Introduction
Rea Marumo (originally debuted as Rea Maruishi) is an actress I've been somewhat on the fence about, surprisingly. When I first saw her I was like great, big titty S1 debut. Then I realized her tits looked fake and I was like, ugh maybe not so much. Then I saw how she was pretty vocal on Twitter and decided that she was likely going to be worth watching. I knew deep down that I would watch her either way, but fake tits trying to hold a candle to all the other S1 debuts didn't really excite me that much.
Physical
Facially I was a bit underwhelmed by Rea. Her eyes were very small and not my thing at all. Some covers seem to intentionally make her eyes look bigger, for example it is very noticeable on her second release. I found especially compared to most, she often had her eyes open just a touch.
Rea's tits were just okay. Were they big? Sure. Is that everything? Ultimately no. Rea's tits were fake and that was a really big deal to me. While they were stiff they actually came across decently for fake tits. Certain positions were better than others for sure; missionary seemed a lot better than cowgirl, for example. You could still see them bounce and jiggle a little bit in all the major positions but nowhere near what real tits would do. They had that marked shape of fake tits where they were defying gravity a little bit.
Rea's ass seemed nice. It came off relatively big for her frame and seemed to stand out quite a bit. She also had fairly meaty thighs as well. I would say not every position was as favourable for her ass and it didn't always look incredible but honestly sometimes it looked quite nice.
Performing
Rea had an interesting way of composing herself when things were getting to be too much for her to handle. She would stare off into the distance and roll her eyes, almost as if she was looking for direction from someone. Sometimes it felt a bit too obvious that she was looking for that support but when it coupled with her basically rolling her eyes back it felt like a slight not toward an ahegao direction. It wasn't perfect or anything but it was certainly something, especially since it offset some of her moaning.
Rea's paizuri was pretty underwhelming. She generally struggled to keep it between her tits and it often felt way more like a handjob. For someone as outspoken as her I had higher hopes that she would learn how to do this, not come across like her friend told her about it once and she decided to try it. Maybe part of it came down to her boob shape but I ultimately think it was more on her side than anything.
Video Review
Rea stars in a no bra themed video.
I found this video gave me a lot of mixed opinions. I liked how some of the scenes felt like they hit the nail on the head with the theme. A towel falling off is the right level mix of you being able to believe the situation without it feeling too contrived. Like that's what I want, something that feels more natural, and while some of them did, some of them definitely did not. I think visually a lot of it came together nicely, and her having more of a schoolgirl age outfit in the second scene without it being a schoolgirl outfit was the epitome of that. Even the lighting and settings were done well and it honestly visually looked great. I think it was her performance that dragged it down, often being a bit too generic for my tastes. Maybe not a bad introduction to her as it was a bit themed while giving her some space to perform, but ultimately not as satisfying as I had hoped.
Career
Rea's career has been going fairly well so far. Consistency with no gaps is huge and Rea's had no gaps. She's also had an image video for Fair & Way, which is quite common among S1 debuts these days (particularly the bustier kind). While Rea has had a partial name change I think it's perfectly fine. Rea is with agency Mine'S Pro that is home to guite a few major names like Unpai, Mana Sakura, and Eimi Fukada. That just means that she's at a great agency and so I wouldn't be worried about the state of her career. Especially if you check out her Twitter, it feels like she genuinely might be running it herself with the refreshing level of candor she has.
Rea also has herself a VR film only a few months in. Sure, it's nothing more than just a chance to get her big tits in front of a VR camera, but I'm not going to complain about getting them started early on VR.
Verdict
Rating - C
I am open to watching them again if the right content comes around.
I'm not sure I'm done with Rea, mostly because I do feel like her performing will catch up to her personality on social media. She's very outspoken on a lot of things and makes a lot of comments there. She is at Mine'S (the agency with names like Eimi Fukada and Mana Sakura) so I know they have good social media presence, but Rea's personality seems uniquely her own compared to what PR branding would be willing to do. I came into it hoping to see some of that fire in her video and didn't see it, but again for one of her first videos it's a little more excusable. She is the perfect kind of actress to keep tabs on but also wait a little bit. There are plenty where I'd want to watch them in the not so distant future but for Rea I kind of do want it to be the distant future. Like full on ignore some potentially good videos just to make sure she has time to improve. Maybe this time next year would be a good time to check her out, see what she has to offer, and form a second opinion about her.
This year I am doing 31 debut reviews, one each day in December. Make sure to come back tomorrow to see the next one! If you want to see which actresses I've reviewed so far, check out my advent calendar post.
