Horror-themed JAV Movies To Creep You Out This Halloween

Many Halloween parties all over the world have been canceled due to the current global situation. Fortunately, the AV world is there to provide much-needed entertainment. In keeping with the spirit of trick-or-treat, we are presenting to you some of horror-themed JAV titles that will surely keep you busy. 

Now let's move on to the JAV titles. We chose these titles based on how properly they were done in terms of costumes, set, make-up, and acting. We also put an emphasis on how entertaining and fap-able they are. 

WAN-066- Taking An Amateur Gal To A Haunted Spot And Getting Real Ghosts To Fuck Her

The keyword in the title is "real." Yeah, WAN-066 is all about real supernatural sex.

This is why when the 'ghosts' finally appear in the movie, the fact that they look hilariously unreal only adds to the comedy. 

Setting the goof aside, the concept behind WAN-066 is as follows: the producers will bring four amateur gals to a dark and supposedly haunted spot. After a few tense moments and jump scares, a gang of masked dudes who looks like they just went to a Halloween Party will pounce on the ladies and have their way with them. 

There are many moments in WAN-006 that will make you laugh out loud. But what I really dig about this movie is that they went for a really dark and serious production. You can imagine it can be quite terrifying to have sex in total darkness with three sets of hands grabbing at you. This adds a certain realism to the actresses' reactions. 

This movie also has a charming gonzo ghost-hunting vibe throughout its entirety. The cheap masks and the sparse set reminds me of classic Japanese horror films. This also benefits the actresses as they are most likely to be themselves and to look afraid than in a professional production with a large crew in a properly-lit set. 

I am not sure whether the actresses here are real amateurs, but they are practically unknown. That, too, adds to the gonzo vibe they were aiming at. All in all, WAN-066 is a solid JAV in its genre.  

URAM-007- Girl With The White Eyes 2 

It goes without saying that 2000s J-Horror has left a huge mark in the Japanese culture memory. One can see it in most horror-themed productions, including URAM-007 starring the pretty lass, Nagomi.

URAM-007 is part of the series Girl with the White Eyes, which, as the name implies, is about a woman with scary white eyes. We follow her origin story, when she caught her boyfriend cheating on her with another woman. After catching them in the act, she brings out a sickle out of her bag (lol) and hacks them to death. Thus begins her transformation and sexual escapades as the Girl with the White Eyes. 

If you're a fan of hentai, you might recognize a similarity with the series called Toshi Densetsu. Both are based on the popular Japanese urban legend of the slit-mouthed woman who targets people. The Girl with the White Eyes also has revenge elements that it got from other popular personnages such as the Yuki-onna or the Snow Woman. 

They did a good job in making Nagomi look terrifying. Although the production could benefit from some more work, I enjoyed the wide variety of sex scenes. There is a normal sex scene, a lesbian scene, a fellatio scene, and quite a number of random scary moments that brings all the others scenes together. They put a lot of work into making this a passable horror flick.

XRW-439-  Can A Woman Become Wet From Fear? How Erotic And Perverted Can A Woman Become When She's Afraid!? 

XRW-439 is porn movie slash paranormal experiment. The research problem: can a women get sexually when she's afraid? Starring Misato Nonomiya, this ridiculous JAV is proof that fear can be a good queller of nerves. 

Misato and her partner Ryo Sawai goes into the neck of the woods which is supposedly haunted. We follow them as they walk through the dark, pray in the shrines, and cross forbidden areas. Every now and then, Ryo gives Misato's pussy a looksie to see if its wet or not.

Well, as it turns out, fear does make Misato horny. So to further test their hypothesis, they have sex in different spots in the forest.

Despite the simple concept, the producers did a good job to give the movie a creepy vibe. For instance, the shaky handheld shots and the occasional "what's that over there?!" moments put me on the edge of my seat. The movie leaves it up to the imagination, to great effect.

The sets are also nicely composed. There are some creepy-looking dolls all over the floor, some World War 2-era memorabilia on the walls, one crucified puppet nailed on a tree trunk, the works.

And let's give it up to Misato, too, for her hot body which looks doubly salacious in the dark. Her acting is also not too shabby. Perhaps she really was creeped out shooting the movie in the forbidden forest. Ryo Sawai did a good job too, acting as her goofy but horny partner. 

PARATHD-0133- Naked Ghost Stories in the Middle of the Night Complete LIVE

Now for something with a bit more party vibe. PARATHD-133 is a horror-themed variety show where the actresses listen to different ghost stories and do a series of challenges afterwards. It features Yu Shinoda, Saki Mizumi, Karin Yu, and Karin Natsumi, all equally hot and enthusiastic participants. 

What really strikes me about PARATHD-133 is how professionally-made it is. The sets, the lighting, the props, the writing of the ghost stories, the real reactions of the actresses when they hear the stories, the comedy, the games, the editing, and of course, the sex. It's crazy entertaining! It's almost at the same level as the real Japanese TV shows. 

For instance, in the very first scene, we listen to a hot lady narrating a scary story. The serious looks on the actresses' faces as they listen to the story becomes doubly hilarious when random 'ghosts' appear to kiss and harass them. Eventually, it gets sexual and the girls are told to go around and meet the other 'ghosts' in the studio. 

There's even some random parlor games, such as when the girls have to stick their hands into a box, touch the objects, and guess what objects they are touching. Really refreshing to see girls legitimately having fun even in a non-sexual way. 

There's something really hot about seeing the girls look afraid, and then laugh their guts out, and then suddenly get fondled or fucked. It is definitely rare to see a JAV title that masterfully mixes horror and comedy without taking away the sexiness. 

Honorable mentions

One honorable mention is the VR zombie title, WAVR-111, with Tsubomi. The idea is that Tsubomi is trying to escape from zombies and takes refuge in your home. I would have to say that VR, the post-apocalyptic setting, and Tsubomi's pussy goes very well together. 

There's also one with Miho Tono (COJ-003) where she goes to a haunted area to seek out spirits and then have sex in them.

Finally, we have ZENRA-196 which is a unique take on the eldritch wringer urban legend. It features Fuuko Oshima as the faceless monster or nopperabou. This one is available with subs too. You'll be surprised of the layers you'll miss if you don't understand the dialogue. 

All in all, horror-themed JAV is a fairly niche genre. One can get the impression that most horror are gimmicky, but there certainly are gems out there. I, for one, was personally very impressed with PARATHD-133 and it made me curious about the studio's (Paradise TV) other works. Why don't you start with these titles and explore the genre yourself?
