Plot

Most of the film involves walking around, flashing, sucking every now and then, getting fondled by the crew, etc. There's a bit of outdoor sex, although it's nothing special. It is the thrill of getting caught that makes the occasional outdoor sex exciting. 

What really caught our attention is Catherine Sakura's great acting. She really leaned into the slut character from start to finish. She's enthusiastic and crazy, smiles a lot, does everything that the crew tells her to do without hesitation. This includes masturbating between two trucks, promenading in the picturesque Japanese outdoors with a remote vibrator in her pussy, and getting fucked in a mossy overpass. 

GYAN-007 is not your usual public humiliation/ exhibitionist film. It is a fun and free-wheeling take on the genre. Simply put, it's like having a date with your crazy horny girlfriend. As such, the sex does not feel quick or rushed as in most outdoors films. 

Production Quality

As an outdoors film, there's obviously not a lot of production preparation involved in making GYAN-007. For one, they didn't provide Catherine a lot of interesting costumes. There's even a lengthy hotel room scene which was obviously just included 'cause the producers ran out of outdoor shots. 

But as for the outdoor scenes, the choices of setting are nonetheless interesting . They chose some remote and bizaree locations. Rarely in the film will you see a single pedestrian. That takes away some of the exhibitionist thrill, but it's refreshing to see some nature every now and then when watching a porno. 

They also did a scene in what appears to be an abandoned factory/ nuclear power plant/boiler room or something or the sort. It's like watching a post-apocalyptic JAV. It's a unique take, to say the least. 

Overall Satisfaction

GYAN-007 is not a perfect film. It has some annoying indoor fillers, and the thrill level is not particularly when you're shooting in a remote location. But Catherine Sakura proves that her energy and charm can carry an AV. Her performance is a relevation. We are hoping for more adventurous content from this haifu in the future.
