Hey guys, Oppaira here, stealing an idea that other bloggers have been doing as of late. I figured I'd run down a few actresses I'm no longer watching. One of the things I find is that I watch too many actresses. I mean, just last year alone I watched over 70 actresses for the first time, and this is a thing I do pretty much every year too with 2021 being over 70 as well. That leads us to today's topic about actresses I'm no longer watching, because I have to make room for new actresses that I start watching. With that in mind let's jump right into the 10 actresses I've chosen for today.

Minori Hatsune

Minori is an actress I didn't really get into until after she retired. When she came back to the industry I couldn't get enough of her. Her initial success after her redebut was kind of short lived as she moved from Idea Pocket to Attackers, then to Madonna, and finally to her mediocre freelancing that she's been doing lately. It feels like these days Minori is struggling to get any opportunities and it's a damn shame. I'd still totally be into her if she was releasing good content but so much of it is so generic for such mediocre studios. I won't hold my breath about Minori having any good content in the near future, and maybe I'll start to get more into some of her older content during her glory days, but for now Minori is someone I just haven't been watching.

Rara Anzai

Rara is an actress I have a really strong love hate relationship with. On the one hand she's a physical goddess, with some of the nicest breasts in town and while also being one of the prettiest actresses. On the flip side she's a pretty weak performer and her videos always seem like she's just in it for the paycheck. That's not to say I wouldn't watch her, as sometimes porn is just a physical attraction, and like I said, few are physically as nice as Rara. I, however, find myself far more likely to watch Rara when I keep seeing her new releases coming out. There's just something about newly released content that makes me more willing to watch and with Rara disappearing once again (she's been gone for almost a year now if you can believe it) that means I basically just don't watch her anymore. 

Yui Hatano

Yui is definitely an actresses I wouldn't have expected to see here but the truth of the matter is that her career has been kind of bland as of late. Long gone are the days of 2014 Yui when she was releasing well over 200 videos a year. These days it's not even half of that, it's like 1-2 per week. It's been pretty underwhelming as a Yui fan because the quality of content has also gone downhill. Watching her be in generic videos for Ruby, Planet Plus, or especially Max-A hasn't been enjoyable. I think a lot of the more recent content from Yui that would be worth watching has been focused around group content with a solid cast rather than anything Yui herself is putting out. I don't think this means Yui's career is petering out or anything, she's still one of the top actresses in the industry and recently mentioned she's trying to surpass Yumi Kazama (and all I can say about that is good luck). Yui is also the actress on this list I have the most faith in me deciding to watch more again in the future. I'm generally not opposed to Yui content and would be happy to watch good content should it come out, so I think it's just a matter of Yui going back to the spotlight with some renewed vigor, a few more releases, and taking on a few more interesting videos.

Maria Nagai

Maria is an actress that I liked at first, however as time went on she went down a path that I couldn't get excited about. I don't blame her for what she picked, it certainly makes her unique and allows her to stand out, but it simply hasn't for me. As much as I've tried to be interested in her with how she looks now I just can't do it. As a result I simply don't watch Maria at all anymore. What's interesting about Maria is how big of an initial interest I had in her, because I was really into her at the beginning of the pandemic but it's now been nearly two years since I've checked her out. I also don't see this changing any time soon, her look just isn't for me and I can accept that.

Aika Yumeno

On the active side Aika Yumeno is probably the single most surprising name. I don't dislike Aika at all but I've found myself not actually watching her that much these days. Part of me blames S1 for being so vanilla: when her videos are as generic as they are I just can't get that interested in her. They've also been getting more vanilla over time, much to my chagrin. I think at the same time I find myself exploring different actresses at S1, like Aka Asuka and Konan Koyoi, willing to give them more of a shot. If anything though, my biggest gripe with Aika is that she doesn't often reach her full potential. While I think Aika is rarely bad, it's always so frustrating that her performance isn't up to the level that I want to see. It's like when your team blows a huge lead and you just have to sit there disappointed knowing they're capable of better. I think because Aika's personality is bubbly and that she excels so much in it, it's often very easy to spot a release that is likely to be mediocre, so you can easily just avoid watching things. I'm hopeful she can bounce back and make 2023 another decent year but I'm also not holding my breath that I'll watch her all that much.

