BREAKING: Yua Mikami Lands A TV Gig, Mao Hamasaki Rushed To Emergency In Hong Kong, Natsu Tojo Resumes Shoots & More!
Here's a rundown of some of the top stories that happened in June
Mao Rushed To Hospital As She Commences Hong Kong Tour!
I’m back again with another exciting news column guys, and to start it off we’ve Mao Hamasaki. The actress who’s on a hiatus has been a victim of harassment in the past and now she’s stumbled upon another controversy. So, this exciting scoop comes straight from Hong Kong! Earlier, as Mao jetted into the bustling metropolis for a tour of gigs, has been struck down by a mysterious ailment! Sources close to the actress state that it was nothing less than a period drama.
It happened so that Mao, fresh off the plane to perform was hit with a sudden paralysis of limbs going numb and her tongue stuttering. "On the first day, I arrived in Hong Kong , suddenly, my limbs and tongue were paralysed on the way to the car. My team immediately took me to the hospital." Talk about a party pooper!
Her ever-loyal convoy, clearly shaken, whisked her off to the hospital where things went from bad to worse. Mao was diagnosed with full-body paralysis and muscle spasms! Our beloved star was completely out of it, unable to grasp the situation as she quoted, "When I arrived at the hospital, I was paralysed and had no idea what was going on in my mind. I’m very grateful to the medical staff in Hong Kong for their kind care and immediate treatment and diagnosis."
Thankfully, the medical staff in Hong Kong swooped in like guardian angels and saved the day.
If reports are to be believed, oxygen poisoning caused this whole fiasco! Mao has been battling this little-known condition for years, mistaking it for a minor inconvenience. This time, however, it decided to throw a major tantrum, landing her flat on their back, "The doctor's diagnosis was Oxygen Poisoning. Although I don't know much about it. In fact, I've been suffering from this condition for several years, but I thought it was just a minor problem."
So the big question toiling the minds of the fans where that whether she’d defy the odds and perform a power-packed show, or they be compelled to cancel and prioritize their well-being. The suspense had them sitting on the edge of the couch.
As per Mao, she had a jam-packed schedule with four shows lined up – Space Club, Rose Club, and the DJ Kingdom live stream and she had the guts to recollect herself and stick to her commitments to performing, "I'll be there on the 22nd, 28th and 30th at space club, rose club, DJ Kingdom, so I have to get well in these days. At the same time, I have to give my best performance to everyone. I hope every fan will be satisfied every time they see me perform. I can't let them down. Thank you for your support."
Later after things had calmed down, she reflected on this whole incident, "This time, however, the situation was much more serious than before. I feel that I have to take my health problems seriously. I will take more rest. I can't worry my peers, friends and fans."
Listen up, Mao! We know you're a trooper, a performer who gives it their all, 200% every time. But honey, pushing yourself to the limit when your body is screaming for help is no good! Take a break, girl! Meanwhile, you guys can follow her on X
Yua Mikami Is Back, But There's A Catch!
Since I’ve gone for ages without having mentioned Yua, I thought she deserves a mention in this column. Yua seems to be reappearing in a dating game later this year, after having successfully judged one. Reports suggest she will appear in Tenth Art Studio's upcoming project, Drive Me Crazy! Move over her JAV career, now she’s to take over your TV screens!
Post her stint as a judge in one of the dating shows that I’d mentioned previously, Yua decided to take a break from judging love lives and live a little herself—retirement beckons, but not before she settles down with her main squeeze. The plot follows the former JAV actress post-retirement, Yua returns to open a bakery and decides to marry her boyfriend aka the you since it's a first person game. However, Mikami is very disappointed that her boyfriend accidentally or intentionally lost her engagement ring during her bachelor party
Now, was it an unfortunate accident or a case of cold feet? That, my friends, is the million-dollar question. While Yua frantically searches for the missing rock, a gaggle of gorgeous gals are vying for the bachelor's attention. However, Yua doesn't know that besides her, the male lead also has a harem behind such as a national idol, a hot vet, and a famous female football commentator. Sounds like her on-screen man is playing a different kind of game altogether!
In the process of finding the ring, it's upto you as a player to still retains your loyalty and consciousness to return to Yua Mikami.
