JAV Actresses: No Longer Watching

Actresses don’t fall in favor forever. Sometimes your interest in them dips and wanes. Maybe their titles are boring, maybe they made a change you dislike, or maybe time is limited and you favor others over them. Which is certainly my case with how much newbies and new names I check out. Thanks to my New Debut Series I have watched more newbies and rookies than ever before. Also my Red Hot Report series where I try to highlight rising names in JAV. Both have made me check out girls who are new to me and as a result I've been watching certain girls less. So much porn, so little time to watch it all.

For whatever reason the appeal is not as strong as before. This is No Longer Watching. These are actresses that I’ve dropped out of my viewing habits and also actresses on the bubble from being dropped. Feel free to drop in below and talk about actresses you’ve stopped watching and why.

Dropped

Saki Okuda

First up is S1’s Saki Okuda, the pale short haired milf with one busty bust. Saki is pretty much unchanged for a while now. Looking the same as for most of her career and taking the same titles with S1. And I think that is my issue with her. She feels stagnant right now, just going through the motions. Her titles have felt the same one after another, little variety or excitement in seeing her. She is still very pretty, has a great bust, and is the milf-est of the S1 roster; she just isn’t doing it for me anymore. Saki's fall is pretty much the reason I started this list.

Yuria Yoshine & Nanami Matsumoto

I’m bundling these two together because of how alike they are. These two busty babes are big hits with boob fans today and for good reason. Great chest and interesting titles especially Yuria. She has really surprised me with the diverse and very adventurous types of videos that she will do. However for whatever reason both ladies have just fallen off from my interest and through no fault of their own. Losing out so I can check out newer names usually more slender actresses. For boob fans like Oppaira and Panking they are probably cat nip but they have just fallen out of favor for me. Almost confirming that I am not a big Boob fan. This is a case where it is more me than them.

Asahi Mizuno

Next is Asahi Mizuno a big fan favorite the first time around. In her comeback tour not so much. She came back with a much heftier body which I really didn't have a big problem with. While she did lose her fantastic figure it made her much thicker overall. It really has to do with two things, first is her choice of return studio. Madonna has mainly drama videos and keeps their actresses in mostly submissive roles. Both things that are not Asahi’s best strengths. She is much better in looser plots and being a femdom. The second issue is that Asahi just doesn’t seem all that into it anymore. It’s a job at the end of the day but some actresses do their job with passion and gusto. For Asahi right now, she looks like she is just doing the bare minimum. Her heart doesn't seem into it that much. The days of fun and dominant Asahi seem to be over. And with it goes my interest in her videos.

Lily Hart

Another Madonna girl that I have gone lukewarm for me is Lily Hart. After a short debut with Idea Pocket she joined with Madonna and hasn’t looked back. A shame that such an outlier actress with her blonde hair and tall body is used in one note titles over and over. She’s not that great of an actress too so the drama angle hurts too. She’s also had more work done on her face and body. Changes I’m not a big fan of. Lily is still very unique (for JAV) but right now she is in a sea of average. A curiosity to see in JAV but that isn't enough anymore. Lily is off the watchlist.

Nene Yoshitaka

Next up we have Nene Yoshitaka. I think Nene is one of the most beautiful women in JAV. Pristine and prim looks with flawless skin. Her performing was solid but her voice was a bit too squeaky in my opinion. I never followed her all that much before but since her move from S1 to Faleno she has dropped off completely for me. Faleno as a studio doesn’t do much for me, they are like an off brand S1. As such Nene’s turn with them hasn’t done much for me. Her looks still top tier though. Absolutely gorgeous and eye candy to look at but you need more than that especiually for actresses that have been around for a while.

Rin Azuma

Coming up is Rin Azuma. She is currently freelancing around with small studios. Before that she was with Faleno’s spinoff label Dahlia and before that she was with Madonna. Both moves I was not a fan of. Her career path as been pretty underwhelming personally since. Dahlia and Madonna are decent and good studios but her best work was with Tameike Goro easily. Ideally she would go back to them but I think Rin could be a good fit for Moodyz or Hon Naka. Her unique looks and skinny body might not have much appeal to wider audiences but she has a soft spot in my heart. For now Rin is dropped from my viewing rotation. It has been a while since I've watched a video from her.