Yu Kawakami

Yu is a MILF I've certainly enjoyed over the years but last year when I went on my MILF binge she fell to the wayside. I suspect a good portion of that is due to the quality of studios she works with these days. She's often working for studios at the bottom of the barrel, like Ruby and Center Village; it makes it so hard to watch her content when Venus is considered the highlight. I think on the flip side, I've been able to find more and more MILFs to enjoy and have had a lot of flavour of the month obsession with them. Actresses like Ririko Kinoshita, Ai Mukai, Miki Yoshii, Maki Hojo, and Maki Tomoda have really dominated a lot of my viewing where Yu might have been an actress I'd check out in the past. Yu might have bneen someone I cared about in the past but she's definitely someone I'm no longer watching nor expect to watch anytime soon.

Mao Hamasaki

Mao is an actress I really haven't been all that interested in despite how much I've seen of her over the years. I think part of that is due to me realizing I actually don't like Mao as much as I thought I did. As I watch more and more actresses I'm able to find more actresses I like and really hone in on my preferences. Mao is not busty enough to make a dent on that front and often isn't being wild enough these days to make me interested there. I'd rather watch someone like Yumika Saeki if we're doing deepthroat, or Alice Otsu if we're doing squirting. It's really interesting to see your preferences shift over time, especially when you just sort of wake up and realize she's just not your thing. I think part of it is as I mentioned in the intro, that there's so many actresses that I watch that I simply don't have the time of day for everyone. Like with some others on the list, I'm not convinced I don't want to watch Mao, but it's been far and few between compared to where she once was on my list.

Meguri

Meguri is one of the most surprising names on this list to me. She's one of my all-time favourites and has consistently been in my top 3 for years, and yet these days I hardly watch her if at all. Meguri is someone I've seen a lot of videos of and there are certainly tons of great videos, but going back through the remaining content I just don't find myself interested. I'm not really one to rewatch videos and I find myself disappointed with the videos left. I will admit that I'm not as interested in the early content from her, particularly because her beauty is something she grew into rather than something she had from the start. She didn't become the beauty I recognize today until maybe around 2013, so the earlier content for SOD and S1 just doesn't interest me that much. Meguri is still not going anywhere on my all-time favourites list but she's becoming more of a fond memory these days with her being a couple of years out of the industry now.

Kaori

Once upon a time Kaori was one of my favourite MILF actresses. Things have changed quite a bit since those days and now I'm barely watching her, in fact I didn't watch her a single time last year. Truth of the matter is that Kaori has always been a little overrated and she's been more of a "damn that ass" and not much else. I got into Kaori at a time where a big booty MILF was exactly what the doctor ordered and I was happy to watch her. Honestly though, my need for voluptuous women in JAV has gone down as of late and so too has my desire for Kaori. There's still plenty of content out there that I'm sure is solid content but I find myself far more likely to watch someone like Momoko Isshiki even if Momoko's ass, while nice, is nowhere near Kaori's. It's more like I'm starting to need a bit more substance, and once you clear out the good ass-focused videos there's not much behind the curtains. Kaori is still good if you want big booty MILF but unless I go back to the days of old, I just don't see myself wanting to watch her nearly as much, if at all.

Yuri Honma

Yuri Honma was practically my favourite actress during the pandemic, only Kurea Hasumi eclipsed her, and yet Yuri is an actress I basically don't watch anymore. It's staggering just how far down my list she's gone but I think it aligns exactly with where her career was before. Pre-pandemic her career was pretty mediocre, just taking whatever odds and ends she could find. That's exactly what it feels like her career has gone back to. I'm not really sure why studios have decided they're not interested anymore, I think she's fantastic, but the quality of releases has just tanked. It wasn't even a recent thing either, 2022 was pretty miserable for her too. I watched about 20 videos a piece in 2020 and 2021 only for me to watch just five videos last year. Even that was more of me clinging on to the success and hoping for stuff, because I really did want to watch Yuri but I was always disappointed. Suffice to say, Yuri Honma is someone I'm reluctantly not watching anymore. I'm not opposed to watching her if a good video comes out but I have no faith in that happening and the five videos of last year are likely to be more than this year.