But Yua Mikami isn't one to back down from a challenge. As per the source, she'll navigate this game with the same grace she brought with her JAVs. Expect sparks to fly, secrets to spill, and maybe even a few tears (hopefully not from Yua!). Tenth Art Studio is keeping things hush-hush about the exact situations and, ahem, "fishy" moments that await, but they've assured us that Drive Me Crazy isn't exactly appropriate for a U/A certificate. Just how wild will this "fake dating" simulator get? We'll just have to wait and see!
Just writing it down, makes Yua’s return to the spotlight feel even more enticing, can’t wait to play it when it drops. I’m sure, you can’t too! You guys could also follow her on X, and purchase the game on Steam when it drops next month!
MIRU Celebrates Hitting 1 Million Followers On X
Move over, Kardashians, because our very own S1 hottie Miru just waltzed into the big leagues (well, kinda)! After five long years of toiling away in the digital trenches of Twitter, this cutie has finally cracked the coveted 1-million-follower mark on Twitter. That's right, and she seems super hyped over this! "Guys! X has been going on for 5 years! Finally, we have over 1,000,000 followers! Thank you for always following me and reacting to my tweets. When I started Twitter 5 years ago, 1 million followers was a dream come true. I think I've grown a little in these 5 years."
So much so that, she isn’t holding back on showering her fans with gratitude for propelling Miru to Twitter stardom.

5年前にTwitterを始めたときは
100万人なんて夢のまた夢でした… pic.twitter.com/c5lZFOmAwt
But if only self-satisfaction was a thing, ugh, now it seems as if Miru’s got her sights set on more than a million followers (literally). A million followers just isn't enough for our super-ambitious Miru. In her latest Twitter outing, she could be seen urging her "supporters" to help her reach that magical 2-million mark, "Don't be satisfied just because we've reached 1 million people. I will continue to work hard to reach my next goal of 2 million! I really appreciate everyone's support. Thanks to all of you."
Now, listen, I'm all for chasing dreams, but one can't help but wonder if Miru's got her priorities a little… skewed. Remember those livestreams where her main source of entertainment involved bawling her eyes out for viewer validation? Yeah, those. Let's just hope this new milestone is the key to unlocking a more… dignified chapter in her career.
Maybe, just maybe, this million-follower mark will inspire her to ditch the waterworks and develop some legitimate content strategy. Right now, she seems to be on track, often dropping snippets of her latest game show, so follow her on X to catch up on the latest episode.
Natsu Tojo Resurfaces After A Year Long Break
Natsu Tojo is back! Well, sort of. After a nearly year-long hiatus that left fans wondering if she'd somehow gone extinct, Natsu popped out of nowhere to update us with a barrage of tweets on X, regarding her upcoming comeback.
Those fan meets Natsu was busy attending last year? The back-to-back greetings left our girl feeling a tad overwhelmed. So much so, that she decided to take a break from JAV – a break, mind you, not a full-blown retirement.
Back then, it was a whirlwind of emotions for Natsu’s fans. On the one hand, there was this relief of knowing their favorite star wasn't hanging up her pasties just yet. But on the other hand, that sudden break from filming? A right jab to the feels,
The Burning Question: When Will We See Natsu Back in Action?

Now, this is where things get a little murky. Our sassy star hasn't spilled the beans on her next big project (or should I say projects?). The only clue she offers is a vague "Shooting resumes~! Already having fun!" for a possible comeback. Until then, she wants us glued to her SNS, presumably for updates that are about as clear as a JAV actress's motivation (wink wink).
Studio Shuffle?
Here's a little something to keep you armchair detectives busy: Natsu debuted with Faleno studio in 2020 and has been their loyal partner in crime ever since. Could this comeback signal a shift in allegiances? Maybe a new studio will be the key to unlocking the next chapter of her career. Only time (and maybe a strategically placed social media post) will tell.
So, keep your eyes peeled and your wallets ready. Natsu Tojo is back, and with any luck, she's here to stay. But until then, the rumor mill is churning, and this gossip queen has her ear to the ground. Stay tuned for the next hot scoop!
