BREAKING: Yuria Satomi Robbed in Broad Daylight

Published : October 27th, 2020 Written by Mangochin

Yuria Satomi was caught a few years ago in a tax evasion scandal. Hours ago, she was featured in the news again, and about money again! But this time it isn't a tax evasion scandal, but rather, a robbery.

Yuria's most recent "featured" release on R18

It turns out, at 11:00AM JST of the 26th, 3 men between the ages of 18-19 were arrested as suspects in a robbery in front of a Tower Apartment in front of Nakameguro Station. Pretending to be couriers, they made their way into the apartment, stole 6 million yen (57k USD) in cash, and proceeded to escape. Yuria was home at the time, whom they threatened to stab if she didn't cooperate. Leaving by car, the suspects were caught 5 hours after the ordeal, and 4 miillion yen has been recovered, while 2 million is still missing. Afterwards, Yuria said "they were wearing plain clothes, and were carrying bulky cardboard boxes that seemed too lightweight. I was too focused on the boxes, and felt something poking on my skin. I screamed in shock and tried to close the door, but they barged their way in."

While readers may be surprised at how much cash Yuria had on hand, this is not a huge surprise as Japan is still a cash-based society, and Japanese still do not trust banks. It's only been in more recent years that there has been a slow integration of credit-cards due to the tourist industry, however the general public has still not converted.

So importantly, why was Yuria robbed? While it's still unknown to whether she was knowingly targeted based on her identity, however she has already been outed by Japanese journalists for tax evasion. Thus it would be no surprise if they targeted her because of that incident. Yuria has been quoted as saying that she currently uses all her income, as of 2017. With our eyebrows raised, it seems both readers and writers at ZENRA were also not convinced by this statement. Did the robbers knowingly target Yuria for her money? The apartment complex in question has an underground parking lot with 2 floors, has guards on the first floor, and base prices of roughly 200,000 yen per month and easily hitting 300,000 and upwards. Meaning that either Yuria has incredibly bad luck, or more likely she was targeted. Living in an apartment complex with 495 apartment units, and all the extra security, she somehow managed to be the one person who got robbed. The other possibility is that she was targeted, due to her background in AV, especially if it was out of desperation due to COVID.