Mai Kanami

Finally we have a rookie by the name of Mai Kanami and she is hard to place. Another tall goddess with long legs. I’ve followed this Idea Pocket girl from debut till now and she was one of my favorite debuts of last year. However she has still yet to really wow me with a great title after my initial impression. She has very much improved in her acting and performing. Despite that directors and actors seem to struggle to handle the leggy babe. The tall figure and long legs have made for awkward positions and weak sex. She is too much to handle for most and as a result her titles have suffered. I did enjoy IPX-895 from her but I am not sure what to make of Mai as a whole; I like her long leggy self but she seems in an odd spot. It's a tough one and while I do like a nice tall girl but for now I’m dropping her. Maybe drop back in for the rare interesting looking video.

On the Bubble

Kaho Imai

This is for actresses I haven’t dropped yet but are on the bubble of being so. First is Kaho Imai. A gorgeous gal is beautiful with a nice medium body to boot. Her titles recently have felt a bit lackluster. She’s not a great actress and kind of stiff. I put her in the same category of girls like Suzu Honjo or Sakura Miura. Big beauties with good bodies but less than charismatic or wild in bed. So pretty that you forget their shortcomings but I don’t know how long that will last. With Nene I’ve already written her off, with Kaho not quite yet. Interesting enough it seems she is moving more and more away from her Gal image. Looking less and less tan and without all the jewellery. Im fine without all the long nails and gold chains but Kaho pulls off that tan look so well.

Suzu Matsuoka

Next we have Prestige and Suzu Matsuoka. Suzu is pretty darn fun and a bit out of the norm for the studio with their usual cast of petite and pale beauties. Suzu is a bottom heavy slender babe with sweet ass. She is also quite the man eater very active and aggressive in bed. The problem with Suzu is Prestige use of her. She’s great in their better series like in wild piston pounding videos or messy sweaty titles. But they have been using her in a lot of boring hotel sex type videos. Something I’ve noticed in a lot of Prestige videos lately, maybe penny pinching from the studio as a whole. Prestige took note too as they downgraded from their main label Absolute and down to the Kanbi label. At this point I think her leaving them as a whole would be best for her career. She seems much more free and assertive compared to most of their girls so freelancing could be good for her. Probably better than staying at Kanbi.

Yume Nikaidou aka Ai Hongo

Next we have Yume Nikaidou or Ai Hongo as she is known now as. Yume started out really strong and has since tapered off. Mainly due to her studio Faleno. Yume’s titles haven’t really exited me much lately. I am firmly of the mind that Yume should leave Faleno and freelance. Her social media savviness and English background is being sorely untapped. I am starting the “Free Yume/Ai from Faleno!” movement. As a freelancer I don’t doubt Yume would be a hot ticket actress. Or at least try another studio. She could join the super team at S1 or I think Premium could be a good fit for her. Either way her career needs a shot in the arm.

Minori Hatsune

Like Asahi Minori is another surprise comeback from a beloved actress. She started back with Madonna but has since left them and is freelancing for smaller name studios. Maybe she prefers these small time makers instead of the bigger names. She’s just quietly working right now. It remains to be seen how her career develops from here on. More small studios or will she find a new exclusive home with another studio. If she wants to work lowkey then my interest will probably peter on out. Her first stretch was still magnificant so she can hang her hat on that.

Aika Yumeno

Finally we end with maybe the biggest name and surprise pick here today with Aika Yumeno. I can’t say a bad thing about Aika. She is cute, pretty, has great knockers, a nice body, and is a good performer. A real crowd pleaser most can’t knock her off for much. The worst thing you can say about her is that she is mild or just okay. The issue I have with her recently is the same with Saki; she feels a bit stagnant now. Her titles have felt uninspired and Aika feels like she is doing the same old, same old. Aika has been with S1 for a long time now almost a decade soon. Maybe it’s time for her to try out the open market. I think her career needs that new spark to get her going again.

Conclusion and other Viewing Habits

Other actresses I’m watching less of have been Kana Yume and Airi Suzumura. Mainly because both have been on an extended hiatus for a while. Fortunately it seems Airi is back and Kana, with a new name Jun Mizukawa, seems set to return as normal. I’ve also been watching more of Airi Kijima and Iroha Natsume. Two veteran actresses who have had an extra pep in their step recently. There are also actresses like Iori Kogawa and Makoto Toda who are set to retire soon. Retirements can sap your desire to watch them, maybe to put it off so to speak. Well that caps us off for today. Go on and comment below about your recent viewing habits.