MOODYZ Twin Sensation Has Found A New Office
Next, I have a piping hot gossip fresh off the set of Moodyz Productions. Okay, so the scoop is that a couple of months prior, the studio rolled out a series of multi-starrer JAV’s claiming that the actresses in the cast, (Hikari Taki & Mayu Suzune) are real-life twins! Yeah, that must’ve taken the industry by storm right? I’m not aware as to how much reality there is to it, but some naive fans might’ve bought to it, nevertheless.
Now, word on the street is that one-half of the dynamic duo, Hikari Taki (or should I say, the former Hikari Taki?), has ditched her agency, Dino, and jumped ship in favor of Bstar! This sudden agency switch-up comes after weeks of speculation, fueled by a radio show cancellation. For the unversed, Hikari and her on-screen sister, Mayu were scheduled for a live recording, only to have it yanked at the last minute, leaving fans baffled and the organizers were left scratching their head. I feel for them.

Now, thanks to the latest tweet from Hikari herself, the pieces are finally falling into place. It seems the radio show fiasco was a direct result of Hikari's agency switcheroo. But wait, there's more to the story. Not only is Hikari availing the services of a new agency (and rubbing shoulders with established stars like Marina Shiraishi and Moe Aamatsuka, no less), but the girl has kind of adopted a whole new persona, going by Tomoe Hikari. Talk about a fresh start!
Hikari tweeted, "I am Hikari Tomoe, a member of Bstar! I'm going to deliver a lot more "fun" and "eroticism" from now on, I look forward to working with you from now on!"
So, the burning questions on everyone's minds are: will Tomoe continue gracing the Moodyz stage, or will she strike out on her own as a freelancer? Did the "twin" act play a part in the agency drama (were they ever even real twins?), and how will this shake-up affect her career? One thing's for sure, this drama is far from over. Stay tuned, readers, because you know we'll be here with the popcorn, waiting for the next chapter to unfold! Meanwhile, keep up with her second stint on X.
Koharu Asai Bids Adieu To JAV Due To A Health Condition
Thought that this would be an apt end to this column with this pixie-haired cutie, Koharu Asai, who just made it official on her X account that she's retired as a JAV actress on June 22, 2024, and she shared quite a disheartening reason behind it. Apparently, a health concern has compelled her to take an early exit, isn’t that sad?
The actress shared a sentimental tweet stating, "I, have decided to retire from the AV industry. This year was supposed to mark the 5th anniversary of my debut, but please forgive me for making this announcement. It is very sad for me to leave the industry that I love so much, I love AV, and I sacrificed a lot to jump into it, and overcame various difficulties. Meeting all my fans and receiving their support is an irreplaceable experience for me. However, it was not easy to suddenly accept this reality, and to be honest, I spent about a month crying every day."
According to her tweet, it’s likely that Koharu's been battling a nasty case of endometriosis, a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, ouch! "I have a disease called endometriosis, and about a year ago my doctor told me that I would not be able to return to AV. I have not done much AV work, but this reality was still very painful."
Further in the tweet, she mentions that she has been following the doctor's advice and decided to take a voluntary before things get any worse while also expressing her regret of not being able to have the opportunity to bring her farewell JAV flick to life. Bummer, right? Fans must’ve hoped for a farewell JAV flick for the ages, but it looks like Koharu won't be gracing the screens for the final time, "In fact, I wanted to end it by shooting my last AV work, but that will not happen. We may be able to meet again in the future, but I would like to put an end to my name as AV actress Asai Koharu. I should have told everyone sooner, but I'm sorry for keeping quiet. Thank you for your continued support until the end."
Back when Koharu burst onto the scene with a SOD flix in June, 5 years ago in one of its signature female employee JAVs, she grabbed quite a few eyeballs with her infectious smile and, well, her undeniable talent. But all good things must come to an end but that doesn’t mean the existence of Koharu Asai is over. In her own words, the SOD hottie informed that she is planning to crowdfund a campaign to create a special song for her fans. Talk about a memorable way to say goodbye! Here's hoping she reaches her goal and gives her adoring admirers a sentimental send-off, "I thought about how I could leave something in a different form for myself, who has worked hard in the world I love, and for all the fans who have supported me. So this time, I thought, "I want to create an original song through crowdfunding, create a work with my lyrics and voice, and leave a proof that I lived as Koharu Asai."
So, I guess this isn't the final time we'll be hearing from this firecracker. We wish her all the best in her health journey and can't wait to see what creative career she takes up next!
