they're smiling. I just wasn't that into Nozomi's lack of anything, especially with her being on the younger side in her mid 20s. I think part of that was from her double eyelids and puffy bags under her eyes that looked a bit unnatural on her. It made her simultaneously look like she was 10 years older and I'm not about that, the puffy bags trend needs to go away fast.

Nozomi's tits were a bit of a mixed bag for me. They were big, no doubt about that, but also very stiff and oddly shaped with how full they were up at the top where they met the chest. As soon as I started watching them I immediately started to think they might be fake. Even the way they jiggled was a bit unnatural. I couldn't see any obvious scarring that would make me think one way or the other though her left boob's areola did seem like it was a bit weakly defined akin to Rimu Yumino's from last year (and perhaps they were done through the front). Obviously that's not what I wanted to see and a step down from IP's last busty actress Himeka, but then again big tits are big tits. I think these are probably better than say Sayaka Nanjo or Rio Asahi from last year so I guess it's not the worst, but really these were much worse than I was hoping for with them being 100J.

Nozomi's ass was surprisingly nice. You tend not to expect nice asses on women like her so I was pleasantly surprised. Actually fairly round and something she could expose well when bent over that had me surprisingly happy. In other moments it was also fairly wide and jiggled nicely, hard not to enjoy. Sadly it wasn't promoted as much because of her tits and it is something I think will typically be underplayed in videos for pretty obvious reasons which undoubtedly will be a shame.

Her body was generally fairly nice. While perhaps a touch scrawny she was fairly slim which certainly goes a long way. Her skin was also a bit darker of a complexion, not really a bad thing just different. I do feel like if Nozomi was a bit more meaty she could have a really fantastic body.

Nozomi's performing was that generic kind that gives Japanese women a bad reputation. Light moaning on every thrust and looking away from the guy. I don't think it really got better too, sometimes it was just louder moaning.

Nozomi's expressions were always very weak as well. They often came across very muted or even straight up pained. She never once looked like she was enjoying herself, even when clearly seducing the guy. They even had parts where she was just stoic and even if that was maybe intentional the whole video felt that way.

Nozomi's paizuri was very mixed. She often cupped her hand around the cock which is like, mate your tits are huge use them properly! It wasn't always quite this bad but the bad parts really rubbed me the wrong way. It's one of my biggest JAV pet peeves when an actress has tits like hers and has absolutely no clue what to do with them. At the same time she kept trying to do blowzuri or rubbing the cock against her tits and variety is good. Yeah sure it didn't exactly look great but it wasn't really the worst I've seen.

Nurse videos are slowly becoming this theme I watch for debuts that makes me hate the genre. So many of them just aren't good performers yet that it can drag down the video a lot, just like this one. Nozomi was painfully bad at everything and I just couldn't enjoy the video. Some parts of it were similarly done poorly, like how slutty she dressed to the point the action was inevitable as opposed to a more interesting intro, or just straight up skipping anything because tits. At the same time we did have a nice sex scene in the lobby that even had a risky element so I mean, sure, it wasn't bad. And of course at the end of the day it was still a nurse video so the aesthetics, even if I wanted her bra off a bit more, were quite welcome. It's hard to truly hate a nurse video like this but Nozomi certainly tried her best to make me dislike it.

Nozomi's career has been fine so far. Under the hood Nozomi started off at T-Powers but now she has seemingly switched to a new agency as she's no longer listed. She's also missed a couple of cycles which seems par for the course of a new debut swapping agencies. She's still listed as an Idea Pocket exclusive everywhere which is what counts, and still active. With her releases she still has a solid amount of content. Unfortunately that didn't translate into VR or Image Videos but it feels more like a matter of time.

Honestly I'm not really that impressed by Nozomi. Her tits are big and that's about it to be frank. In some years her tits might do well because there are no actresses with incredible tits but when I look at what we got last year she can't compare. There's at least half a dozen from last year that can compare in size and are simply way nicer than hers. She brought exactly one thing to the table and it was not done well enough. Thing is, her tits are still big, and big for me is almost always a win. Like I said before about liking them more than Sayaka's or Rio's, there's equally half a dozen or more from last year these are nicer than. And especially with Himeka Iori leaving Idea Pocket there's room for me to watch more Nozomi. It wouldn't surprise me if I never came back to her but it also wouldn't surprise me if I checked another video eventually. I'm not really excited to watch her but I wouldn't say I strongly disliked her to the point I never want to watch her again. Remember, D tier is me making a judgement call that I straight up will never watch her again but she wasn't that bad, just not nearly as good as I had hoped for.
