FANZA Stats 2023: How JAV Fans went through enough Tissue Boxes to reach Space

FANZA STATS

FANZA reports over 1 Billion visits to their site with 3.8 million total users. With how FANZA is region-locked for many it would be interesting, but very difficult, to learn how many are from outside the region. I know this as a user of FANZA from outside the approved areas. Those nearly 4 million users account for around 527 million video views. The site then gets cute with its data collecting. Using a survey where they asked 5,700 people if they used tissues while watching to which users reported an average of 2.5 tissues. Taking that and extrapolating from that with the average size and capacity of tissue boxes to the total number of views gives them a height of 428 kilometers of tissue boxes. Some very generous math brings the total tissue boxes used for FANZA up to the Thermosphere and over the ISS (International Space Station).

User Behavior

Of those 3.8 million users the average person viewed videos 136 times. Over a year that is an average of 11.3 times per month and 2.8 times a week. That is just the average and I’m sure some power users are watching a whole more smut (tries not looking in the mirror). Total video viewing time came out to a whopping 2.4 billion minutes which is 4,692 years. Fun fact approximately 4,692 years in 2600 BC the Great Pyramids of Giza were being built. Time per viewing breaks down to 4 minutes and 40 seconds. As usual on the whole porn viewers are not built to last, no they want to get right down to business. Pretty surprising as JAV opts for more feature-length movies that can clock over an hour and a half. Compared to their last year's stats this is a minute longer so they are working on their stamina.

Search Term Trends

Now we move on to the most popular search terms of the year and they also compare them to the last FANZA report in 2018 so we can see what’s changed. And there is where we get to the sad news at least for a lot of the team at ZENRA. The number one search term was nipples of course relating to nipple play. A favorite genre best associated with Director Samoari. That man loves male nipple play almost as much as he does sticking a camera behind a houseplant and calling it a day. He and his videos have had a big impact on JAV as a whole with many others copying his style today. Sometimes you just have to admit the war is lost. All hail the Nipple Man.

Compared to 2018

2018 total visits – 1.6 million

Users – 3.5 million

It’s fascinating to see how FANZA/DMM has changed in the last 5 years from 2018. Total number of users is up by 300 thousand from 3.5 million in 2018. However, their total visits dropped compared to the last report of 16 million visits. Perhaps likely due to their region locking of the site. Anyways I hope we won’t have to wait another 5 years for another of FANZA’s year-in-review reports. Compared to 2018 this was a bit lacking but seeing them lay out their data is always interesting. The data of course says little about fans viewing JAV outside of FANZA either through other storefronts, physical stores, or other unscrupulous means.
